This was a very sweet romance l fell in love with. I received this book as an ARC and l absolutely loved it 100%. If you are looking for a sweet, uplifting rural romance, you will definitely love this read. This read is book three of the Foxmore Village. Prior to this book, l read the other two and let me tell you the author does not disappoint. I loved the two books before this one, and l loved this one just as much if not more. Who doesn't love a grump x sunshine trope ( definitely not me!!). Damon is part of band and unfortunately his band-mate dies which causes him to relocate in-search for peace and quietness to recover from such a loss were as Ceri is a new teacher who is trying to get by. I love Ceri so much, in many ways l felt like l could relate to her. She was bubbly, sweet, beautiful and just a ray of sunshine. This was a beautifully written romantic story that had some bittersweet moments. I was engrossed in this page turner very much . I highly recommend this book and the whole series.

This is a sweet romance. I enjoyed reading about the gardens. Ceri is such a sweet soul. My heart went out to Damon amid his suffering. It’s a beautiful tale. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced free copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I received a copy from the publisher through Net Galley.

I have never read a book by Lilac Mills before so was unsure what to expect but I absolutely loved it and was engrossed after the first few pages.

This book is part of The Foxmore Village series but can easily be read as a standalone.

The characters were brilliant with my favourite being Mrs Moxley and Damon. The setting was beautiful and I really felt like I was there with Ceri in Damons beautiful garden.

A beautiful romantic story in a stunning setting with some bittersweet moments. A definite five star read.

Thanks to Netgalley, Canelo and Lilac Mills for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

Another great instalment from foxmore village.
This time among the beautiful Welsh scenery is a house in Foxmore that looks very unloved, Damon has inherited it from his late grandmother and is using it as an escape. During a wedding in the next field he unexpectedly meets Ceri. Their lives become in twined, but how is it going to work out for them? With misunderstandings, paparazzi and conclusions being wrongly made have they a future together in the village they love.
Fabulous can’t wait to visit again

Another heartwarming and funny Foxmore book :)

It finally dawned on me, after reading at least a dozen books by Lilac Mills, what I like about her books: the characters being average people. Not billionaires, not wedding or event planners (oh, the cringeworthy cliché of all of those), but people you could meet in the street.

All of these characters put together with kindness and care, being a scaredy-cat myself, I do understand the self-doubt that Ceri is struggling with. How that can be there in the background for quite a long time.
The fact that things are not always black and white, like the annoying student still doing a pretty good job with an assignment.

And of course it was nice seeing Mrs. Moxley again, being her honest and straightforward self. Perhaps she might be the next main character in the Foxmore series?

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for a copy of the book.
