Avery McClain inherits a little cabin in Montana and after a nasty divorce, a change of pace is just what she needs. She is determined to give her 3-year-old a classic country Christmas and then decide if she wants to sell or keep the property. Immediately after moving, her two neighbors try to win her over for their own agendas. They want the land, and apparently will do whatever it takes to get it.
Judson "females only have value if they can make my babies" Ford takes the route of befriending Avery's 3 year old which Avery swoons over because she always wanted her kid to have a good dad. This really bothered me because this grown man was really obsessed with holding this kid he doesn't even know any time he saw her, and wouldn't give her back to Avery even though Avery was clearly concerned but trying to be nice. Like maybe this seemed sweet in book form to some people but I think a single man being fixated with a kid he doesn't know in real life would be so creepy. He's so bitter that his now-deceased wife had her own hopes and dreams and didn't want to have kids, "how could she do that to me!!!"
Let's do a quick recap. Judson tries to schmooze this lady so she'll sell her his land, then he realizes hey! She's apparently a functional baby maker she can give me two things I want! Yikes on the play 'udson!
Were we just supposed to gloss over the fact that this man installed security cameras around her house- arranged the appointment without asking her, and gave himself access to them without ever telling her?
Like at first this was cute Christmas country vibes but it is hard to enjoy a romance story when the love interest is written as a predator that we're supposed to empathize with.
ARC given for honest review via Netgalley.

Wonderful story! Judson and Avery had a few ups and downs, but they definitely ended UP. Brenna was the sweetest and even the pup was a part of things. The whole crew including Hodge made it even more fun!

Christmas With a Cowboy by Pam Mantovani recounts the story of Avery McClain and her first few months living in the cabin in Montana she had inherited from her uncle. She had done the refurbishing long distance and she and her daughter, Brenna, were just arriving. It was as beautiful as she remembered. She couldn’t wait...until she discovered that several of the nearby ranchers wanted her land and it seemed like they would do anything to get it. Seven weeks into her adventure she ran into a cowboy named Judson Ford in the grocery story. Brenna immediately took to him and he seemed like a nice guy. He was beyond helpful with things at the cabin and when things started happening, he was right there to help, even arranging for security cameras to be installed. She was falling in love and she told her friend Londyn that she intended to sleep with him...a big step after her contentious divorce.
Avery was independent and competent. She was also beautiful and loving. The perfect match for Judson, who had been hurt before and carried some baggage. He made her heart melt with how gentle and kind he was with Brenna. He had been made to be a father. Her mistrust ran deep, though, and even a hint of betrayal sent her into a tailspin. This was more than a romance, it was an awakening of each of two people to how good a relationship could be, and building a life with another person. Avery now made friends, a new experience for her and she loved it. Brenna had fallen in love with Judson’s doggie and horsies and it looked like they may have a future. In a bizarre twist, all that changed. It was a well-written romance with sympathetic characters and a very appealing setting.
I was invited to read a free e-ARC of Christmas With a Cowboy by BelleBooks Inc, through Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are mine. #Netgalley #BelleBooksInc #PamMantovani #ChristmasWithACowboy

This was such a cute love story . It really brought out the meaning of the Christmas season . The love story between Avery and Judson really displays the meaning of unconditional love . The way that Judson adored Avery’s daughter really showed a lot about his character . If you are looking for an easy to read Christmas love story this is the book for you .

I loved this book! It was very well written and pulled on my heart strings! I finished this book in one sitting! I highly recommend it if you want a cozy Christmas story!

This was my first book by Pam Mantivani and I just loved it. I feel if you are a Jill Shalvis or Robyn Carr fan you will love hers as well.
After a horrible divorce Avery and her daughter move to Montana, to the cabin her late uncle left her.
Little did she know there were two ranchers fighting over buying her land that isn’t even for sale.
This book is a great novel for people who love small town, Christmas hallmark type books(which who doesn’t love them)

The story is short and fast-paced. It is a book with instant attraction between the main characters. Due to everything happening in such a short timeline, the characters actions felt too rushed and unrealistic (getting engaged only a month after meeting). From reading, I wasn't feeling the chemistry between them.
It is understandable that if someone is looking for a Meet-cute, fast-paced romance, with a Christmas setting, then this might be a book for them.
Some of the actions of the male main character were concerning (red flags), but due to the attraction that the main character felt for him, it was all forgiven. He was not the villain, but the male main character had creepy stalker characteristics.
Overall, this book was not for me, but if you like stories about:
- Divorced mothers
- Cowboy romance
- Christmas vibes
- Found family
- Small towns
- Horses
- Family reconciliation
Then you will find all that in this book

