"Breaking the Bad Boy’s Rules" by Reese Ryan

This is a delightful contemporary romance set in the Dynasties: Willowvale series. Vaughn Reed, a wealthy playboy with a troubled past, inherits a ranch and is determined to restore it to its former glory. Allie Price, the only girl in her family's construction business, has had a crush on Vaughn for years. When they are brought together to work on the ranch, sparks fly, and they must navigate their mutual attraction while facing obstacles in their personal lives. Despite the challenges, their romance is sweet and swoony, with both characters finding strength in each other. While part of a series, this book can be read as a standalone and is recommended for fans of steamy contemporary romance.

Their White-Hot Christmas

This Book follows the story of Kira Lee, a life coach seeking refuge at a deserted dude ranch in Willowvale, and Paxton Hart, a real estate mogul who has inherited the ranch. Unbeknownst to Kira, Pax intends to sell the ranch, but their unexpected attraction complicates matters. As they navigate their feelings and the secrets between them, their journey to love unfolds against the backdrop of the beautiful scenery and quiet solitude of the ranch. With witty banter, steamy romance, and unexpected twists, this novel is a captivating read that shouldn't be missed.

Both stories in this two book bundle were very enjoyable. A nice blend of heat, heart and humor. Both sets of MC were likeable, and their stories were well written. Overall, a great duo. * I received an ARC of this book from Netgalley and this is my voluntary and honest review.

Two stories....

In this bundle. The theme that ties these two books together is renovating ranches.
A drummer is renovating his ranch with a friends little sister, who is now, well, hot. He's been burned before. Will he learn his lesson? Hint - no.
In the second book, a dude ranch gets a reno, but well, sparks fly.

* Reviewing Breaking the Bad Boy's Rules by Reese Ryan *

Temptation is alive and well! Reese Ryan is pulling out all the stops when she brings us the third hero in the Dynasties: Willowvale series and low and behold it's an aging rock star down on his luck! Vaughn is such a delight to get to know and really gave a genuinely ideal match up for Allie. I loved every minute of them! Heartfelt characters, equal parts angst and happiness and a sweet happily ever after.

I highly recommend this book as well as the rest of the series to anyone who enjoys a whole lot of drama mixed up with their romance.

Breaking the Bad Boy's Rules by Reese Ryan
When rock star drummer Vaughn inherits a dilapidated ranch after a ruined romance broke up his band, he’s determined to restore it to glory. Hiring his best friend’s talented sister Allie to redesign it proves tempting in unexpected ways. As sparks ignite, will Vaughn risk it all again for a chance at love?

I loved this story. Reese Ryan's big-hearted and compassionate view of the world really resonates with me. Vaughn and Allie are good people doing their best in challenging situations, and I enjoyed their journey from friends to lovers despite the obstacles in their path.

Their White-Hot Christmas by Jules Bennett
Life coach Kira's ranch vacation turns tempestuous when she meets handsome curmudgeon Paxton, the resort owner. Though they're initially at odds, Pax finds himself drawn to Kira's fiery spirit. Can her passion provide this Scrooge with a Christmas miracle?

Pax and Kira are expecting their relationship to be a holiday fling, so initially, they're not completely open with each other. This creates problems later when they develop deeper feelings. This story is full of opposites-attract and grumpy-sunshine vibes for readers who like those tropes.

Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

We are back in Willowvale Springs, Wyoming with another engaging story written by the Queen of “sexy, emotional stories”, Reese Ryan. In this series, she has teamed up with USA Today bestselling author Jules Bennett.
In this story we meet rocker Vaughn Reed who has inherited Hank Carson’s old resort. We also get to know Alejandra “Allie” Price, who is best friends with Andraya Walker (WORKING WITH HER CRUSH). I love the premise of this story that involves dating your best friend’s little sister. It’s not going to be easy, because Vaughn has” been there done that”! No tea, fans! You will have to read this entertaining story for yourself! Just know that working closely together with your old crush, is not easy.
I recommend BREAKING THE BAD BOYS RULES for your reading pleasure. It’s an excellent story that complements the Willowvale Springs series.

Both of these stories were very good. In the first story, Vaughn is a famous drummer who then inherited an resort ranch he worked at as a kid. The owner (Hank) had died but before he died he let the place get run down. Vaughn needed a break anyway, so he went to Willowvale Springs to check it out. It needed alot of work and he hired his old friends company to do the work. Allie was all grown up now and worked with her brothers and dad in their renovation company. She also did interior design, which her father really didn't see the point of. The plans she drew up blew Vaughn away as did her looks. But he had a motto to not get involved with his best friends sister, think about your career first and never fall in love. It wasn't too long before Allie and Vaughn were giving each other looks and finally gave in to their attraction. She wanted to keep it secret from her large and protective family (brothers especially) and though he wasn't happy, he went along with it. They were getting very serious when he had to go to London and the newspaper rags blew up something innocent into her cheating on him. She thought it was over, he knew it wasn't and that he was staying right where he was - with her.

The second story by Jules Bennett was also very good and sweet. Kira lost her condo due to a cheating landlord and came to the Dude Ranch where Pax had just inherited it from Hank. He had worked there as a kid and then gone on to do real estate deals and made him very rich. He had no intention of staying in town but the ranch needed quite a bit of work. Kira was a bubbly person and just drew him in. He helped her with a Christmas tree and then she invited him for Christmas. Eventually, he couldn't stay away and they acted on their attraction. All was going well until a ranch hand told her Pax was rich and was going on to Spain when the ranch was spiffed up. It hurt her feelings that he had lied to her and she was planning to leave as soon as she could. That made Pax realize that he wanted to stay in Willowvale Springs too and keep her with him always. He enlisted his friends and made it happen. A very sweet ending
