Flowering is a beautifully designed, incredibly inspiring and useful book that takes floral artistry to the next level! The photography throughout is amazing, as is the design. This book is full of tips and tricks to create jaw dropping arrangements and includes so much helpful advice that isn't commonly know, such as using chicken wire in the base of your arrangements to support the stems and create interesting compositions, I never would have thought of that! Would highly recommend this book.

Flowering by Elizabeth Jaime is exactly what I hoped it would be. I love flowers. A beautifully arranged collection of flowers can make my day. I am more of an appreciator of art than a creator of art. Thankfully, Elizabeth shares her hard-earned knowledge in a format that makes it easy, even for a non-creative like me. She literally approaches this like a cookbook. Ingredients based on location and season and pictures with step-by-step how to arrange the beautiful arrangements she shares. This is truly a fool-proof tool for anyone to be able to create beautiful flower displays. I walked away with practical knowledge as well confidence to just experiment and try. I definitely recommend this for all those who appreciate flowers and are either ready to step out of the non-creative box or step up their game. Either way, it is a win-win.
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher via NetGalley and all opinions expressed are solely my own, freely given.

I received this as an ARC from NetGalley.

I am a novice at flower arrangement. This book was very clear about tools and directions. Most importantly, there were a lot of visuals. The photography was pretty and simple. I enjoyed just looking at the images of all the flowers. I liked how the instructions for the arrangements were done in clear, step by step visuals, and each had their own style. I'd recommend this for someone who wants to get into flower arranging and wants some recipes to get started.

Beautiful book. Cool photos of the flowers and arrangements they go into. Fantastic directions, step-by-step including all the tools you need. I enjoyed the layout that showed all the tools one might use and what hey are used for. It was a lot like a cook book and all the kitchen tools you’ll need to bake.
I learned a bunch of new ways to arrange and look forward to trying these ideas out, My future arrangements will be much bigger and eye catching thanks to ElizabethJaime and this great book.

Thanks to the Publisher and NetGalley for the ARC.

Flowering by Elizabeth Jaime is a book on how to create your own flower arrangement's. Sadly the majority of tutorial's focus more on tropical or exotic flowers. I feel the concept can be converted to other types of flowers with some thought and practice and the visuals are stunning.

I was glad to see other options than floral foam to try and her section on tools and flower prepping is very educational. I also like that she breaks it down by what is worth investing in if your a hobbyist or want to try your hand at professional arranging.

I think the pictures are stunning and my only complaint (which isn’t really a complaint per say) is that adding a section of more common flowers and a section for beginners as well as more seasoned flower arrangers would be helpful. Or a rating of easy to difficult of both the arrangements or working with particular types of flowers might help those of us use new to trying our own.

Overall I loved the book and have already pre-ordered a copy for myself.

Flowering by Elizabeth Jaime is a flowering arranging book on arranging flowers of the more tropical or exotic type. I like how Elizabeth Jaime does not use floral foam in her arrangements. Her focus on sustainability was highly appreciated.

The book does feel a bit lackluster in photography which is crucial in a flower arranging book but overall I enjoyed that a floral designer focused on sustainability and bright cheery arrangements that uplifted.