The synopsis sounded like the perfect Christmas read. Unfortunately, I couldn't get past a lot of the typos and the flow of the writing. DNF'd at 10%

I really enjoyed this story!
I thought that it was a wonderful feel-good romance with a twist
The storyline was really good and the book was well planned out.
The writing style was great and it all worked together really well for me.
Easy to read and thoroughly enjoyable.
It is 4 stars from me for this one - highly recommended!

Thank you to NetGally and the Author for letting me read this ARC! It was such a cute book and a great little read. Almost an in between of a novella and regular book. There was some little bit of spice, but I thought the plot was really interesting and cute!

After a nasty divorce, Avery decides to move to Montana with her young daughter to live in the cabin left to her by her uncle. She has great memories of her uncle and his house and wants her daughter to experience a simple and beautiful Christmas.
Not long after arriving in Montana, Avery meets Judson, a ranch owner, and Avery's daughter, Breanna, takes an instant liking to him and his dog. There is also another ranch owner, Daniel, who seems to want to get closer to Avery, but perhaps only because he wants her land.
This is such a romantic story. I loved the holiday theme and the community setting. The main characters are amazing. Breanna is adorable with the way she says Judson's name and how much she loves the animals on the ranch. Even the secondary characters are extremely likeable and add so much to the story, especially Judson's father. There is a bit of a mystery as to who is responsible for the vandalism at Avery's home and land. I have to admit I went back and forth right along with Avery about who the vandal was!
If you love holiday-themed books, this is a book you need to add to your collection. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will be reading the others in the series. Plus, who can resist the beautiful cover. Isn't it so pretty?

This is such a heartwarming Christmas story.Judson and Avery are very likable characters. Brenna was adorable. There’s plenty of scenes in the book to put you in the Christmas spirit. There’s a lot of chemistry between Judson and Avery. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced free copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

This is my first time reading a Pam Mantovani novel, and I have to say I just loved lt! I will definitely be reading her back catalog.
It ticked all the boxes for a perfect holiday story.
Cozy, heartwarming, romance, tension, and a little spice.
And to tie it all up, there's even a mystery to figure out.
The description of the small town life was picture perfect as they decorated the streets and houses . The author's character building skills are excellent as she created a town of people I actually cared about, along with the three main Characters.
She writes with a great understanding of how a relationship can evolve, add in a little conflict and some Christmas magic and you have a touching holiday novel that you can't put down
.
Thank you to Belle Bridge books and Netgally for an advanced copy.

Avery McClain and her 3-year-old daughter are moving to Montana. She is excited to spend Christmas with her daughter at the cabin her uncle left her at his death. She works from home so it's a perfect place to spend the next few months and enjoy Christmas. It seems though that 2 ranchers want her land. She is currently not interested in selling her land.
Judson Ford meets Avery and her daughter in the grocery store and it seems her daughter takes a liking to him. Judson does let her know he wants to purchase her property. As they spend time together, they become closer; but someone is making phone calls and other vandalism at her property.
Story is well written held my attention and of course had a HEA.

This is a nice cute Christmas read.
As soon as her divorce papers are signed Avery heads to Montana. To the house and land left to her by her uncle.
There she finds two ranchers both wanting her land. One of said ranchers Judson Ford is handsome and the attraction sizzles between them.
This ticks all the requisite cute boxes. Horsies, doggies and the cutest little girl ever. Avery finds friends, acceptance and a whole community plus love.
But someone wants her out of the way.
I enjoyed this it’s a nice quick Christmas read.
The only thing I wasn’t keen on was Avery jumping to the wrong conclusions. And the resulting fallout. I understand her lack of trust in men after her husband but I felt Judson deserved a fairer shot. But this is a small moan and doesn’t spoil the book.
I voluntarily read a review copy kindly provided by the publisher and NetGalley.

I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.
Two men are after her land and one of them she is falling for however one of them may be messing with her and her home.
A community comes together to welcome Avery and her daughter and Judson will do anything to protect Avery them.
Great read and love this author!
