I loved everything about Sandcastle Inn written in Irene Hannon's delightful signature style! 5 stars!

Sandcastle Inn is a wonderfully charming story with the restoration of an Inn on the Oregon coast at its center. Marketing professional Vienna Price and Veterinarian Matt Quinn are richly drawn characters whose initial meetup is not the stuff of dreams, but later sparks are flying. Hannon still sits the throne as queen of the classic slow burn romance.

Hope Harbor has become one of my favorite places to visit with its lovely seaside setting complete with coffee shop, taco stand and Sweet Dreams Bakery. There are the usual variety of unique characters including Charlie the taco vendor and Floyd and Gladys too. I love that Vienna's eccentric mom Bev runs the Book Nook and is well loved within her community. Bev's beliefs that she'd rather "spend her money in travel and theater and experiences than a pile of bricks..." preferring to read books and make jewelry. She is so completely opposite of her saving, planning and strategizing daughter it was fun to watch the two together.

The bottom line is, Sandcastle Inn is pure reading enjoyment! I'm thrilled to hear there will be another Hope Harbor book to look forward in the future. It can't happen soon enough for a return visit to this idyllic destination. I appreciate Revell Publishers making a copy of Sandcastle Inn available for review. All thoughts and opinions are my very own.

A sweet, tranquil love story between a hero tortured by loss and guilt and a heroine at a crossroads, “Sandcastle Inn”, by Irene Hannon, is about grief, healing and hope, and takes place in the beautiful coastal town of Hope Harbor.
I liked Vienna’s and Matt slow beginning and enjoyed reading about the circumstances that brought them together.
Their first meeting and mutual impressions are really enjoyable to read.
The author creates such an atmosphere that you really want to be immersed in this wonderful fictional small-town and meet their inhabitants.
I was intrigued by the secrets in Matt’s life and appreciated that they were only revealed later in the story. The unsociable facet is appealing.
Matt’s tragic past interferes with his life and makes him embark in feelings of guilt and even self-flagellation.
Vienna is also an interesting lead, a skilled and full of energy woman. I enjoyed watching how loving her relationship with his mother still is, despite their different personalities and all her complaints.
The talent she brings to Sandcastle Inn project is amazing.
There’s a second couple story and I really enjoyed how both stories combined. Paige and Andrew are admirable characters and their recent experience is a test of resilience and courage.
I felt the main romantic couple could use a few more scenes showing the attraction, chemistry, and love.

Another visit to Hope Harbor, a plot that has the emotions of having second.chances. A plot that catches you from the beginning, of their lives, emotions and struggles that keep you to the end.
Was well written, I enjoyed and recommend.

Sandcastle Inn is an emotional and heartwarming tale of second chances. Secrets, heartache, regret, damaged relationships. All of these are issues our characters are dealing with. But with a few breaks, thought provoking words of advice (we can always count on Charley for that!), as well as a willingness to approach the future with open-mindedness and taking a few chances, we see the community of Hope Harbor work its magic on Vienna and Matt, and on Paige and Andrew. The book was touching and spellbinding. I loved this return to Hope Harbor!

I love being back in Hope Harbor, Charlie and his fish tacos, and our pair of seagulls, and the beautiful seashore.

Charlie seems to always be in the know and at the right place at the right time. This time we have a young woman who has lost her corporate job and visiting her Mom, then we have a man who is going to help his sister restore her disrepair inn, and then a couple really down on their luck.

The author has this group of people come together, and we are there to see how they all come together, and the part Charlie plays.

We also have a Mom, she wants a relationship with her daughter, but boy does she have a lot of surprises for her.

In the end there are decisions to be made, and some healing, along with some sweet romance!

As usual I love my visits to Hope Harbor, and they never disappoint!

I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher
