Hot and sexy, but these two couldn't communicate if their lives depended on it. The sex is hot and the spice is spicy but the lack of forethought on both parties quickly becomes exhausting.

This book was so good! I loved Rex and Gwen they were such great characters. The banter was on point, the steam was perfect. Loved this second chance romance!

Cover needed work, plot was boring, and spice…was not spicy. I recommend a complete overhaul before you publish this.

The story starts with Rex and Gwen at a bar after a wedding they both attended. Lots of talk with double meaning. They know each other already but before you know it, they end up in the sack. After that, Gwen has a business meeting with a high-end client who’s son is hitting on her, in front of everybody! Very unprofessional and not done. Anyway, there’s a lot of swearing and lots of sexually loaded talk - even spanking and a bit of bondage - and assumptions, but beneath all the tough exterior there’s two people with a troubled childhood, a past together and some skeletons in the closet. Through flashbacks you find out about their past and why there’s an emotional wall behind them. I understand there’s a lot of hurt between them but the way they talked to each other and treated each other was often quite rough, rude and without respect. I would have liked more respect, more gentle loving care. But I think the bones of the book are good; there’s a real connection between Rex and Gwen. I think many people will love the way it is written. It has love, loss, hurt, betrayal, heartbreak, illness, family drama and second chances. And lots and lots of sex.

A fast paced second chance romance full of spice and agonisingly tantalising angst which I love so much. You wonder disappointed if you want all the feels! Give me more Rex please!

Fuller is kinda a new author to me. As, so far I have only read two books by them and I know they won’t be the only ones. I highly enjoyed reading this book. It was quite addicting, messy, angsty and I couldn’t put it down till I completed it..
