This was a fun Halloween story. A little pumpkin is very excited to go out trick-or-treating. They learn they have to go with mom or dad, and they can’t go on their own. They have a little temper tantrum and being sent the corner leads to an adventure in a haunted house, where our little pumpkin will meet all sorts of friendly monsters. This book was fun, and kids are really going to like it. My biggest complaint is that it is overly long but the illustrations more than make up for the length of the story.

Little Orange Pumpkin is an adorable picture book for children set at Halloween. Little Orange Pumpkin wants to be more grown up and independent and wants to go out exploring on the night of Halloween. They think they're ready for it and when the night doesn't go as expected they realise how much their family loves and cares for them and how rules are often there for a reason - to keep us safe. This is a great book for children to remind them of how to keep safe at exciting times like Halloween.

Little Orange Pumpkin is so excited to go out exploring on Halloween night and thinks she's ready to do so by herself. Candy, exciting sights and sounds, it's all waiting for Little Orange Pumpkin. Charmingly illustrated and worded this will delight children as they read this Halloween tale with their parents. A nice little lesson for children about the importance of following the rules to ensure safety.

Cutest kids book for the season - Little Orange Pumpkin  
The book is about a little pumpkin who wants to go trick-or-treat by himself even though mamma and daddy pumpkin tell him that he is too little to go out by himself. 
Very very cute story and I loved reading it to my little one.

This is an adorable book about experiencing Halloween safely and learning to be independent when the time is right. Little pumpkin doesn't want to go trick or treating with his parents, steps into a haunted mansion and learns to be independent while still needing his parents. I would've preferred the story to end with Little pumpkin trick or treating with his parents instead of reading a halloween story. The illustrations were colourful and very detailed. This might be suited to more older children, due to the length of the story.

A bit on the wordy side for a children's book, but the illustrations were beautiful, and the Little Orange Pumpkin was absolutely adorable! Due to its length, I think it’s better suited for older kids, my 4 year old who’s usually very engaged during storytime, lost interest fairly quickly.

Cute little book with great timing since it is fall and Halloween is in about a month! I think any parent can relate to the tantrum Little Pumpkin had- haha! A nice change of pace to see a children’s book with a misbehaving (but realistic!) characteristic in the child’s character. I also enjoyed the images in this book. Great reminder that your family will love you no matter what and will always be there for you!

This is a cute Halloween-themed book about Little Orange Pumpkin who is very excited for Halloween and independence.
The messages are important and blended smoothly into the story.
Although this is aimed for younger children, the length of the story and paragraphs/text and the layers make it a lovely read for 5 yo and beyond.

Super cute story with great illustrations. I love a good pumpkin book. Heartwarming. I love the family element.

Little Pumpkin thinks she’s big enough to go out on her own for Halloween. But what happens when she does? Can she be a big pumpkin or realize she might still need mommy and daddy?

It’s a cute premise to the story. It teaches kids that they are never too big to not need their moms and dads. What I didn’t like about the book was it was a bit longer but seemed to be marketed to younger readers as some of the rhyming semantics portrayed. I also do wish there were more illustrations. It seemed they were too few for such a longer book. I thought some of the pages could have been broken up and added more illustrations in.

Overall it’s a cute read with a good message. I’d definitely buy the physical copy but I don’t think we’d read it again until my daughter was much older.

Adorable story! Well illustrated and just the right length for a bedtime story. My six year old son loved the book so much and has already asked to get his own copy in his Halloween gift basket. As a parent, I loved the message behind it in the end. Definitely looking forward to getting other books published by the author!

Recommended for those seeking a steadfast and adorable adventure. Overall, a mediocre read.

This is a Halloween Children's book that I read to my twin boys. I loved the messages in this book, and the story was super cute. I think some of the pages could be a little bit wordy for a children's book. I felt that I would have to pull my boys back to the book as I was reading the story. The pictures are super cute. This book was really cute and funny, and definitely gave me some spooky scary vibes! The little pumpkin was super adorable, and I absolutely feel in love with the illustrations that were filled with delicious details!

This book tells the reason why kids should listen to their parents and follow the rules. I also love the illustrations. The black cat and all the different monsters are a good read for Halloween! I will surely recommend this book for my students to read!

We love Halloween adventures and this book was perfect to get us in the spirit. We follow along with a little orange pumpkin who wants to go out and enjoy the Halloween adventures, she is sure she is ready. She soon discovers that she isn’t as ready as she thought she was. Unexpected scares and sights find little pumpkin along the way. She soon learns that with family and friends who love you that you can do anything. This book was so well written and tells how a young child may feel and act, which made the story relatable to my little ones. We loved the beautiful illustrations. So colorful and bright. I love how the story shows us that you can be brave in any situation. A great story for sharing. Your family will love sharing this spooky adventure together.

I absolutely loved Little Orange Pumpkin!! The illustrations were so detailed and colorful and filled with all types of Halloween creatures. The story follows Little Orange Pumpkin on a spooky adventure and includes lessons for children on listening to your parents.

This is the perfect book to read to children leading up to Halloween. I can't wait to purchase a copy for my nieces!
