I thought this was very good and I will have to add this to the shop shelves. Thank you for the chance for us to review.
Finally we get to find out what the future holds for Farrah and Blake, and If the Sun Never Sets did not disappoint!
I enjoyed this book a lot more than the first, and feel that Ana Huang hit these two on the nail. All grown up and out in the world, coincidence brings these two back together after 5 years. Learning how to trust LOVE, and the realization that they belong together. So good!
This book also fell flat for me and I won’t be continuing the series. The main characters were just unlikable and I couldn’t connect to either of them nor did I care about what was happening to them
This was a much needed one for their storyline. Blake frustrated me a lot in the first book, and they did not get their HEA in the first book, but the groveling in this book is well done!
"If the sun never sets, the stars will never shine.”
Miscommunication. That’s one word I used to sum up this romance. I was really excited to read this book since I didn’t like the previous book in this series, which is the first part of Farrah and Blake’s romance. I was really happy for this one since I knew that we were going to get an HEA at the end! Unfortunately for me, this book made me not want to root for the couple. I did like how Farrah and Blake slowly got to know one another after five years apart. That part was really sweet and I liked that they still both had feelings for each other after all that time. What made it really annoying was the fact that Blake never was upfront with Farrah in the beginning with why he broke up with her and what had happened in his life. He only told her later on in the book. I also hated the fact that the characters literally break up two more times in this book. I felt like at this point Farrah could do so much better than Blake. Like dude, man up and be with her one hundred percent, or say goodbye to her! You can’t say that you wanna be with her and then think that you’re not good enough for her. Ughhhh. I also felt that their relationship was very rushed since they didn’t have any of these deep conversations and it was more of physical thing.
What I learned from this book is that I will never read duets again since this is not my thing and that if a book is having the miscommunication trope in it and it’s not going well, then quit! 🤣

I just did not enjoy how the female main character was portrayed. It took me a really long time to get through this book.
I found the romantic tale of Blake and Farrah quite engaging. Nonetheless, the explicit sexual content might not resonate with every reader. While there is a dedicated audience for such literature, personally, I felt it detracted from the overall narrative.
I love little Blake. IYKYK I was so right about my theory. I will not spoil it though. I am so glad I was able to pick this book right up. I needed to know all the things. The romance and spice between Farrah and Blake was just everything. They had both grown and changed so much. I enjoyed seeing how they were able to find their way back to each other. I cannot wait to read about our next couple. I am so excited.Thank you to NetGalley and SOURCEBOOKS Bloom Books for the arc in exchange for my honest review.
** spoiler alert ** 3/3.5 stars. This book is a follow up of the first one where the main characters meet again after years have gone by. I don’t even know if you can call it the miscommunication trope but come on, red flags when a guy screws up this many times. I really struggled with the main character allowing herself to be a doormat and look don’t even get me started on Cleo lol.Thank you to NetGalley, Ana Huang, and Bloom Books for the complimentary ARC of this book.
If the Sun Never Sets by Ana Huang was a stellar story!
This was a beautiful story about second chances and new beginnings.
The storyline and writing was seamless.
It was very well written and flowed nicely. Full of emotions and coming of age heartbreaks.
I really loved the character growth here.
The writing is absolutely beautiful.
Thank You NetGalley and Bloom Books for your generosity and gifting me a copy of this amazing eARC!
I liked this book better than the first but the writing style is still just not for me. Blake and Farrah are just so childish that it did not allow me to fully enjoy this book
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this arc.
This is the second book in Farrah and Blake’s story. There is a bit of time between the two books. As one can expect, Farrah has a hard time getting over the hurt and pain caused from her first breakup with Blake. This is their story of trying to move forward and start again. I enjoyed it as much as the first!

Book 2 in a series. This book is 5years after Shanghai. Farrah is thriving at her design job, Olivia is killing it in finance and Blake is quickly building a successful sports bar empire.
After nailing a massive hotel revamp, Farrah is shocked to not get the promotion she deserves so she quits on the spot. After sending out her resume to every firm in the city, she hasn’t receiving a single call. Luckily she gets contacted about a residential job she has to take but it’s for the one person she should never work for.
I liked seeing Farrah stand up for herself and understood her attempt at avoiding heartbreak again. I found myself rooting for Blake while wanting to shake him for being dumb. Thankful that Sammy finally jumped in for that!
This was a good 2nd in the series. All of the characters from the first made an appearance although only 4-5 of the 9 were heavily involved.
I will eventually read the other books in the series to find out about Kris, Olivia and Sammy’s stories.

Ana Huang will never cease to amaze me. Each book makes me fall more in love with the world's she writes and characters. While this duet was honestly a very much debut kind of vibe. I think Ana has definitely changed and grown so much that it is hard to distinguish between her current writing and her past.
This book was something, it was better than the firs book. I thought the relationship was a bit better. Just like fucking hell the third act ruing it again for me. Like I get it, but I hated it.
I got an e-arc of this book on NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
In this book, the story concludes between Blake and Farrah. I really enjoyed seeing them still have deep feelings for one another, but Farrah cannot move on from previous hurt from the last book. I loved that this was set in New York and they had a happy ending. A pretty good read that will keep you entertained.
Thank you NetGalley and Bloom Books for the arc of this book.
This book was amazing and I devoured this book in just a few sittings! I loved the character development and how the story progressed.
Ana Huang's "If The Sun Never Sets" is a gripping tale of second chances and unresolved emotions. The novel reunites Farrah, now a freelance interior designer, with her first love, Blake Ryan, who is also her new client. Five years have passed since Blake shattered Farrah’s heart, but the scars remain fresh.
Blake, who appears successful with his booming sports bar empire, is haunted by the past and dreams of reclaiming Farrah’s love. Their reunion sparks a mix of tension and longing, as Farrah grapples with her unresolved feelings and the fear of being hurt again.
Huang excels in portraying the complexity of rekindled romance. The chemistry between Farrah and Blake is intense, with their interactions filled with emotional depth and authenticity. The novel delves into themes of forgiveness, personal growth, and the impact of past decisions on the present.
While the narrative is compelling, some readers might find the familiar trope of past lovers reuniting predictable. However, Huang’s skillful storytelling and character development make "If The Sun Never Sets" a captivating read.
Overall, this novel is a heartfelt exploration of love lost and found, perfect for fans of contemporary romance who enjoy stories of redemption and second chances.
I read the first book and was distraught with Blake as the MMC and this book just solidified my opinion that he is questionable and Farrah is too weak-hearted when it comes to him.
plot
The plot was standard. I liked the idea of reversing the dynamic of Blake and Farrah as he's telling her to go for her dreams now. There wasn't really anything else that made the plot interesting as I wasn't too invested in her aspirations to become an interior designer.
characters
Farrah was okay until the middle of the novel. I felt like she forgave him too easily, which caused her character development to fall through. Stand up Farrah, stand up.
Don't get me started on Blake. He's just a disaster and the plot twist made me want to rip my hair out because why? Everything could've easily been avoided. The plot twist was an easy way out for his character.
intimate scenes
In my opinion, they were better than the first book. It was spicy and, at times, bearable to read. The writing was less awkward and I could tell Ana Huang really improved her writing with these scenes.
Five years later and Farrah and Blake still love each other. Even if Farrah hates him for breaking her heart there is lots of love still there. Tension and angst, self control and longing are big players here.
