THIS WAS SO GOOD OMG. I devoured this and only took breaks from reading it to update my family on what was happening in the plot. This genre-bending novel kept subverting my expectations of what I thought was going to happen, and Crystal J. Bell was not afraid to take risks and get dark and I loved it!! It definitely is a bit of a slow burn but don’t let that deter you because the ending is worth it! Honestly after finishing it the very few gripes I had like some slow pacing in the beginning and some frustrating moments with the main character fell by the wayside. I hope this finds an audience and people give it a chance because this book deserves it!
