A cute book, but I didn’t like the fact that I could only read a PDF copy on Adobe Digital Editions. Really should enable “send to Kindle”, as ADE does not make for a pleasant reading experience.
A really informative guide to crocheting some cute woodland animals. It might be a bit confusing if you’re not an avid crocheter, but once you know what you doing, this is a great book.
A lovely book! Lots of cute projects to keep crocheting hands busy. Well explained and illustrated. I love the skunk!
This was a pretty cute crochet book! I have not made any of the patterns in the book, but they look pretty straightforward for an advanced beginner/intermediate crocheter. Some of the patterns are kind of meh in my opinion and you could find cuter versions online or in other amigurumi books, but the squirrel and skunk in particular caught my eye! I also thought the introduction did a fairly good job at not being too wordy but still covering basic stitches pretty well. All in all, not one I would probably keep in my personal collection, but I may give one of these a shot!
These forest animals are so cute! As a somewhat novice crocheter with minimal amigurami experience, I’m finding the patterns easy enough to follow.
I would recommend for anyone looking for new cute animals to crochet!
These were really cute and would be fun for a craft club at my school for the kids. I would however swap sewing beaded eyes to sewing just black eyes itself to prevent chocking hazards if I wanted to give these to younger kids. I loved the woodland themes.
Great book for those who are looking to start taking their beginner crochet skills to the next level by creating doll-like creatures! I especially think the first few pages are valuable as it goes through all the abbreviations with pictures and detailed descriptions. I couldn't stop thinking about how cute these creatures would be in a woodland-themed nursery. My recommendation would be for beginner crocheters who have the basics down but are looking to start making figures.
Thank you NetGalley for allowing me to review this craft and hobby book!
Thank you to Net Galley for giving me an ARC of this crochet book!
I love the adorable patterns in this book! They are very cute and well written so that a novice crocheter like me can still get the desired product. I also love how the book explains basic stitches with photographs so it's easy to follow. My favorite pattern has to be the little fox and I'm happy to report that my son loves his new friend :)
This book isn't super novice friendly, but if you have some crochet knowledge and are looking for a challenge, I would suggest it. /my 6th graders couldn't make these patterns work, but my 8th graders loved them!
SO cute and easy to follow, i never really do amigurami but i am currently running to my yarn stash to make the fawn
This Woodland Crochet Kit is a must buy for people who love making cute crochet projects, or for anyone looking to start a new hobby in crocheting! With this kit you'll get patterns, yarn & supplies for two of the projects, a crochet hook, a needle etc. Definitely will be a great purchase for yourself or as a gift!
Thank you to NetGalley for giving me an ARC of the book that goes with this kit. It is very well done. There are 12 patterns, all of which are delightful! You'll be able to make some pretty cute woodland critters. The book is great for beginners because it does a great job explaining the terminology used and how to read the patterns. And whether you're making your first crochet project or your 1000th project, you'll find that the patterns themselves are very clearly written and the images alongside the pattern do a great job depicting the instructions!
Great instructions, cute quirky woodland animals. The fawn and hedgehog are my favorite! Lots of pictures and I like font style choices. It makes it easy to read the pattern and not get lost as you go! Perfect for a beginner who is still learning.
