I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. A story of friends working together. I liked the bright illustrations but didn't get the yoga story.

My daughter and I adored this cute children's book, which is about Mula the tiger and his friend Fly who help Ana the snake. The story is very sweet, the text is easy to read, and the graphics are colourful and beautiful. This is a lovely book which children will love. My daughter really enjoyed practicing the calming exercises and the yoga poses in the book. I highly recommend this wonderful book!

Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book.

Mula and the Lovesick Snake brings us back to the jungle with Mula the tiger and Fly the fly. Mula and Fly encounter a snake, Ana, who has lost her true love. They teach her some yoga to help her tap into her inner wisdom, and then they embark on a journey to reunite Ana with her true love.

This story is really cute with an inspiring message for the young ones - always listen to your own inner guidance. Just like in the other books of this series, the illustrations are stunning - colorful, vibrant, and beautiful. I highly recommend this whole series for young kids to learn yogic wisdom in a very relatable and accessible way.

Thank you to Sweet Cherry Publishing for gifting my family with an ARC to review. All opinions are our own. We loved it!

I have read all of the previous books in this series about jungle animals learning important lessons through practicing yoga. This story follows Mula the Tiger (the main character in the other books too I believe) and a snake that they meet in the jungle who is searching for their "love". Using yoga techniques, Mula calms down the snake and they find that the snake was in love with its reflection.

I appreciate the yoga teaching and general conversation around self-love. However, this book felt a little forced into that narrative more so than the others in this series. I think a child would enjoy it. But I think it could have been written more thoughtfully and creatively.
