A Merry Montgomery Christmas was a fun, heartfelt read that was perfect to put you into the holiday season.
I listened to this book without reading others in the series and I was not lost at all. I was able to figure out who the characters work fairly quickly and I now that I’ve listened to this book I can’t wait to go back and read the rest of the books in the series.
This story revolves around, fun, love, and a family getting together during the holiday season.
Kevin T. Collins was an amazing narrator and I loved his voice.

"A Merry Montgomery Christmas" by Samantha Chase, in audiobook format, delivers a heartwarming holiday tale filled with love, family, and festive cheer, making it the perfect companion for the holiday season.

A Merry Montgomery Christmas by Samantha Chase was a great read and the narrator did a great job. Overall it was a 4 star read for me. This is the 10th book in the series. I do not feel that you need to read all of the previous books to get a sense of what is going on. I plan to go back and read them so that I can get a better understanding of the different family dynamics.
The entire Montgomery family planned a trip together over the holidays. It was the wish of the matriarch to have everyone under one roof since that does not happen much anymore. Each family member has their own thing going on and it is easy to get in the separated mindset. The more time they spend together the more they are able to work through their own things and lean on family.
Thank you, NetGalley, for the copy of the audiobook. All opinions are my own. #SamanthaChase #AMerryMontgomeryChristmas #NetGalley #DreamscapeMedia

Somehow I consistently find myself on the receiving end of books that are 10+ deep in a series, and that's exactly what happened here. I did not understand the characters, the relationships, etc. Hopefully someone else has read and enjoyed books 1-9 and this continues to be enjoyable too!
Thank you Netgalley for this book

I love Samantha Chase and her stories and this audio was no exception. The narrator’s were perfection at bringing the story to life. It was the perfect holiday story and a cozy holiday read.

Samantha Chase is amazing. Fantastic narration. Really nice to catch up with everyone and this is a series I'll read again.

Because this is an audiobook, I’ll address that first. The narrator was new to me, and I really liked him! He did a great job giving nuance to the story.
Now, the story was a wonderful comforting holiday romance. This is full of family angst, some humor, some swoon and some spice. This is my first book by Samantha Chase and now I wanna go back and read the rest of this series.

I think this was a fun little holiday listen if you're looking for a light read with your classic happy ending. It's really giving hallmark vibes besides that fact that there are about 12 couples instead of just one. It was a little hard a times to follow along with the story and keep all the characters straight. Maybe it would have been easier with a physical copy. I also wasn't the biggest fan of the narrator, but it was by no means unpleasant to listen to. This book may be the one for you if you're looking for a cutie, family oriented, Christmas read!
Thank you to @netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!

Unfortunately I did not finish this audiobook. I hadn't read any of the previous books in this series, so I couldn't keep track of all the characters. But most of all, this narrator was very difficult to listen to. The easiest way to put it, he was boring and lacked enthusiasm, I tried to push through, but it was impossible.

This is book 10 in The Montgomery Brothers series. I thought it was a fun and entertaining story. All the families coming together to spend the Christmas holiday under one house. Lots of laughs, drama and love between each couple and great quality time as a whole family.
Kevin T. Collins did a good job portraying all these characters.

I absolutely love all of Samatha Chase’s books and this one did not disappoint!
I have not read all of the Montgomery Brothers books, but I still loved this Christmas reunion audiobook!

Christmas is my favourite time of the year and i feel the Montgomery’s are my extended family so I was very excited to pick up this magical read. All I need to say is this book was everything I expected and so much more. From the moment I picked this book up I knew I was reading something very special and this was confirmed when the story stayed with me long after the final word was read.
Kevin T Collins did a wonderful job bringing the characters and their journey to life. He was spot on with all the different characters and the banter was perfection.
Having the Montgomery clan in one room was always going to be fun and entertaining and I can assure you that this magical read will have you giggling, swooning and laughing out loud. William Montgomery is up to his old tricks with his matchmaking but more importantly he wants his family to have a wonderful time.
This is a magical read or listen that I highly recommend.

Thank you to Dreamscape Media and to NetGalley for an ARC of this audiobook.
When I requested this book, I did not realize that it was part of a series. I did enjoy it as a stand alone book, although I think that I would have enjoyed it more if I had read the rest of the series. This was a fun cute little Christmas book and I did enjoy it. I think that I am going to go back and track down the rest of the series and read them all.
I really enjoyed the narrator as well.

