Amazing!! Spicy, just like her other books, but so well done! Loved the dynamic of Judah and his boys and his ex. Loved the neurodivergent rep! Loved the character growth and realistic responses to incredibly hard times that Soledad and her girls showed. Loved this one even more than book 1 and it has me bouncing in anticipation for book 3/Hendrix's story!!!

This was pretty dull unfortunately and just not my vibe, which makes sense because book one wasn’t my favorite from Ryan as well. There was no development with the relationship and nothing that moved the story along.

I love starting the year with a winner. Kennedy Ryan is that author for me. The one who makes me feel too much. I’d read any book by her knowing I’d be fully emotionally invested. This one was no exception.

I love how freakin strong her women are. Soledad strength and how she was learning how to love and put herself first was so inspiring. Judah was just as sweet and caring as all of Kennedy’s heroes. I loved seeing him with Soledad and how he’d always put her priorities first. I loved seeing him with his kids and how he was such an amazing caring father. The book was just so beautiful and informational.

I love that Kennedy always includes important topics in her romances, but I guess in this one it kinda overshadowed the romance? Don’t get me wrong I love when she does that. It always makes me more invested and makes the story feel more emotional. It’s just that with this one it kinda started to feel more like a women fiction? And this is not exactly a bad thing. I still loved the book and was totally invested in the story. I just wanted more romantic moments between them? Also, I wanted to see more of how the thing with her daughter was resolved. Overall, This felt like a great, sensible, teaching me lessons read for the start of the year. I loved before I let go more (even when it left me emotionally drained), but this was still a good read.

It took me awhile to get into this but once I did, I really enjoyed it. I have not read anything by this author previously but I would again after enjoying this one. As a bonus- the cover is gorgeous!

This Could Be Us was singular in the way it made me feel. Not only did Soledad and her journey rock me to the core with how authentic it was but it had me grappling with what I would do if I were in her shoes. And I'm not sure I would have half the grace she had dealing with Edward and his stunts.

The one thing I love about this book above the romance between Sol and Judah is the love Sol developed and nurtured within herself for herself. Self-love was this book's biggest theme, and I like the pause it put on the development between Judah and Sol. As well as how Judah supported her on the path to self-love and was willing to wait for her.

Overall, this is a 4.5-star book and I can't wait to see what Kennedy has in store for Hendrix.

I love anything that KR writes and this was no different. But tbh, it felt less like a romance and more of a self discovery which I loved - Edward was a little bitch and I hate him with all my being but I did feel he was made more of a villain than he needed to be and Judah seemed too perfect. It was a little too good to be true at times but overall, Loved the book and can't wait for more

I absolutely loved everything about this! This book follows Soledad as she is an on a journey to find herself after a turn of events with her bum of a husband. Then enter Judah, a beautiful man who wants to TAKE care of business aka Soledad. This is a story that is more than just romance, it’s about finding yourself after giving so much to everyone and leaving your cup barely filled for yourself. Ryan did a phenomenal job showcasing this in Soledad that I’m sure so many women experience. I really loved the influencer aspect and how Ryan made sure to depict a content creator in a respectful way.

I loved this book and this is a must read in 2024!

This book was excellent. It discussed pain, sisterhood, being a single parent, and find oneself. It was great seeing the main character realize that while she wants her family to be happy, she to deserves happiness.

Romance is undeniably Ms. Ryan's forte. This love narrative is a harmonious blend of humor, humility, romance, protection, tenderness, and vulnerability, capable of thawing even the coldest heart. In stark contrast to "Before I Let Go" (a potential point of comparison), where Yasmin exhibits unwavering determination, Soledad embodies a softer and more uncertain demeanor. While Yasmin grapples with grief through control, Soledad grapples with the lack of control in her own life.

Kennedy's prowess shines brightest in her depiction of the internal monologues of her protagonists. The depth of emotion woven into her words effortlessly ties knots around our hearts. Judah and Soledad emerge as kindred spirits destined to cross paths, irrespective of circumstances. Their love story, portrayed with remarkable coherence, resonates profoundly, making it clear that they were meant for each other.

