This was my first books from Paula Quinn. I enjoyed the story from the Scottish isle, I love being taken back in time to another place.
Stayed up way too late finishing the book, I didn’t want the story to end..
I need to go back and catch up on the rest of the family stories.

This was a powerful story of the strength of loss and the healing powers of love. Lachlan has lost everything and become a lone wolf in that loss. But through a chance of hope, and the actions taken to fulfill that hope, he is surprised when Mailie digs into his heart and begins to heal those wounds. Together they slowly find purpose in each other and surround themselves in love and laughter. Thru many twists and upheavals, life is tested and bested. Ending with the true love and happiness that should have always been. I enjoyed their tale.

This was such a good book. I love how the female main character was able to change the male main character. The love they share was so cute to watch form. I really enjoyed the storyline and all the characters. This is not like most books I read, which was also really nice. I didn't know how the ending would turn out, which was really nice.