I'll start this off by saying this is my first Samantha Chase book, and also I'm not one who has to go into a series reading everything in order. With that said, this book follows a very large family (this is book 11 in the series) into their Christmas getaway that is both for work and play. When Noah, an employee of the family’s company, is asked to bring documents to their getaway, hours away, he suddenly finds himself stranded after a car accident. With nowhere else to go, he must head back to the Montgomery family.
I wish we would have seen more of Lily and Noah’s romance, but there are already plans for that book! I loved how they didn't have the greatest meeting at first and it took them a bit to understand each other, but I was very excited to see where the two of them were by the end of the book! I can also appreciate the updates that the first part of the book is filled with. Each family is given a chapter, sort of as a bonus epilogue, to let you know where they stand as a couple or family. It's neat to see that glimpse into their lives now and hold back on the giddiness of when a couple first falls in love.
Kevin T. Collins did a good job with narrating the entire (and huge) Montgomery family, which I'm sure was no easy feat!
THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU IF: You're looking for a fun Christmas story (with hardly any spice) to get you in the holiday spirit!

Oh my gosh this book was the perfect little holiday read and it hooked me from the very beginning! Loved it

This audiobook was perfection.
I love when you fall in love with a series and then down the road, the author gives you a sort of "where are they now".
For those of you who have enjoyed the Montgomery Brothers series, this will be SUCH A TREAT for you. Filled with all the things we have loved from this series,l as a whole, plus a bit of holiday magic.
If you haven't read the whole series, it's a big family so it may be a bit difficult to keep up with everything going on. But overall the perfect holiday read! 🤍🎄✨

There's a lot going on in Samantha Chase's A Merry Montgomery Christmas with the whole family gathered for the holiday. I think at one point, it's mentioned that there are 54 family members present, and with that many people, you just know some things are bound to go wrong. There is a fair amount of turmoil, but there's even more hope, love, and family solidarity, which is what a family gathering should be.
I'm just gonna go ahead and state that you probably should be familiar with at least some of The Montgomery Brothers series, but I'm not, and once I figured out most of the characters, I kept up okay. Pretty much every couple gets at least a chapter of their own, so there is a lot to keep up with. With that in mind, I have to give mad props to Samantha Chase for writing this one in a way that made it possible for this newbie to the series to keep up.
Kevin T. Collins narrates this one, and given the sheer amount of characters, that's a daunting task, in my opinion. I do think I would've enjoyed the narration more with more distinction between characters, but again, this guy had his work cut out for him, and all things considered, he did a good job.
So, a huge family holiday gathering, a bit of fuss and muss, and a whole lotta love and family unity. Yep, the Montgomerys certainly know how to host a party, and they know a few things about family and what's important. With that in mind, I'd recommend A Merry Montgomery Christmas, and now that I've met them, my TBR has grown with the rest of the series.

This family is everything readers want in small-town romance. Splash in some holiday magic, match making, and a LARGE family trip and you have this gem. I loved this story and the multiple narrators and POV throughout the story. Definitely warms the heart and gives all the ballet-Christmas vibes we all want during December.

I listened to this as a stand alone audiobook and enjoyed this cozy family holiday read. However, I know that I would have enjoyed it more if I knew the characters’ back stories because this felt like a family reunion with multiple epilogues. This story made me want to go read the other books in this series. With that said, I still found that it was fun, cute and entertaining! The story included several holiday excursions and activities which will have you in the holiday spirit. This was a CLEAN, CLOSED door romance, perfect for those who do not enjoy spice yet was still entertaining enough for those of us who do. The story line featured in this book followed multiple POVs from several couples. For those who have enjoyed the film The Family Stone, this book gives off similar vibes. The audio narration was read by a single narrator and was well done. The vocals were clear with no distracting sounds and the pacing of the story was good. Overall, the writing was very good, the story lines were cute, and the holiday spirit was infused throughout. Liked this read!

A Merry Montgomery Christmas is the 10th book in The Montgomery Brothers series by Samantha Chase. I had not read the previous books, but this one felt like a standalone romance that probably caught the reader up on the lives of the characters in the previous books.
I thought this was an interesting book, but some of the characters were kind of icky for me. I liked most of the characters, but some were just off-putting and they were distracting to me. Overall, I enjoyed the story, and the holiday feels it created.
The narration by Kevin T. Collins was good. He has a very nice voice.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