Every word is crafted beautifully in this narrative. Ms. Kennedy skillfully composes each word with meticulous care, as though she is delicately tending to our hearts with consideration. The story unfolds as if the author recognizes the reader's need for a moment of healing from past traumas.

The book proved to be a breath of fresh air. I've expressed my aversion to #strugglelove before, and this narrative was both timely and precisely what I needed. My only complaint revolves around the desire for more insight into the drama between Edward and CalPot; I suspect his mother holds some critical information. Questions linger about Gerald and his involvement. While I understand the story isn't centered on Edward, a broader exploration would have been intriguing. Nevertheless, I appreciate that the narrative doesn't dwell excessively on him.

The sisterhood portrayed between Yas, Hen, and Sol, forming their own family, is truly inspiring. Equally captivating is the dynamic between Judah, Tremaine, and Kent — showcasing one of the most mature co-parenting partnerships I've ever encountered in literature. Their relationship offers hope to those grappling with challenges in finding common ground with their co-parents.

Overall, this was an outstanding read, leaving me eager to delve into Hendrix's story.

When I saw this book available on Netgalley I jumped on it because Before I Let Go was an immediate favorite last year and I couldn’t wait to see what the story was between Soledad and Edward. I had every intention of savoring this book but once it started I couldn’t put it down.

One of my favorite things about Kennedy Ryan’s writing is how real and complex her characters are. Sure Edward is a shithead but he was her husband and the father of Sols children which makes everything that unfolds between them so unbearable even as a reader. Emotions are high when reading this book the good and the bad and I love being swept away by a story.

Judah is loving and patient and seeing such a great representation of coparenting was beautiful. I love that as difficult as their parenting journey was Judah and his ex wife always put their kids first. Watching Sol and Judah’s love story was wonderful not only because of everything Sol had be through but seeing how deserving Judah was to have this love and support and to build this future.

As always the friendship is why shines the most in this series and I cannot wait for Hendrix book.

🌸 I loved the first book in this series – Before I Let Go. It was one of the most powerful & emotional books about a marriage I’ve ever read. It was easily one of my top reads last year and I couldn’t wait to read the next book!

🌺 This Could Be Us (featuring Soledad this time) was also a great book, but I didn’t find it quite as emotionally compelling as Yasmen and Josiah’s story. This story is about self-love and making tough decisions. It is about stepping up and not settling for less than you deserve. It read more like a second chance romance, and it was great from that perspective, but it lacked some of the depth I got from the first book. I’m not saying this book wasn’t good (it was!), I just didn’t feel like it delved deeply enough to evoke those raw, powerful emotions I experienced from the first book.

🌸 I appreciated the autism rep. I would have liked more of the story to include the autistic boys, but I understand the story wasn’t only about them. I also appreciated that a divorced couple was depicted as great co-parents who still cared deeply for each other. I don’t see that often and I was pleasantly surprised to read it in this book.

🌸 I loved that the foods mentioned in the story are included as recipes in the back of the book!

🌺 I find it interesting that I likely would have gushed over this book much more if I hadn’t read Before I Let Go. I hate comparisons, but it is almost impossible not to do it. This is still a fantastic book and I highly recommend it. Now I can’t wait for book 3!

Kennedy Ryan has a gift of being able to write emotional books with amazing character arcs that just suck you in.

In This Could Be With Us we get Soledad’s journey after her life is turned upside down. I loved seeing her stand on her own two feet and take what she needed from life. Her growth in this book was amazing and extremely relatable. Judah was so patient, supportive and consistent with her and I loved seeing her realize the kind of treatment she deserves.

This book was also full of healthy relationships. Judah’s relationship with his ex-wife. The way that they still care about each other and work together for their kids was nice to see. I liked the conversations about being neurodivergent through the lenses of both adulthood and childhood. Soledad’s open relationships with her daughters was refreshing and seeing the support system she had in Yasmen and Hendrix was heartwarming.

