This is a very cool book. While I'm not sure about the facts because I've never really looked into it, I know my daughter will enjoy this book. I love the photos in the book as well as how the book is put together. The fact sections are also good information.

DICTIONARY OF DINOSAURS by Dr. Matthew G. Baron is a great starter book for young kids to learn about dinosaurs. For my dino-loving 9-year-old, it was a bit too basic to hold his attention, so I would recommend this for younger kids to read with parents or newer/early readers.

It is a very informative book on the topic. A great book for dinosaur enthusiasts. Would be nicer if the illustrations were a bit more realistic.

Why all children are mad about dinosaurs is beyond me but my daughter is no exception. This book is a kind of encyclopaedia on dinosaurs, so not something one would normally read from cover to cover. Not my kid though. We have to check each and every animal in the book and she can't get enough of them. The illustrations are cool and she likes the man-dinosaur height comparison graphics in particular.

Pros: I am always on the lookout for new books to gift the kids in my life, and dinosaur books are dependably a hit! I thought the illustrations throughout this book were fantastic--I loved the creativity with color. I appreciate books with fun facts, charts, and graphics, and this book has all of the above. I think kids could read this book cover to cover or use it as a reference book to look up information on their favorite dinosaurs.

Cons: None! I think dinosaur-loving kids will love this book.

This was easy to read and full of interesting facts about the A-Z of dinosaurs and I loved the illustrations.
