As a preschool teacher, I appreciate this book for being so accessible and educational.
There’s a lot to talk about with the kids with this book.

This early child nature book is simple but beautiful. The artwork is attractive for young children and the story is easy to follow. The book has wonderful diversity too! My toddler loved this book and we're definitely going to get a copy for our daycare!

This delightful book is geared toward 3-5 year olds. As the title indicates, it explains Nature at a level that a young one can understand and appreciate.

In a nutshell: nature is everything that surrounds us that is not man-made.

It is interactive, in that it asks the child to look out the window and to tell what he sees. And, it asks the child what sounds he can hear outside at night. There are more questions to engage the child. Such a fun way to learn.

The illustrations are bright and colourful. There is diversity in the characters.

The book also goes on to explain that we should take care of the earth and be kind to all living things. Great values to instill at a young age.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the Advance Readers Copy.

I have how inclusive this book is. Not only do students get to learn about nature, but this book also provides windows and mirrors for students to see themselves and their peers interacting with nature.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with this book for free in exchange for my review! All opinions are my own.

This book was super cute and I loved the vibrant illustrations. As someone who grew up in a rural community, I think it is important for children to learn about nature! I highly recommend this book!!

I enjoyed "All About Nature". The elements of inclusivity were touching, even if they were a bit too "on the nose". That being said, I would rather illustrators be showing disabled or "different" individuals in their artwork vs. leaving them out altogether. Everyone deserves to know about and share in the glory of nature and this book showcases that. It is easily understandable and explains concepts well about how the solar system and earth is along with how animals and plants operate. If I were a boy scout leader, I would read this to the group before taking them out on a camping trip to inspire their passion for the outdoors and why it should be appreciated. It is important to instill concepts of respecting and appreciating our earth and what lives on it into children. I do believe this book cohesively pushes that point across the reader. Overall, I thought the colors of the art were nice and the characters whether human or animal or inanimate object all were quite cute. A child would probably light up reading through this and pointing out the designs they attach to. I will rate this a 4 star instead of 5 because of the fact that it's trying a little too hard to seem so wholesome and pushing diversity vs letting it naturally align. I would give criticism to the author saying they could have brought up the instances of what happens when humans do not care for nature in a optimistic way. I'm not insinuating that we should "scare" children into seeing how neglecting or abusing our earth can ruin it but we have to be realistic. Sometimes maybe we could show them that, just like how some parents may show a child a picture of yellow, decaying teeth so they see the consequences to if they don't at least brush twice a day for a couple mins. My criticism for the illustrator would be I think you were pushing it a bit attempting to showcase different hairstyles and aesthetics for example in your human character models. You wanted to be prove you're hip to what the modern world is so badly but that's okay I see you have some knowledge. I do like your choices in colors and keeping it very bright and vibrant. I like the way you added to the foreground and background, keep up what you're doing! Thank you for reading my review, I think libraries or bookstores should add this to the shelves because it's overall positive even if it could have tweaked things but perhaps I am biased!
