I really like the way the illustrations combine modern time things with ancient time to explain norse myths. Such a clever way to do so. My nephews and me enjoy reading it and would love to read more from you.
This fifth volume presents comic adaptations of Norse myths, infused with irreverence and sarcasm—ideal for those who enjoy a lighthearted take on mythology. It also serves as an introduction for those new to Norse mythology.
So I skipped some and arrived on the 5th book. Since the author said that there's no certain way to read Norse Mythology, am fine here. The first story is about Thor's hammer Mjolnir, and how it became Thor's. Then the second story told us about human hierarchy according to the Norse. It was interesting to read and know, moreover in comic strips, is easier to understand.
This is a great and enjoyable illustrated continuation of an enjoyable interpretation of Norse mythology. It provides a great foundation for understanding how it came about and additional stories from Norse mythology.
Tiny Myths Comics: Norse Edition is a delightful exploration of Norse mythology in a compact and charming format. As a fan of Norse mythology, I thoroughly enjoyed the creative interpretation of classic tales presented in this book. The art is not only visually appealing but also adorable, adding a whimsical touch to the mythical narratives. What sets this book apart is its accessibility, making it a perfect introduction to Norse mythology for a younger audience. The combination of concise storytelling and endearing illustrations makes Tiny Myths Comics: Norse Edition a fun and engaging read that successfully breathes new life into age-old myths, ensuring that the rich tapestry of Norse folklore continues to captivate readers of all ages.
Well chosen stories. It was nice to see ones I haven't read a thousand times before. The art is adorable. I really enjoyed it and look forward to finding more in this series.

This book was fantastic! If you have a child who you want to get interested in mythology and you want to do it gently and make the child feel like it was their own decision – give them this book. It is beautiful, it is fun, the drawings are super nice, and the text is perfect.
This comic is fantastic! I'm interested in Norse mythology anyway so when I saw this I just had to request it (despite it starting with part 14 of the story as it's midway through the series!) As I was already aware of the myths mentioned it was brilliant to see them drawn in this style with modern meme type comedy added in and it was genuinely funny! I'll definitely try and find the rest of the Norse myths issues and look into what other mythology has been covered by this creator.
This little book gave me the giggles. Yes, it was informative, and yes, you really do learn about Norse mythology. But the pictures are really cute and the language is clever and snarky. I need to see how many of the rest of this series I can find.
Thank you NetGalley for introducing me to these
Absolutely loved the illustrations and the way the whole story had fun trying to make it both ancient and modern. Funnily enough, the bit I actually liked the least was the narration of the story in every panel and the fact that every page was just the same layout with no variety - having so much narration in every single panel broke the story up a bit too much for my liking, but I do think this is a great way of introducing younger children to the Norse myths.
This was such a fun, relaxing read. I quite enjoyed sharing it with my son and we laughed. It had the cutest art, I loved it. I'm also a fan of Thor so this was enjoyed all the more. Definitely would recommend.
This series is so fun! It takes Norse Myths and makes them accessible and fun for readers who don't know much about them, including pronounciation guides. The stories are short enough that they aren't overwhelming, but give enough information to ensure that readers aren't confused. It is reccommended for ages 14+ but there was nothing in this particular edition that would make me hesitant to reccommend it to slighlty younger readers. I will definitely consider using this in future lessons.
This would be a cute book to have to for a classroom library. The illustrations are so cute and the characters just make you want to squich them!!!
This book was adorable. The little drawings were cute and I loved the way the story was written. Will have to read the other ones.
This book was informative however had the vocabulary of a teenager with the mannerisms of a child not properly being suitable for either
Short and sweet. Love the sarcasm and humour in each panel and each story was informative.
Just wish it had been a bit longer. I had no idea this was part of a longer series so I came in half way through a story and wasn't sure how it all tired together.
