I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish. It beautifully captures the journey of self-love, providing a perfect representation of what it truly means to embrace and care for oneself. The emotions of longing, heartbreak, and healing felt so real that I was completely absorbed in every moment. I especially appreciated the portrayal of healthy friendships; the protagonist’s circle of friends felt genuine and supportive, adding such depth to the story. Additionally, the book does a wonderful job raising autism awareness in a respectful and enlightening way, making it an even more meaningful read. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a heartwarming and impactful romance!
If you are looking for a book to make you believe in second chances and love after loss, this book will not disappoint.
Kennedy Ryan has done it again! This Could Be Us is a wonderful follow up to Before I Let Go. I loved reading Soledad’s story and I know you will, too.
Kennedy Ryan has become one of my favorite romance authors. I love the stories she writes and it is so refreshing to see black love in print. I have fallen in love with the Skyland series. It has made me laugh and cry. I loved the uncut raw and real emotion that was written in this book. I am looking forward to the next book!
I absolutely could not put this book down! I really enjoyed the characters and as a mom of an autistic child, I appreciated the real life relations
Kennedy Ryan does it again! Love seeing the journey of Soledad through this book! To see her stand up and find herself was amazing. It’s so important that we pour into ourselves and love ourselves first so that our other relationships can grow. Judah being brought into her life and us seeing how he takes care of his boys and adjusts based on their needs gives us a perspective on autism and the different spectrums. I found it so informative and loved how it was incorporated into this book. Seeing their relationship develop and finally blossom was one of the highlights of this book for me. I also love continuing to read about the friendship between Soledad, Yasmin, and Hendrix.
I am loving this series! I didn’t quite love this one as much as book 1, but still thoroughly enjoyed it! Kennedy is and has always been one of my favorite authors. This series brings so much emotion and of course the delicious drama you’ve come to expect from KR. I listened to this one on audio and the narration was top notch as well. Can’t wait for book 3 next year!!

this book was so good!! Sol and Judah!!
Sol’s journey was so beautiful. she went through some hard times but I think she came out on the other side even better. dating herself and falling in love with herself first was amazing and a really good decision I believe. I can see why her followers thought so as well. shoot, maybe I’ll steal a few of her ideas lol.
Judah is a GOOD man. he’s probably my fave KR mmc so far. the way he loved and cared for his sons was soooo amazing. the way he cared for and loved on Sol?! whew. his patience and kindness…yeah. he’s really HIM.
shoutout to Tremaine + Kent.
middle finger to Edward.

thank you to NetGalley for an eARC of this book 🩷 even though I didn’t finish before the release date lol
side note: that strawberry-lemon prosecco sangria and those ooey-gooey brownies are what I’d like to try the most from the recipes!
A beautifully written story of strength, love, and second chances. I was hooked from the beginning! I just found it so relatable to real life, the highs and lows of love. How the lows only make you stronger and sometimes having to experience that makes you find yourself.
Soledad had their perfect life — except, somehow, that her perfect husband turned out to be a criminal and a crook and tried to take her down with him. Desperate to keep a roof over her and her children’s head, she tries so hard not to fall for Judah, the lead investigator — but knows she has to be brave and wildly reinvent her life. Sweet, soulful, and hot
Kennedy Ryan can do no wrong. I love this found family within this series and absolutely adored this book!
Over the past couple of years Kennedy Ryan has quickly moved up to one of my all time favorite authors. She has an amazing way of capturing the emotional day to day struggles of life and putting them into words. I love her character development and have always felt they each are my friends by the end of her books. This book has hit all my favorites in her books and is easily a 5 star read.
The emotional journey that the reader is taken on through Soledad's story is second to none. The way we see Soledad learn to stand on her own and yet also learn how to lean on Judah for help is the perfect way to show how an independent women can find happiness. There are many points of family dynamic/drama, vulnerability, and friendship that we see Soledad grow from and Judah has a lot to get through, too.
I highly recommend picking this book up. It is written at an easy going pace and by the end should bring a warm smile to your face.
All of the opinions throughout this review are my own. I am extremely grateful to Forever Publishing for the opportunity to read a digital copy of this outstanding book through Netgalley.
Kennedy Ryan has a way with words! I loved the second book in this series and cannot wait to read the third book. I laughed and had some tears.
This, THIS is how you write a New York Times bestseller!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Five stars all around for what will be my favorite book of the year! Highly recommend!
Loved this cover and storyline. I hear this is a series. Kenny Ryan is now an auto buy author for me. I got a physical copy of this book to add to my library.
I am forever a Kennedy Ryan Fan. The way Kennedy writes my soul. She captivates her audience.
Anything else for language is so beautifully written. But it's not so intricate that you can't enjoy it for just the story it is.
Justice for Sol!!!! I am utterly rocked and riveted by this book.
Does a perfect romance exist? Yes. Its this one!
I cannot express how much I love this book and how many times I have already reread it. It's a love story on so many levels: from getting through heartbreak, beautiful friendships between women, motherhood, to discovering loving yourself, to opening back up to love.
The writing like anything by Kennedy Ryan is beautiful. This is the type of romance that stays with you.
I was a bit disappointed in this one. I loved how independent and strong she became, but in the end, I didn't feel like she completely opened herself up to new love...by not marrying or living together, how do you get to that point. And maybe it was just me feeling that way.
I cannot get over how amazingly powerful this book is. Soledad rises with grace and dignity as she bounces back from an unimaginable heartbreak, finding out her husband was not who she thought he was. She's left with picking up the pieces for herself and her girls. She knows it's not going to be easy but she will not give up on them or herself. As she is on her quest to start a new life, she forms a friendship, and then feelings, for the one man considered off-limits. Judah knew from the moment he met Soledad she was someone special but at the time, she was married to the man he was working hard to bring down due to the worst business decicions one can make in the financial realm.
I could not stop reading this book. There were so many powerful themes that jumped out at me = strength, resillience, healing, family, friends and love.
I was hooked at the beginning of this story. Soldedad’s drama with her husband made me want to keep reading. After he went to jail though, the story kind of fell apart for me. There was really nothing to the romance with Judah. And I hated the influencer storyline so much.
