Andrew Sinclair is part of the scandalous Sinclair family who have had more than their share of financial ups and downs. Drew is beginning to realise that his lifestyle must change. The chance for that comes most unexpectedly.

Widowed Hester Black is trying everything to keep her home and farm . She has had enough of men who think nothing of gambling with other people's lives. Now her husband's Will has put everyone on the farm at risk again.

This series of historical romances concerns the siblings in one family ,so they are all connected. Because of that they are better read in order, but each has its own complete story. The characters are very unusual because of the lives they have led. I'm waiting impatiently for the mysterious brother's book. They are all exciting and very different from each other.

Great fun.

Hester and Drew definitely had good chemistry, though this was probably my least favorite of the series so far. I thought it was a little disappointing how quickly Drew believed the worst of Hester. I did like the twist though -- I thought that was well thought out and not completely obvious. I'm looking forward to the next installment, but I really didn't enjoy this one as much as the first two.

What a great enemies to lovers story! I've read books by this author in the past but this one is definitely a standout. Drew got ownership of Blackbird Heath after the former owner passed away. Strangely, per the conditions of the will, the owner's widow was to remain on the farm property for as long as she wished. This presents a complication for Drew as he hates country living and would rather just take the cash. When Drew travels to the farm, he is shocked to see that the widowed Hester is actually young. Despite Drew's attempted negotiations, the furious redhead refuses to give in. At best, she wishes to manage the property for him while he stays faraway in London. In frustration, Drew decides to dig in his heels and show Hester who's the boss. When Drew moves into the house, an epic battle of wills ensues. The poop is literally flying.
This was the funniest book that I've read in a while. The humor felt genuine and not contrived. Hester wanted to make the spoiled city boy as unwelcome as possible. However, Drew was not the dandy that he appeared to be. As their battles rage on, the simmering attraction between the two of them continues to build. When the enemies finally get together, their chemistry is sizzling.
In addition to the humor and the steam, this novel also had its share of danger and mystery. There was even a naughty rooster named "King George." Characters from other books are mentioned but this book is fine as a standalone. I'm definitely looking forward to reading more about the Sinclair family in the future.
I received a free ARC from NetGalley and this is my honest review.

A beautiful new chapter of the Deadly Sins saga! Andrew is the “deadliest” of the Deadly Sins so far: handsome, cocksure, a rake and a gambler, but also a honorable man. An unexpected inheritance brings him to the country he so despises… And into the arms of a grumpy, hard-working widow. I loved both characters and I especially enjoyed their banter and their antagonism. There’s a lot of humor in this book, but also a bit of angst and some suspense that make this exactly the kind of read I enjoy most. The writing is beautiful as ever, of course, and the lovemaking scenes are so hot!!!! Phew, the chemistry between those two! A five star read for sure!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is the third book in the series. The series follows the journey of Sinclair siblings.
Though it's standalone the first two books are equally good and enjoyable.
The best thing about Ms Ayers writing is the way she portrays her female leads. The female leads are strong and fiesty and inspiring.
Hester has seen many tough days. She has worked hard for her farm. She locks herself with Andrew in a battle of will and at the same time fights her attraction towards him as well.
Andrew is unlike other historical leads I have read. Though he was the son of an Earl he had seen some dark days.
Their banter was highly entertaining.
I liked the story and look forward to read the next book.
Steam level is a bit low but the story and characters have a feel to them.

Finally, the latest by Kathleen Ayers! So often, when a book includes a topic I am disinterested in, I find myself skimming along to get back to more exciting things. But Ms. Ayers keeps me reading. Do I care about the farming of sugar beets or cabbage? Decidedly no. Did I still read every word? Yes indeed. It’s a testament to her skill and the vivid and humorous narrative that keeps me reading. I’m already planning a re-read of this and the previous 2 books in the series, and eagerly awaiting Ms. Ayers’ next gem.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

7Hester Black - a feisty, redheaded, young widow determined to keep her home even if her husband left it to a perfect stranger. She’s from humble decent and knows how hard life can be, so she’ll fight him tooth and nail. How hard can it be to get rid of a gambling London dandy? She’ll show him just how comfortable country life can be!

Andrew Sinclair - the Earl of Emmerson’s younger brother, has a head for numbers and likes to look sharp. He’s the perfect stranger. He has no need for a country estate, let alone a farm, in Lincolnshire. It should be easy enough to charm the elderly widow out of it and sell the property, but boy, was he wrong!

These two but heads from the first moment and they play dirty - literally - a royal rooster, mud, manure, a snake and cabbage. But all the teasing and taunting fuels more than their determination to be rid of each other. It lights a sizzling spark and an inconvenient attraction turns into steamy passion.
Strange occurrences interrupt their blissful truce, and suddenly everything changes. He knows her to be determined, but murder surely is a bridge too far. Or is it?

⭐⭐⭐⭐✨
📚 Fascinating characters, well-matched and creative in mischief and perseverance. Witty dialogue with lots of direct hits, great world building and fierce romance - these two really aren’t that tender, but very delicious! A very entertaining, grin, chuckle, laugh-out-loud funny page-turner!
The first half of this book and its MCs reminded me of JQ’s Minx. The end however took an unexpected and thrilling turn... I had my suspicions, but I did not see that one coming!
Excellent!

Another addition to the outrageous Sinclair clan with this one starring Andrew.
Andrew has been a gambler to help support his family when he takes pity on an elderly man.
When the man dies, he leaves his estate to Andrew who plots to sell it to further his own investments.
But he must let the widow Hester live there for her lifetime and she is young and determined to remain on the farm she has worked to make profitable..
They clash, they try to outsmart each other, and they become enamoured of each other.
Circumstances force them apart and a HEA hangs in the balance.
Great character development, easy reading.

What a story! Andrew meets Hester and the fireworks instantly begin, they can't stand each other. Additionally, they are both determined to cause the other to leave and never return. There is so much fun, pranks, joy in this story that's impossible to put down as you can't wait to see what will happen next. Yet besides the two of them there is evil, a villain, and stream. This is a series of the Sinclair family and if you have only read this one, I encourage you to read them all. Each is worth the small price to be fully entertained.

When Andrew Sinclair, the younger brother of the Earl of Emerson finds out that he has been left an estate by a man, he once played cards with, he is shocked. When he discovers that the man’s widow also lives at Blackbird Heath, he is at a loss as to what to do. Detesting anything to do with farm life, he is determined to sell the property as soon as possible. Yet when he meets Hester Black, the widow, he is thrown by her determination and beauty. Hester has toiled tirelessly to transform Blackbird Heath into a thriving enterprise and is determined that Drew will not sell her home. Drew realises that he cannot sell the farm unless Hester vacates; however, his efforts to annoy her into leaving, make her more determined to make farm life a challenge for Drew. A fierce clash of wills unfolds as Drew and Hester compete for control of Blackbird Heath all the while fighting their undeniable attraction to each other. Yet when Drew’s life is threatened, he wonders whether Hester might be behind it all.
I loved how both plotted to annoy the other, whilst fighting their attraction to each other. Both characters were so much fun and so full of life. I also found it enjoyable to see that their initial perception of each other gradually fades into the distance as their respect for each other grows. Whilst there are glimpse of Drew’s siblings from past books, I enjoyed that this was solely Drew and Hester’s story. A great addition to an enjoyable series.

A passionate romance, Andrew and Hester are opposites and a forced proximity soon leads to a steamy affair. I enjoyed their story, their undeniable desire, suspicion and a mad villain and their worthy happily ever after.

Absolutely loved this story. Enemies to lovers, YES! Rake, YES! Misunderstanding, YES! A bit of mystery, YES! So far this series has been delicious. I keep reading and reading not wanting to put the book down. Hester and Drew are such great characters with fantastic personalities. I do love a good I don’t like you but I want you story along with the old trope of trying to drive one person away. These two characters were so interesting and just couldn’t help themselves. Amazing! Go out, read this series. You will not be disappointed.

Okay, so I hope Worthington get his own story because man I love this guy.

This is a most enjoyable series getting to know the unconventional Sinclair family. This is Andrew’s (Drew) story, as he obtains a farm in the country from a card game win and travels there intent on selling the property. There he finds the gambler’s young widow, Hester, running the farm and dead set against ever leaving it. This is an enemy to lovers story where two spirited and stubborn people embark on a series of pranks and schemes to force the other to give up and abandon the quest. But as passionate as they hate, they also love. In addition to this delightful romance, we have attempted murders, kidnapping , and a deranged psychopath on the loose! Not one that I could easily put down, so it had me reading way into the night!

Another great book featuring the Sinclair family! Drew really was a good guy even though he had a reputation that preceded him when he made his way to Blackbird Heath to see his new property. I loved Hester's feistiness. And I loved that it came from wanting to have security. This was good!

Sinfully Mine is the third book in The Five Deadly Sins series by Kathleen Ayers and I really enjoyed it along with all the others so far.

This book follows Andrew (Drew) Sinclair who we've gotten snippets of in the first two books and we find out pretty quickly that he has been left an estate by a man he barely remembers. What he thinks may be an easy way to get the money he needs for an investment plan he has with a friend, turns out to be a bit more difficult than he thought it would be because there's a catch. Drew can't sell the property until the man's widow vacates the premises...and she is determined not to leave.

