So much casual homophobia. Don't think I've seen the F-slur used so many times in just one book. And it's never confirmed if anyone in the novel even is gay or bi. So the F-slur is used by straight people towards straight people. Which may be "realistic dialogue", but...
There are too major assault scenes, and the aftermath with the shower aversions and hair trimming are handled well. It's implied that another character is gang-raped.
I know this is character-driven rather than plot-driven, but it just seemed a bit..boring? Relationship dramas, drinking, getting high, hooking up, repeat.
