Perfect date night cookbook. My husband and I used to be bartenders, so I can definitely see us using this A LOT. He is a beer person, but I’m a craft cocktail person and even some the recipes in here I can tell he would love. Especially love to make together! And the pictures are amazing!!! I love knowing what I’m making.

I also enjoyed the little tidbits of what to do on a date night, movies you can watch together, a playlist, etc. Great book!

Kindred Spirits: Cocktails for Two stopped me dead in my tracks when I read the recipe for "The Perfect Match" PB & Choc Martini in the preview!! I am absolutely making this my signature cocktail!! Two great things that taste great together (I might have dated myself a tad with that phrase) AND booze?? I can't think of any drink that would be more delicious. The photography is stunning in this gorgeous recipe book and the sidebar anecdotes in conjunction with the playlists and theme date ideas makes this one an excellent idea for a Stock the Bar couples' wedding shower or anniversary gift. This is such a cute concept, and honestly, cocktails portioned for two is such a need. The book is also absolutely gorgeous—the styling of the photos is so on-trend (that colorful, retro, grainy feel) but also feels like it would age beautifully if kept on a shelf for years. My only bone to pick is that a lot of the cocktail names and descriptions feel a little cutesy and forced (the puns especially), which cheapens what looks like a beautifully produced and high quality book. The recipes themselves are *chefs kiss*. I have so many bookmarked to try!

Kindred Spirits was such a great introduction to some drinks/ spirits I haven't tried before. There were also some combinations that I found interesting. I made two of the drinks and they were phenomenal, Loving You is Breezy and Pucker Up Raspberry Sour. So yummy! I look forward to going back to this book when I feel like having something fancy.

I absolutely adore this book! It would make a fabulous gift! The recipes are great and include plenty of drinks I recognize as well as a great variety of new to me drinks. I love the additions to the book (such as the playlist, film recommendations and gorgeous photos).
