I am always excited when Pamela Kelley has a new book. Her writing style and likeable characters always leave me wanting to read more!
Set in Chatham, this book brings me back to my childhood summers on the Cape. I love the way Pamela uses local foods, restaurants and beaches to bring to life the beautiful location.
Hannah, a NY based author returns home for the summer to spend time with her sister Sara and Aunt Maddie following the death of their mother.
Sara is a stay-at-home mother of 4 boys who greatly misses her librarian job and longs to get back into the world of books. She takes a part time job at a bookstore and her unappreciative husband finally realizes how much she does for them.
The sisters spend the summer enjoying the beach, making new friends and reigniting love. Makes me long for summers on the Cape!
I received an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley and highly recommend it.

Pamela Kelley's The Seaside Sisters is a heartwarming story that captures the transformative power of a single summer. As bestselling author Hannah seeks inspiration in her aunt's oceanfront house, she not only grapples with her own creative struggles but also reconnects with her older sister, Sara. The story unfolds against the picturesque backdrop of Chatham, Cape Cod, blending both family dynamics and romance. The author weaves together the sisters' journeys, and immerses readers in the magic of books and the beach.

First, I want to thank St. Martin's Publishing Group and NetGalley for the advance copy of The Seaside Sisters. Second, I want to thank Pamela Kelley for making me appreciate Cape Cod, a place I've called home for 38 yrs. I so enjoyed Hannah's story of going back home and spending time with her family after her mother's passing and finding love and new friendships.. The way the characters are written is like they're already friends. The description of the Chatham Bars Inn transports one to the front lawn in summer. It's a fun, seaside novel which makes me yearn for summer.

3.5 stars! The Seaside Sisters is the perfect beach read, a fun and lighthearted read. Hannah is a writer in Brooklyn and her sister Sara is a mom of 4 boys and former librarian. After their mother passes away, Hannah goes to be with Sara and their aunt for the summer in Cape Cod. Sara ends up getting a job at a bookstore while Hannah focuses on writing her second novel. I loved all the book talk. I wasn’t crazy about most of the male characters, but overall it was a very cozy read.

I received an advanced copy from netgalley in exchange for a review and opinions are my own.

This talented author has written a cannot put down story. Curl up in a comfy chair beside a blazing fireplace… grab a cup of steaming herbal tea and become lost in Cape Cod. A bookstore, an author, family and friends. The recipe for a delightful fun fiction novel. I liked this book. I really liked this book. I would give this book more than five stars. Linear timeline. Third person. No details that are too much information. Just a sweet romance that is a quick read. I cannot wait for more from this author. I hope there is a part two for these characters. Thanks Netgalley.

Just downloaded this book today from Netgalley. I finished this book in one day . I couldn’t put it down . I fell and broke a rib and needed a book to keep me intrigued. I love all beach stories and this one made me feel happy . I loved the story of Hannah, her sister Sara, and her Aunt Maddie. I loved hearing about the Cape and all the places they visited. The descriptive passages were extremely well written. I could picture them in my mind even though I have never been to the cape. I would recommend this book to my friends.

Pamela Kelley is one of my fave authors. She delivers when she writes! I really enjoyed reading her summer novel released last year (Bookshop by the Bay) and the This Nantucket Beach Plum Cove series; however, I felt like this didn’t deliver. Although, I’m disappointed, I will patiently wait for another (new) title for this author.
