This is a good book. The two main characters are Holly and Chace. They have known each other all their lives. They were engaged but Holly broke it up when Chace wouldn’t get out of the military service. Years later Holly best friend, Chace’s sister, Lyss’ husband was in the hospital in Germany. Holly and Chace arrived at Lyss’ house to take care of her twin girls. As they took care of the twins, they both realized that there was still an attraction. Chace asked Holly to give them a chance while they took care of the twins, she said ok. They fell in love once again.

A festive filled treat that had me feeling all the feels. A second chance at love and you can tell they are meant to be together but can they overcome the obstacles in their way and what about the adorable kids will they see their father again. My heart shattered for the kids, it would be so hard not having mum or dad around Christmas time but Holly and Chace will make sure it's special.

A sweet and simple story about 2 exes who are thrown together at Christmas. Will they jump at the chance to play happy family, or are they just setting themselves up for failure?

Enjoyed this one - very much Hallmark movie vibes.

Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC.

Can exes work together to watch their godchildren, a set of rambunctious 7 year olds, during the Christmas season and NOT give into all the feels? A fun, light, and Steamy ROMCOM… not over the top. Throw in some creative ways to use mistletoe, a cup of hot chocolate and sit back and enjoy the Christmas shenanigans!

Thank you NetGalley and Publisher Inkubator Books for my copy of A Christmas Changes Everything by Isabelle Grace. I have not received any rewards or compensation for this review and therefore all views and opinions are of my own, the reviewer.

In summary: A second chance romance set in small town Hickory Ridge.

Book number 5 in the Hickory Ridge series by Isabelle Grace, first book I have read by this author. In this book, I enjoyed the way that Chace and Holly come together while enacting their god parent duties to their twin nieces. Both main characters have a lot of history together which is evident that they both should not have parted in the first instance. Meaning, the chemistry was well incorporated with Chace and Holly. I liked the Christmas backdrop which felt like an ideal place to set the main character’s reunion.
The writing was great, I did not feel that the characters struggled to come together as I had said earlier, the chemistry was well written and both characters compliment each other.
I recommend this book and intent to check out the author’s other works in Hickory Ridge.

This was a great read! It was a quick, sweet romance that reminded me of a Hallmark movie! I enjoyed getting to know the characters and would recommend this book to a friend! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for a copy of this arc in exchange for my honest review.

Feel-good story on how people step up to help when asked to, despite perhaps not wanting to when they realise who else is involved. Cosy up and enjoy this Christmas story.

This is an amazing Christmas book. Cuddle up by the fire, drinking hot cocoa kinda cozy. While the ending is a bit rushed and could have been expended a bit more - the rest of the novel is amazing. It sucks you right in and gives you all the Christmas feels.

This one took a bit to get into for me. I had a hard time with chemistry between the two for the first half of the book. The storyline is a slow burn second chance romance as Chace and Holly take on a temporary role of watching his twin nieces. As the story progressed, I loved the relationship they began to build as they worked together to watch the girls. This was a sweet little romance that is the perfect taste for this Christmas season.

I loved this book! I devoured it in only a few sittings and wish there was more to read. The story line was paced very well and the characters were easy to love!

A second chance romance with a Christmas theme has you hooked. Chace is back to help take care of his nieces, while Holly is already there. The time they spend together and the family vibes they create have you melting.

A Christmas Changes Everything is the fifth book in the Hickory Ridge series, now a full-length novel and was previously published as a novella Mistletoe and Holly.

Holly and Chace are God parents to Chace's twin nieces. Chace heads to his sisters to help care for the twins when he gets a call that his sister's husband was injured overseas, and she needs his help. Chace agrees to help Holly who is already taking care of the girls while she is away.

Holly and Chace used to be a couple but after she lost her brother, she gave Chace an ultimatum. Either choose his somewhat dangerous job or her. Holly has let her fear of losing those she loves to run her life. Since they broke off the engagement, neither has had another person in their life. Still in love with the other they do their best to put the girls first, but will they be able to keep their feelings in check or will mistletoe help bring them back together.

This was a fun Christmas story. It is lighthearted and perfect for quick afternoon read.

