Thank you Netgalley and Publisher for this amazing advance copy ♥️♥️
"The Woman on the Ledge" is a mind-blowing psychological thriller that had me hooked from the very first page! The author's skillful storytelling expertly blurs the lines between truth and lies, keeping me guessing until the very end. I loved how the protagonist, Tate, an actress and temp worker, finds herself entangled in a murder investigation after trying to help a stranger on the terrace. The twists and turns were expertly paced, and I found myself questioning everything and everyone! Even Tate's lawyer doubts her story, adding to the suspense. This book is a masterclass in psychological manipulation, and I devoured every word. If you're looking for a thrilling ride that will keep you up all night, look no further than "The Woman on the Ledge”.

PUMPED about this one. I really enjoyed reading this - it was super quick and engaging. Couldn't put it down!

This is going to be one of the best books of 2024. This thriller rocked my world as I turned each page and delved deeper into this fast paced mystery. With an unreliable narrator anything can happen….and it will

If you’re starting to think that all thrillers are the same, I’d invite you to pick up THE WOMAN ON THE LEDGE. This is a story where nothing is as it seems and readers are left in the dark, grappling to put the intricate pieces together.
We meet Tate Kinsella as she is arrested for the murder of a woman who fell from the roof terrace of a 25-story bank in London. It becomes obvious to Tate’s lawyer and the authorities that Tate has secrets preventing them from reaching the truth.
Ruth Mancini has crafted an incredibly clever story that doesn’t feel formulaic and kept me on my toes in the best way. Not only could I not put this book down, the story also tackles some important themes that make this thriller stand out among the crowd.
READ THIS IF YOU:
Want a story that will keep you reading long past bedtime
Love when a complex plot comes full circle
Appreciate stories of clever women having their moment
RATING: 4.5/5 (rounded up to 5 stars)

This book was fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed the journey from start to finish. This book gave me vibes of Ocean's 8 but instead of a heist to rob a gala of their riches, you are taken on a heist of justice. The reader is faced with an unreliable narrator and it's hard to tell the difference between truth and lies. Right when you think you know where something is going to go, everything you thought to be true is turned upside down and you see events from a new lens. I can't wait for this book to be released in a couple of weeks so others can experience the genius of this story. I know I will definitely be giving this to my crime and law-loving sister.

A very twisty thriller! I was definitely surprised by the turn of events and that does not happen very often! The characters were well-written and the storyline was easy to follow as it jumped back and forth between the past and the present.

You know when you finish an amazing psychological thriller that your heart is just pumping like crazy? That’s how I’m feeling right now! Whew!!! What an amazing trip this book took me through and surprises that I never saw coming!
We know a woman has fallen to her death from a very tall building. Tate is the woman that says she was with her. But did Tate kill her? Did the woman jump to her death killing herself instead? If not Tate, then, who then and what the hell is actually going on?
This is all I’m going to tell you about this book because this book is misleading. It will take you down lanes that you never see coming. What I thought this book was going to be about was nothing of the sort. What a marvelous surprise this was.
This is all I can tell you, but what I must tell you is that this book is about to come out and you must read it if you love psychological suspense!
Huge massive thanks to HarperCollins, NetGalley, and Ruth Mancini! Publication date January 16, 2024
5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I received a complimentary copy of this book "The Woman on the Ledge" and all opinions expressed are my own. This book will keep you guessing and on the edge of your seat. I looked forward to reading it each day. Overall suspenseful and just when you thought you had it figured out... the story changes.

Alittle slow but worth it - read like a Hitchcock story which I loved. The beginning was quite tense (thus the title) but stick with it ... you'll be glad you did. Great cover, too.

Wow. Wow wow wow wowowowo wow.
The synopsis for this book is weird and had me questioning how it was going to be written, but PLEASE don't let it fool you. I thought it might be a weird POV type thing, but it's totally normal. It alternates from first person and other chapters written in third person about other characters, but it wasn't weird at all and I barely even noticed it.
The opening chapter is basically what the synopsis says: Tate meets a women who wants to jump off a balcony and she talks her down. The action is instant as the second chapter skips forward to Tate talking to a lawyer. It was so fast paced and I never wanted to put it down.
I'm having a hard time putting into words how much I loved this book. This author has to be a mensa level genius with how she wrote this book; I was jaw dropped shocked multiple times, and then it all came together perfectly? How.
Not only did I love the twists and turns, but I loved the characters. One of the chapters actually made me cry... like what. Definitely in my top five reads of the year; honestly, it might be my favorite.
READ IT.

Wow! What an amazing book! I read this book on a long flight and it kept me entertained. This was my first book by Ruth Mancini so I didn’t know what to expect. I loved the timeline changes and multiple POV. I imagine this book was hard to write as some points in the story are told by different POV at different times and the story had to be consistent. I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be reading more of Ruth Mancini’s books.

