An easy to understand look into American presidential elections, perfect for an upcoming election. This breaks down the American presidency for students, specifically how presidents are elected, and some history behind elections. I thought the way the info was presented was easy to understand for kids and very user-friendly. I would say I wish it touched more on the problematic history of the electoral college. It does go into times that the popular vote was different, etc. and how it isn't perfect, but it doesn't touch on its relation to slaveholders. I know this is for kids, but it could still be done in a sensitive way to start kids understanding the troublesome legacy of slavery on the way we elect presidents. Overall though, a good introduction to elections for kids.
