This collection of lesser known artists and creators pairs biography with an art activity that relates to the artist. The collection does an excellent job of highlighting lesser known artists and the activities are engaging and connected.

Although I believe many of these projects are a bit advanced for many children, this would be a wonderful book for a very artistic child. The part that made me happy was learning about all those fabulous artists and googling their works.
