I love a good second chance romance and this definitely hit the spot. Mike and Amanda charmed be from the start and then broke my heart. I loved how devoted he was to her, even when she kept trying to push him away. And he managed to do it and still not appear weak or needy. He's such a perfect bbf.

I really enjoyed the Burlesque theme woven throughout, very unique. I am looking forward to reading other books in the series, too.

This was a quick read but honestly not my cup of tea. The story wasn't paced well enough for my liking and felt like it very quickly went from a lot of background information to everything in the present happening at once. I like the idea of the story and feel like it has potential.

This story was a good read when I wanted to change things up after reading so many fantasy books. I enjoyed the interactions, especially between the 2 main characters. The smut scenes were, uhm, unexpected? But in a good way lol I wouldn’t say it’s a favorite but I’d read the rest of the series out of curiosity .

I enjoyed the book. Very steamy and lots of sex scenes. They story along with it is very interesting and keeps the pages turning. After reading it, I would love to see a Burlesque Show! I am looking forward to reading the other characters stories! Thanks #Netgalley for an enjoyable read!

Such a fun and steamy read! I thoroughly enjoyed how detailed the author was when writing the burlesque scenes. I know the author drew on her own experiences, which shows in the amazing vivid details. This story has a very cute second-chance romance trope. There was quite a bit of spice with some elements of BDSM as well. However, it was very tastefully done. There were times in the beginning when it felt like I was reading two different stories at the same time. It just seemed like a lot was going on that didn’t necessarily fit within the same storyline. However, by the end of the story, everything seemed to come back together. Overall, a good spicy read.

Steamy novella about a small town girl who left her boyfriend behind when she suddenly moved to the big city, Chicago. Twelve years later, she returns as part as a burlesque troupe scheduled to perform in a bar he co-owns. A quick read and the characters were better developed than I expected them to be, even if the story was a tad predictable.

Burlesque River is a hot, sizzling, redemption second chance romance book. This book drew me in from chapter one along with captivating my attention throughout the whole book. The character development of Mike and Amanda was amazingly beautiful throughout the books storyline. These two main characters were well written and had a great connection. Mike and Amanda have been through ups along with downs but their love for each other outweighs all of the drama.
I definitely recommend this book and their love story is amazing along with beautiful.