I wish we could have seen a bit more development of Soledad and Judah’s relationship. Their romance itself wasn’t as big a part of the book as I would have liked but otherwise an amazing book.

Kennedy Ryan is one of my all-time favorite romance authors and I say that as someone who isn’t a huge romance fan!
I loved this novel although I think I enjoyed the first in the series just a bit more. A couple parts of this novel felt far-fetched to me, including Soledad’s rapid Influencer growth, but hey, I was willing to suspend my disbelief for a good story. I love how Ryan’s stories always include so much heart, yet also the drama and tea we all want in a good love story. Great autism rep and self-love rep here. I can’t wait for the third installment in the Skyland series and all the Rich Auntie vibes with Hendrix’s story!!!

Loved it! Kennedy Ryan always manages to catch my attention especially when she writes about real world problems. I loved how she handled the boy’s autism, and while I hope to never have to navigate divorce or prison, those were handled beautifully too. Soledad has to pull her life together because of someone else’s actions. Her girls were hit with changes that would make any of us want to crawl into our beds and cover our heads. Soledad took charge of her life, and I loved that she was focused on herself and the girls. I also loved when she decided that regardless of the optics she was gonna allow herself to have love too.

When she tells Hendrix & Yasmin about Judah in his spectacles… I burst out laughing. I loved that Aaron reached out to Soladad the first time they meet. I loved that Judah was focused on his boys, but he wanted passion and love too. The families coming together at the end was heartwarming in the best way.

“Your skin is summer night and your kiss is all I want.” I loved that Soladad’s mother’s words resonated so deeply. Don’t we all just want someone to love and kiss.

I love Kennedy Ryan's writing. This book is full of healing, self-rediscovering and self-love. I absolutely love to follow mature people to find their soulmate and true love. Soledad and Judah characters are 🥰❤️‍🔥💥.

This book is also about motherhood, womanhood, family love and self love. Loved it so much!

Diving into 'This Could Be Us' after 'Before I Let Go' was a genuine delight! Soledad's resilience and both main characters heartwarming dedication to their children created a beautifully layered narrative.
The mature vibe, the surprisingly likable ex, and the unwavering support from friends, emphasizing the power of sisterhood, added depth to the storyline. While the romance took a back seat to Soledad's journey of self-discovery, the moments where Judah couldn't take his eyes off her and the tight-knit group's camaraderie brought the right amount of charm.
However, I'll be honest; 'Before I Let Go' tugged at my heartstrings more. It had this raw emotional intensity that resonated with me, making me shed a few more tears than 'This Could Be Us.' I'll admit, there were moments when the plot felt a bit slow, and some parts bordered on feeling a bit bored. Nonetheless, Kennedy Ryan's storytelling shines once again, seamlessly weaving together characters you can't help but root for.
Already itching for the next installment, especially with the promise of Hendrix taking center stage. Can't wait to dive back into this captivating world

Kennedy Ryan.. you did it again. I’m completely floored by this author’s ability to create masterpiece after masterpiece... This book touches on the following themes:

It is so amazing when you can read a romance novel that is so layered for a 40 year old character. The maturity of the characters is evident through life experiences and the effectiveness of the character development is exceptional in this book. This author made it easy to root for Soledad and Josiah. They were made for each other and every page leading up to them connecting proved just that.

The time, research, and personal care this author puts into character development and difficult topics such as autism is evident in this book. The detail provided accurate representation that did great justice to love and sacrifices made by parents of children facing challenges. I am a huge fan of Kennedy Ryan and was sitting in tip toed expectation of this book and it did not disappoint.

As a fan of Kennedy Ryan's catalogue of books, this book wasn't as emotionally stressful and gut wrenching as others but the aspect of finding yourself and learning self-love was unmatched in this book. This book was an inspiring and empowering slow burn that everyone should read. Kennedy you outdid yourself as always!!!!
