Love all books written by Greg Laurie and this one is no exception. Well written and a wonderful telling of the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. Highly recommend this book.

I wish I had began this on December 1st! I really like Greg Laurie’s wisdom and insight and have truly loved reading this each day. 


Each day has a devotional and a prayer. It would make a great gift for your family to start next December 1st. It could become a family tradition to go through every year. I believe there are different physical copies.

“Heaven’s Light Breaking” is an advent devotional leading up from December 1st to Christmas Day. If you’ve ever seen, or heard, Greg Laurie speak, you can easily recognize his manner of speaking. And it translates into his writing. It sounds like he is speaking to you.

His devotionals range in a variety of topics, but that all focus on the Christmas story. And they are really good. I truly enjoyed this devotional and would probably read it again next year.
