Stories about losing your virginity. How could this not be interesting. In the country where I live, sex is a topic we don’t just don't talk about it in public.

All in all, this collection of stories about the fear, excitement, and bundle of emotions that come with the loss of virginity, is a solid one.

I enjoyed these short stories by different authors examining sex and/or virginity. The variety in storytelling style and characters was useful for showing a range of experiences and emotions, Some of the stories also look at cultural issues and sexuality. Some stories are more memorable than others.

A true young adult classic that more people need to read. I love how authentic it feels and how Burgess pulls no punches.

This collection of short stories touches on such a delicate and universally anxiety-inducing experience in a variety of authentic ways. For those both excited for and horrified about the day their own story will be revealed.
