I was not ready for this series to end!
Beasts of War was the action-packed, monster-laden, heartwrenching finale I hoped it would be.
Our brave friends Koffi and Ekon face off against Fedu once again, exploring more of the gorgeous world of Eshoza, as they track allies on their way to the Kusonga Plains. But, the splendor is taking its toll on Koffi and Ekon can't outrun his past forever.
I thoroughly enjoyed this series and can't wait to see what Ayana does next.
This sneak peak was exactly what I needed to get me excited for to read the new book. Great read! Thank NetGalley
This sampler is getting me geeked for the book. I enjoyed the first two books, so I can't wait to finish the final book.
A wonderful excerpt on #Netgalley! I cannot wait to finish reading this beautifully written work and the trilogy. Having read both of the first two in the series, I was impressed by what this sneak peak revealed. Ayana Gray is such an inspiration in how she uses African mythology in her writing! I hope to see much more from her in the future.
This sneak peek was so good! Makes me so excited for Beasts of War. One of my most anticipated reads of the year.
An intriguing sneak peek into the third and final book of the Beasts of Prey trilogy, where we meet new characters with fight and spirit, and find Koffi in a dream with Fedu, the God of Death, before finding herself fleeing for her life again.
I absolutely loved the first title Beasts of Prey!
I’m not sure how I missed book two Beasts of Ruin but I’m upset I can’t get it in Kindle edition.
Beasts of War is the final installment in the Beasts of Prey trilogy. And this little sneak peek only made me hungrier!
The few chapters I read I can tell this is going to be a phenomenal story.
I love how Grays writing pulls you in and holds you captive.
Her characters are rich and powerful I just love following their journey.
An incredible action packed YA novel. I can’t wait for the full story!
Thank You NetGalley and G.P. Putnam's Sons Books for Young Readers for your generosity and gifting me a copy of this amazing eARC!
A great early look at this fab YA tale! Can't wait 'til the whole book is published.
Thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the ARC.
Opinions are mine.
This sneak peek definitely left me wanting more! It gave us just enough foreboding to keep me on the edge of my seat. Looking forward to reading the entire novel!
I can’t wait for this book to come out! I read the first two and loved them! Anxiously awaiting the resolution of this riveting saga!
I read a preview version of this novel, which only contains a short section from the beginning of the book. It was enough to whet my appetite for the complete novel when it is published. From the preview, it will easily equal the quality of the first two books in the series.
I need the whole book now! I am obsessed with these characters, the writing and what is going to happen next. Release date needs to come faster.
Oh this sneak peek was such a teaser. I’ve read the other two books and I can’t wait for this book to release. I am in love this series.
This sneak peek makes me ravenous for the final book of this series. She’s done a wonderful job of story telling and making us anxious for the end of a masterpiece.
January can't come no faster!!!!! This sneak peek wasn't enough for me! I need more! I already know this book is going to be one of the best books I'm gonna ready in 2024 says alot!
This was so good! I can't wait till this is officially out! Ayana blew it out the park with this one!
What a fantastic sampler!! There is no doubt in my mind that Beasts of War is going to be an epic conclusion to this story. The sampler immediately pulled me in. I love the characters and Ayana Gray’s writing style. I can’t wait to read the rest of it and see what happens next!
Thank you to Ayana Gray, Penguin Group, and Netgalley for the opportunity to read the sampler in exchange for honest feedback.
In this quick sample, we are introduced to some new characters that Koffi hasn’t figured out how they connect to her. She also speaks with Fedu and has to convince herself that she’s nothing like him.
In another time and another place, things are coming to a head: Akande is resorting to desperate tactics to earn the money he needs for marriage—with devastating results, as the sort of power he has is not the sort of power he can control. Meanwhile, Koffi is learning something about her own power that she's not sure she likes...and she may have to learn to use it sooner rather than later.
These samples chapters are for the final installment in the Beasts of Prey trilogy. It's obvious that the characters—Koffi in particular—have some serious history behind them, and though at least from the initial chapters it's easy to follow the events as though this were a standalone, it's also clear that this is best served as a book read after the other two books in the trilogy. There's rich worldbuilding here, and magic and power and the sound of battle on the horizon. This has all the promise of a trilogy conclusion that won't disappoint.
Thanks to the author and publisher for providing a free preview through NetGalley.