When I saw I was accepted to read an ARC of this book, I got so excited! I had not read anything by Ruth Mancini, but I had only heard great and twisty things!
Tate Kinsella, an actress that is having trouble finding work in the field, is at her flat on a Monday morning in December. She hears banging on her doors and realizes the police are there to arrest her on suspicion of murder that has taken place where she works as a temp for a French bank.
As events start to unfold, you start to realize that lies are being told from every angle, and you don’t know who to trust, till the ultimate conclusion.
The characters are very likable. The chapters are short. The story is wild. I found this book to be flawless.
By halfway, you may think you know what’s happening, but I’m telling you. You don’t. You don’t have a clue. And when all is revealed, you will be SHOCKED.
This was a thriller unlike any I’ve read in a long time, and when I say that, I mean that it’s easily one of my favorite reads of 2023.
Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest opinion!

This was my for book by this author and I can’t wait to check out more. The twists and turns in the this book kept me on the edge of my seat but it was still able to tackle harder topics in a heartfelt way. I will be going through this author’s backlog as soon as possible.

this is a fantastic psychological thriller! i was a little worried by the title because it reminded me of the woman in the window or on the train or wherever a woman may be, but it was so gripping. i loved the story and the characters, the writing was engaging, plus part of it was set at a christmas party, so it was a perfect seasonal read! i just wish there was a little less recapping. highly recommend!
tw: sexual abuse, grooming, suicide
thanks to netgalley and harper perennial for my advance copy of the woman on the ledge by ruth mancini. all opinions are my own.

Told in 6 parts, with a great ending! A woman falls to her death and Tate Kinsella, an actress is arrested for the woman's murder. The story unfolds with past and present. A lot of secrets are revealed with surprising twists and turns. Tate's lawyer doesn't seem to believe she is innocent.
"Why do some people just breeze through life, getting everything" Why do some people have to fight so hard just to stay sane? Just to stay alive?"
In the ending, his eyes had wandered across the courtroom from the dock toward us and landed on me, met mine. He looked at me blankly and I could read nothing there, but I wonder and wonder if there's a part of him that recognized me, is still wondering where he knows me from, who I am.
Unsettling Vibes, Lies and Revenge! 3.5 stars!
Thanks to NetGalley for the advanced copy! This book is set to release 1/15/24

4.5🌟
Truth, lies and revenge! Everything you could want in a thriller!
After a woman falls to her death from a rooftop terrace all eyes turn to Tate Kinsella. But why?
Well let’s see…
she was at the building when the woman fell.✅
Her story keeps changing.✅
And her motive is classic. ✅
So, what’s the problem you ask?
Well how much of Tate’s story can you really believe? What really happened on that rooftop?
A well thought out, original and cleverly crafted thriller. The author walks you down one path, but don’t get too comfortable, because everything is about to drastically change!
Think you have the whole story figured out? Not so fast!🤣
Sit back and enjoy the ride!🤓📕
Thank you to NetGalley and Harper Perennial Paperbacks

Okay, I almost gave up on The Woman on the Ledge by Ruth Mancini. I thought I had it all figured out within the first few chapters and I don’t like it when a book lets me down because I think I know what’s going to play out.
But I was wrong.
I’m so glad I didn’t give up because this book was totally unexpected and the plot was so well-crafted that I ended up loving this story.
When Tate is brought into the police station for questions about a woman’s death, it’s hard to imagine that she isn’t guilty. After all, she’s having an affair with the woman’s husband and was at the scene of the crime. What other possible explanation can there be? The way Tate explains everything, it’s almost guaranteed that she’s guilty of something. But what? And more importantly, why?
Synopsis:
Obsession. Intrigue. Revenge. Whose secrets are you keeping? And why?
A woman falls to her death from a London bank’s twenty-fifth-floor roof terrace. You’re arrested for her murder. You tell the police that you had only met the victim the previous night at your office party. She was threatening to jump down from the roof, but you had talked her down.
You’ve got nothing to do with this tragedy. You’re clearly being framed. So why do the police keep picking holes in your story? Even your lawyer doesn’t seem to believe you.
It soon becomes obvious that you’re keeping secrets. But who are you trying to protect? And why? Obsession. Intrigue. Revenge.
Get ready for one of the most twisty-turny novels you will read this year.
Really great book! I would love to see this as a movie or a series. Coming out on January 16.

𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧'𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐭. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧.
I read a ton of thrillers, so it takes a lot to shock me, but this book did exactly that. I couldn't read fast enough to figure out where this story was going.
The premise began simply enough. A woman falls to her death from the 25th floor roof terrace of a London high rise bank. Tate, a temp at the bank, tells police that she had only met the victim the previous night at her office party. She was threatening to jump from the roof, but Tate had talked her down. But there are holes in her story, and the police arrest her. Even her lawyer appears skeptical about her recollection of events.
Tate finally decides to open up to her lawyer, and that's where this already crazy ride got even more intense. This was hands down one of the best thrillers I've read this year. The suspense, drama, revenge, and betrayal were all so well done, but at the heart of the story, there was a very sobering theme that resonated with me, and I feel sure it will with other readers as well.
A massive thank you to NetGalley and Harper Perennial for the early read. This book will publish January 16, 2024.

Well I didn't expect that plot twist!! Whew! Good book! This book had a bit of everything! It had suspense, Action, intrigue, mystery, murder, revenge, a great who done it, great plot twist, and some crazy twists and turns! The storyline was very interesting and kept me glued to my Kindle!! I definitely recommend reading this book as it was well worth reading!