Hester Black has worked hard to transform Blackbird Heath and she has no intention of handing it over to some London dandy who gambles for living. She had to put up with that with her father and her husband, she isn't going to just walk away from her home and the people she supports without a fight.

As Drew and Hester are invested in this battle of wills, they also start to feel more than animosity toward one another. As their relationship builds and Drew starts thinking that maybe he doesn't really hate the country as much as he thought, strange things start to happen that make him question whether he can truly trust Hester. And when something especially dangerous happens, he can't trust her motives aren't murderous and that's when things start to be revealed.

Admittedly, I kind of knew what was going to happen with this one (I'm not going to tell) but I still really enjoyed the story and the build of the character's relationship. I don't think you have to read the first 2 books in the series to get into this story but it's definitely helpful if you do as there are references made to Drew's family that are part of the whole series. Additionally, these are all pretty quick reads so it wouldn't be hard to dive in and catch right up.

I'm looking forward to the next story in this series and can't wait to see who's book we get next! I definitely recommend picking up this historical romance if you're looking for a new one to start!

Enemies to lovers romance at its finest. Hester is devastated to learn that her deceased husband has left her beloved farm not to her, but rather, to a man he barely knew. Drew is stunned to find he has been left a farm by a man that he met one time over a game of cards-the catch-he must allow the man’s widow to live there as long as she wishes. He packs up heading to the estate with hopes of convincing the widow to move out so he can sell the farm. Only he did not bargain on just how stubborn Hester would prove to be-or the attraction between them.

This was another lovely story featuring one of the “sins.” Drew is the lighthearted brother that from appearances seems like a wastrel gambler. But there is so much more to him! He and Hester fight both pre-conceived notions and a fierce attraction. The story is lighthearted for the most part and the flame between the two is hot! It was a very enjoyable and swift read.

Sinfully Mine is surprisingly erotic given it’s about a farming widow wed to Blackbird Heath, which her late husband left to another gambler. The Five Deadly Sins is one of my favorite current series. The colorful Sinclair family march to their own drums and live their lives to the fullest. Their social polish is a veneer at best. Andrew Sinclair is no exception. His brilliant mind tends to be eclipsed by his talent and charm with the ladies. A book about saving a farm sounds so mundane until you realize there is a murderer in the district and Drew and Hester are in his sight. I thank the author and Dragonblade Publisher for an advance review copy and an voluntarily leaving this honest review.

I really am loving this new series of the Sinful Sinclairs. The family is such fun and I have loved each and every one of them and cannot wait for Malcolm and Aurora’s HEA. However, my review is on how much I loved Sinfully Mine.
KY is a wonderful storyteller and her books are so easy to read and very enjoyable. I loved this story - as it was slightly off the norm. A widow, left as part of a house, to a rake and gambler with a back story, was so much fun. The sex was hot, the baddie was evil and the farm was smelly, what more could you want from a romantic tale? I liked Hester and her strong survival spirit and I loved Drew and his softness even after life had thrown him so much strife. I could have kept reading about these too and was sorry when their story ended. Another great book, thanks Kathleen. I know that all these books are stand-alone but for the ultimate enjoyment, I would suggest you read them in order as this will maximise your enjoyment.

I have been fortunate to read all of this series so far and enjoyed every one Kathleen Ayres is most definitely one of my most favourite authors .
Sinfully mine is a continuation of this sinful series , sin by name sin by nature the Sinclair family are renowned for it .
Having been left a farm in a will , Drew Sinclair goes to investigate as all he wants to do is sell it , unfortunately for him it comes with a widow who will not leave so he can’t sell it .
Oh but then the fun begins , the widow is not some old lady but a feisty red haired beauty named Hester who thwarts his every move .
A really good story unfolds with humour , danger , deception and plenty of sizzling hot passion all packed into this short story loved it five star review for sure .

Having read the previous two books I knew about Drew's background and was ready to root for him in this book. However, he wasn't as easy to like as I had expected. Although he completely recognizes the irony of his situation with Hester, he was still willing to kick her off the property with nothing. And then when he accuses her of being the one trying to kill him I found myself wanting to smack him upside the head. After everything they had shared him thinking so little of Hester really made me question if he was the right guy for her. Of course I knew there is going to be a big reconciliation and he was eventually going to see the error his ways and win her back, but still I wasn't 100% team Drew at that point. As for Hester, how could your heart not break a little for her once you fully understand how poorly she had been (and continued to be) treated by everyone else in her life (with the exception of her few servants). I completely sided with her in the fight to keep the farm. I suspected something was up with Godwick and his part in his wife's illness didn't really come as much of a surprise, but I will say that the extent of his unstableness and past deeds was more than I had expected. I hope we get to see more of Hester interacting with Drew's family since she doesn't meet them until the end of the epilogue.
