The author sets out to share the secrets behind what he calls supercharges communication-at the workplace, on a personal level and in general the clarity of purpose and proceeds to unpack three essential elements to communication:
1. Engage and connect at a personal level.
2. Engage with intent through various mediums.
3. Be mission-focused through united leadership.
It was my first time putting a name to something I have always been interested in, and herein the author calls it Appreciative Inquiry- "a proven collaborative strength based approach to facilitating positive change and building capacity in organizations, groups and communities."
Each chapter comes with a recap section at the end so you can affirm what you've read and refresh your memory of key takeaway points. On the leadership spectrum, I find this book to be more intentional on creating and sustaining positive relationships through clarity of communication.
Thanks Netgalley for the eARC.
