A cute book for babies and tiny toddlers. Not one we will read often but a good one time exploration of body parts.

I liked how the introduction explains with a developmental approach how to use the book, it basically explains how to read with a toddler. There are engaging and multicultural pictures. It discusses ALL the body parts. It would be good for toddlers and parents alike. I think parents need to learn how to engage with their child.

An absolute joy to read with my children! My 9 year old loves reading it with her 8 month old younger brother and our other kids (8 & 3) have gotten many giggles out of it as well!

I loved seeing the diversity in this book - both in terms of gender, ethnicity and disability. Although showing a character in a wheelchair is a bit of a cop-out when it comes to disability representation. Especially when it comes to the topic of body, the author could easily have shown other types of disabilities. Like a kid missing an arm because of an accident. Or someone having a hearing aid etc.
ALSO. It was extremely dissapointing to see the book completely skip the genital area. I goes straight from the belly/back area to your legs. Apparently children don't have genitals...
There is absolutely no need to skip this area in this way and sends the signal that it is something we should not talk about or something that should be hidden. Which can produce feelings of shame. For that reason I cannot recommend this book. Children don't find the topic of genitals shameful or disgusting. They learn such things from the adults around them. And it's the child's caretaker's responsibility to facilitate age-approbiate conversations about the child's genitalia and make sure that they understand the names of their body parts.

Cute and easy to read in the NetGalley app. When I read it in the kindle app it was a mess and jumbled.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the arc.

An educational picture books for the little ones to teach them basic anatomy and how our body parts work together. It can be very interactive and a lot of fun, with illustrations easy to understand for the little ones.

Most importantly it talks about how humans are different and diverse and how beautiful that is.

The author has notes for the parents on how to use this book depending on their kid's age.

We loved this little book all about our bodies and how special we each are. The illustrations by Becky Paige were so vibrant and colorful yet simple for little ones to understand the point of the story. Playforth did such a wonderful job pointing out each part of our bodies and how we use them, like our mouth so talk, laugh and sing. Each part is shown and talked about in a way to relate to our little ones and their daily world. I also love the diversity shown in the book including everyone. The book shows our little ones how wonderful each person is and even though we are all unique we have so much in common with each other. What a wonderful way to teach our children and they will enjoy it at the same time. I highly recommend this to all families of little ones. I also recommend it to be used in an early childhood classroom. The possibilities are endless. Enjoy this with your little ones.

This is a perfect book for toddlers. And I love that it’s designed to read again with a different emphasis as the toddler grows and beings to understand more about the body. The diversity is well represented and my daughter would absolutely love the bright colors of all the illustrations. I received an advance review copy for free via Netgalley and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Such a perfect book for teaching littles aged 1-3 about their main body parts. My toddler really enjoyed counting his own fingers while I counted those in the book. The information is short enough to really dive into it with many expressions and movements. I do wish the foot was also specified to count each toe, but we had fun counting his own toes anyways. This is an excellent baby shower/first birthday gift!

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for this ARC! All opinions are my own.

This is a good book for toddlers and pre school age children .It shoes the parts of the body and explains what they do .I did feel some words weee too hard for little ones to understand .For the most part ,it was well written .I liked that the book showed diversity of the children in the book. I did think the illustrations were done very well.

This book is really cute. I love the artwork and the diversity. The content is perfect for toddlers but on the long side.

As a mom to a 2-year-old toddler, I would purchase for my little one.

I felt that it was engaging and educational. The illustrated movements of the body are simple and can easily be identified by a toddler. I can envision a toddler attempting to copy what the characters are doing. This is such a cute way to help toddlers learn other than watching a parent show them. It can also serve as a guide for parents if having trouble describing the body parts to their toddlers. I would buy this book for anyone with toddlers or even as a baby gift for when the child becomes a toddler.

A cute book for young children to learn basic body parts. The illustrations are very well done, but some of the writing could be a little more engaging.