I thought this was a cute love story. Its definitely a second chance at love story with characters who are laid back and easy to follow where you feel like you are just catching up with friends. I liked Holly and Kit the sisters are to fun and I hope Kit's story will come soon cause I can see it now she is going to be a pistol. Holly was super cautious when it came to Chace but not in the annoying way but more so that she didn't want to over do laying her heart back on the line. She was fun the fun aunt with Emme and Wren and those two kept everyone on the toes for sure. Chace was one of those guys you see what you get an he's not going to hold back where you stand with him. He was such a big push over when it came to his nieces it had me laughing because it was so relatable. Overall this book was a fun read, however there is sex and strong language so may not be suitable for all.

Second chance romances are the best! Holly broke off her engagement to Chace following the death of her military brother. They are god parents to his sister’s darling little girls. When his military brother-in-law is seriously injured, Chace drops everything to help Holly care for the girls so his sister can go to her husband. Knowing it is going to be hard to be around Holly as they do mundane, typical life to keep the girls from realizing their dad’s situation is serious. Holly reason for breaking their engagement, previously, was for the very reason Chace needs to return and help. She lost her brother to the war and knew she could not lose Chace, too. Holly let him go rather than deal with loss again. Well, Chace is going to do whatever it takes to bring Holly back into his life permanently. Their time together as they navigate finding their way back together is hard, yet beautiful. Although A Christmas Changes Everything is a stand-alone romance, it is part of the enjoyable, sweet Hickory Ridge series. All of the books in the series are worth your time to see love bloom and grow!

Sweet second chance Christmas story. After eight years apart Chase and Holly are reunited after having to care for their godchildren. Once they put aside old hurts and miscommunications they found what they lost so long ago. What a great wintertime read. Thank you NetGalley for this free advanced copy. Honestly I loved it.
Chace and Holly dated for years and were even engaged before Holly broke their engagement. Chace was in the military and Holly couldn't even fanthom the idea of him getting hurt. Years later, her bestfriend and his sister needs their help to babysit her twins, and so they will have to work together while trying to not fall in love again.
I love that is set on Christmas, I love Chace and him wanting to get her back with this "Mistletoe operation" of his. It is a fun-cozy read with lovely characters and no toxicity whatsoever. It's the perfect heart warming read!

You know me I love a Christmas/holiday story. Add that to it being part of a series I really liked and I'm a happy camper. A Christmas Changes Everything was once a short novella that was part of a boxset. Since I didn't read the before I don't know how much it changed now that it's filled out some.

The idea of the story is a good one. I like the fact that these two know each other and once had a relationship. A second change romance works smoothly in this story. Sometimes you find that the story works hard to put the couple together again but not with this one. The author was smart to have an emergency that cause the two to have to work together.

At the very first meeting of these two I have to admit that I didn't care for Holly. She came off mean. Thankfully you understand her pretty quickly and figure out she lashes out but doesn't mean what she says. She's very hurt about the past and I will say I don't blame her. I get she fell in love with military man, but she figured out pretty quickly that she couldn't handle that kind of life. The worry was too much for her.

At the time she wanted him to get out he could, and you understand why. In fact, I don't have a problem with his decisions. The fact that they broke up was the right thing to do. He deserved to have the life he wanted just like her.

I'm not going to say more because you really should read it for yourself and see both sides of their feelings. The sweet part is that they really do love each other and have all the time they weren't together. Time together shows them what they really want.

I love the nieces and how Chance who is this tough can handle everything guy gets tired out by two seven-year-olds. Love it. Most of us have been there and you don't understand it until it happens to you. As whole this is a very enjoyable story that I really liked.

This sweet holiday romance got me into the festive spirit! It was a quick read about a second chance romance for Holly and Chase, who'd loved each other since high school, were previously engaged, but have been apart for 8 years. They come together again while taking care of their goddaughters in the weeks leading up to Christmas. While this book wasn't a favorite, it definitely had some butterfly moments and was a nice kick off to my holiday reading list.

This is such a lovely romantic festive read. Holly McCade and Chace Dutton are called upon to look after their goddaughters when their father is injured by an IED and their mother rushes to be by his side. However Holly and Chace have history. She broke off their engagement eight years previously……. They obviously still have feelings for each other and looking after two seven year olds gives them an insight into what life would have been like but can they have a second chance? I loved the interaction between the two main characters, the cheekiness of their goddaughters but most importantly how their deep love for each other played out. I read this in one day! Thank you to Rosewood Books and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this in exchange for an honest review.
