I loved the idea of this book, but it wasn't quite festive enough to be a true holiday read for me, and at the same time the thriller aspect of it fell a bit flat as well. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the advance copy.

What a fantastic read! I had an audiobook version, and absolutely LOVED IT!
Each character of the murder club are based off the 12 days of Christmas, and there is so much to love about the chaos that is going to take place.
Best weekend read ever. I enjoyed the narrator, the characters, and the flow of the book.

A group of friends routinely get together to host murder mystery weekends, and this year is a Christmas themed adventure. Still reeling from the disappearance of one of their friends, everyone is a little off this year, but they hope to still have fun. Charlie thinks that the friends are still upset at her over a misunderstanding, and the mystery starts off on the wrong foot with one of the friends being murdered. Panic increases as another member of the group is murdered. Charlie races around trying to figure out who is murdering everyone, only to learn it was all from a twisted incident from all of their pasts. A decent murder mystery with a holiday twist. A fun narrator definitely added to the enjoyment of the mystery.

This book is a mix of all the great mystery elements. I liked the set up - a murder mystery evening, Christmas themed with costumes and parts created to bring college friends together - but what happens next is a thriller with all the puns included in the song, 12 days of Christmas.
There are a lot of characters in this book but the narrator Ella Lynch did a great job disguising them from each other.
I think this is underrated and can’t wait to press this book more during this Christmas season!

lots of characters and storylines, but it was still an interesting read. It kept me from DNFing which I've been doing a lot lately. id read more from this author.

The Twelve Days of Murder by Andreina Cordani will keep you guessing until the final page.
While some sections seemed to drag on and others felt too fast, in general it had a good pace. Each character felt adequately rounded out, and each had enough motication to be considered as a suspect.
Overall, this is an enjoyable read with a compelling plot.
4/5⭐️
Thank you NetGalley for a copy of this audiobook in return for an honest review.

Thank you to Dreamscape Media and Andreina Cordani for providing a digital ARC of this novel through NetGalley!
I listened to this on Audiobook. The narrator was great; however, I usually listen while I'm doing housework or other things and this did not mix well with this story. I think I would have enjoyed this one more if I read the book instead of listened, solely for the fact that there were a lot of characters and it was difficult to keep track as I listened.
The premise of the story was thrilling and I think it would be a thrilling movie to watch as well. I loved the mystery of it all and it felt like a real life game of Clue so it was right up my alley.
Overall, I was grateful to have the opportunity to listen to this book!

This was fine although quite slow per moments. I really liked the narrators and how she switched accents and tone. It made easy to identify who was speaking. The final reveal was fun and unexpected, I liked it too!

Thank you Dreamscape Media for accepting my request to read and review of The Twelve Days of Murder on NetGalley.
Narrator: Ella Lynch
Stars: 2.5
The cover of The Twelve Days of Murder is synonymous with bad narration. The narrator has a place; I saw children's books. (She has a kitten and puppy calming and fun voice.) Sadly, I could not take the book seriously.
I forged through and found as the book went on the story was convoluted. Between the murder mystery weekend and an actual murder read by a juvenile sounding giddy girl and the lack of likeable characters this was difficult to finish.

This is a dual timeline thriller. I thought it had The Family Game vibes. The friends are getting together for a murder mystery. Things do not go as planned.
Many thanks to Net Galley and Dreamscape Media for an audio copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I went into this book without really reading the synopsis, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised! I really liked the tension and the setting throughout the book. And Then There Were None is one of my favorite stories, so I really liked this sort of retelling. I will admit, I didn't really care for the audiobook narrator at times, but the story itself still kept me entertained.

l'll admit, I'm not a huge audiobook girly, but I listened to this one back around Christmas, and I really enjoyed it! The story kept me guessing and on my toes, and I think the narrator did a wonderful job of bringing the story to life! The one downside was that I did not like most of the characters, so I wasn't too invested in what was happening to them. It was still fun to listen too though, and would definitely recommend for people who enjoyed And Then There Were None

I went in not really knowing what I expect with this book and ended up really liking it. It was a fun re-interpretation of Agatha Christie's "Then There Were None" and I really enjoyed the characters and the tension and the story.

Extremely hard for me to get into before of the narrator. I need infliction and intent, I couldn’t stand the monotony of it. But the actually story was good and held my attention but I had to replay quite a bit to pick up when I started to drift off from the voice.

This was a fun holiday read. Quite fast paced and the book kept me guess til the end. The story is told in two time lines, the present with the murders happening at the house, and the past where something happened, something traumatizing. The mystery of both timelines were good and had my full attention. I do feel I was more invested in what happened in the past. I felt this would explain so much on what was happening in the present and it of course it did.
The read was quite fast and that was good for getting to the end to know what happened. The fast pace did keep me from completely investing in the characters although I did quite like the main character. She was broken but learning to be strong. The story was her journey to finding strength and forgiveness.
I quite liked the read and do look forward to reading more from this author.

This book was very boring and forgetful. I could not get into and found myself not wanting to read it at all. I love holiday books and was looking forward to the thriller but this was not it.

As promised by the title, this was a great, cozy, winter-ey, mystery. I thought it was the perfect thing to have on in the background as I baked some cookies and waited for the snow to fall. I didn't have to think too hard, and that's exactly what I wanted. Nice voice narrating also.

I read several holiday thrillers this year but t his was by far my favorite. I found the characters to be really interesting and the mystery kept me guessing. I really liked the narrator as well. I would definitely recommend this to any of my customers looking for a holiday thriller.

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for my copy of The Twelve Days of Murder by Andreina Cordani Narrated by Ella Lynch in exchange for an honest review. It published November 7, 2023.
First off the narration was very well done. Secondly, this book was so eerie! If you're looking for a Christmas book more on the creepy side, look no further. I loved the tie-ins of some of the folksy Yuletide characters, and the tie-in the the song, "The Twelve Days of Christmas". If you're looking for a Christmas cozy, you might want to avoid this, as there is a lot of blood, cussing, and gore.

I would like to thank you for allowing me to listen to The Twelve Days of Murder.
I am sorry to say that I did not finish this audiobook. I had a hard time following the narrator. It has absolutely nothing to do with the story and would love to read it physically. I am having a hard time giving a star rating, but I think I will land in a 3 star rating for the portion that was able to get thru.
