Interesting and gorgeous!
I absolutely love this story so far! It’s a fun and interesting group of characters, and the mains are extremely likable. I’m especially loving how the vampires and witches are often misunderstanding one another, but our unlikely duo is looking like they are beginning to at least understand one another.
Plus, the art is amazing. I mean, the character design? The colors? I love it!! Absolutely gorgeous.
I’m excited for the rest of the story. Definitely pick this one up!
TW/CW: blood, minimal violence (vampires chasing, cat thrown)

I loved this so much!! I need more immediately. Morgana is adorable, Oz is adorable, I cannot wait to see more of them.

In Morgana and Oz, Morgana is a witch from a well established witch community but... her spells have a tendency to backfire. Her family is meeting with a clan of vampires that Oz is a part of when something goes wrong. Morgana's grandfather has disappeared, the vampires have been poisoned and Oz has accidentally been turned into a cat. As they try to turn Oz back to himself they start to stumble upon a deeper mystery than either of them had anticipated.
The artwork for this graphic novel was well done and the story was engaging. I did think that there were a few parts towards the beginning that were not explained well, but you understand more with time. Overall I feel this will be a very popular title for middle schoolers and up.

4.5/5
I love monster vs monster stories. This one is no different. Morgana is a witch and Oz is a vampire. I really enjoy the dynamic of Morgana being scared then fascinated by Oz, and Oz being disgusted and then confused cause Morgana is so nice.
Oz’s clan plans to break into the witch’s manor, but it gets messed up and at one point Morgana turns Oz into a cat. She is trying to become good at spell but so far not the best. Then she gets kidnapped at one point as well. It’s very high jinx and I was eating it up. I am excited to see where the story goes and how their relationship builds over time. I do hope they can mend the break between the clans.

This graphic novel has me feeling all of the feels. Morgana is a more eccentric and inexperienced young witch in the middle of political turmoil of her witch family and a local vampire clan. After a spell goes wrong, she is learning a lot about herself and making a friend.
Oz is adorable, and swoon worthy. I really enjoyed his character and I'm excited to see how his relationship with Morgana progresses, because they are definitely ship worthy.
Art wise, it reminds me a lot of color schemes and style used in whimsical Studio Ghibli style films. It is young, beautiful, and fresh. I found myself so happy reading it despite more moody color tones making up the overall palette.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this eARC. I picked this out because the premise and cover looked really cute and eye catching and I was pleasantly surprised that it was INCREDIBLE. It’s such a fun and unique story, the art is beautiful, I genuinely loved every second of this and will be eagerly trying to get my hands on volume two. I need Morgana and Oz in my life.

Liked the art work, plot moved along at a good pace and does have a little cliffhanger at the end, but it left me wanting more from this series.

I will be reviewing this for publication on fergusfallsjournal.com and madisondailyleader.com, and it will publish shortly before/after the graphic novel publishes.

I received an eARC of this title through NetGalley in return for an honest review.
I remember being told that if I like webtoons, I should check this title out. While I never got the chance to get into it then, I am likely to look for it now. This story was cute and intense, with intrigue and comic relief abundant.
While some of the plot comes off a little cliche, Morgana being a witch who cannot control her powers but has a lot of it, the story runs smoothly and makes sense. Each character is shown a different side to their world than they previously realized in this volume. The art is well drawn and colored.
I will definitely be looking for volume 2.

The vibes are immaculate! I adored this graphic novel from start to finish. There’s something about witchy characters that alway pulls me into a story, but add vampires and a feud to it and I’m sat. I cannot wait to continue this adventures, equal parts adorable and macabre.

This was the cutest story I've read, it was such an adorable start to a graphic novel. The art was done well and fits the story perfectly. I love the slow start to this story and I am definitely excited for the next volume after Morgana turns Oz into a kitty.

I've said it before and I'll say it again – I am such a huge fan of Morgana and Oz! I am SO glad I got to preview this book early!! I will 100% be buying my own copy of it because it's great to read the webcomic conveniently on my phone sometimes but I love have a physical copy on my shelves to loan out or just flip through when I want to. I also had the opportunity to read & review the "Learn to Draw Morgana & Oz" and the "Official Morgana & Oz Coloring Book" that published a few months ago and I loved both of those, as well!
It's hard to put a finger on it specifically, but this story Miyuli created is just so special to me. It's the art, yes, but it's also the characters and how multi-faceted they each are (including the supporting characters because they are wonderful!) This magical world is such a fun one to read about and discover more of. I love following along with it as new episodes come out from Webtoon and will definitely be continuing to do so.
I'll conclude this by saying Morgana and Oz are the cutest witch-vampire couple out there and you should be reading their story because Miyuli did a fantastic job with it! Can't wait to read more from this author in the future ✌🏻

Morgana is a sweet and well-meaning, but naive, young witch who can't seem to get any sort of control over her magic. Oz is a vampire in a rival clan who is more bark then he is bite. When the vampire and witch clan meet to try and make peace with each other, Morgana has a magic mishap and turns Oz into a kitty.
This was SO adorable and a very quick read. This feels like a really good introduction to the characters and to the beef between the two clans. I'm looking forward to seeing how the clan dispute progresses and where Oz and Morgana's growing friendship(?) goes. The art style is also very pretty! I love the way the hair, clothes and the witch clan house is illustrated.
Thank you NetGalley and Webtoon for the e-ARC!

This looks like a very promising graphic novel. The illustrations are beautiful and the story looks engaging. However, the watermark on each page made it very difficult to read. I am not sure why it was needed on every page, it really made it frustrating to look at. I do very much appreciate the chance to read this ARC and I hope to have more success with the next graphic novel that I am able to review. Thank you so much!

Cute webcomic, I’m glad to see more and more of these getting picked up to be traditionally published. The artwork and character design are nice and I’d be interested in reading the next volumes.
The story itself seems to have a lot of potential but for the first book it was a bit slow and kinda underwhelming… But hopefully the next part will get more into the main characters’ backgrounds and delve more into the things that happened in volume one, where this book covered more world building.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an ARC for review!

Morgana and Oz is a fun adventure that explores the tensions between witches and vampires and what it means to rise above our own expectations. Morgana was a charming main character to read from, always a little chaotic but true to herself. Oz was a great counterpart, always a little grumpy at the world, and became a favorite or mine as soon as his transformation (if you know you know) took place. While this first volume sets the stage, I'm excited to see where we go next.

I love a good graphic novel. Especially one with witches or vampires and this has both.
Though I enjoyed the story line. There were parts of it where the writing was jagged and it didn’t have really have a nice timed flow to it as other similar style reads do. However I devoured it quickly once it smoothed out. The illustrations were beautiful and I cant wait to find out what happens next. Lots of cliff hangers but they were placed perfectly making you eager to continue but not destroyed.

This graphic novel was ok it wasn’t pulling me in but I’m happy I read it. I also wish I could have had it on my kindle but I’m still happy I got to read it.

This was a fun, quick paced webtoon with cute art. I loved the whole vampire meets witch possible romance that is going on. The warring factions and the two MCs needing to leave and now trust each other to find a cure for Oz turning into a cat was some good motivation. I get the Romeo and Juliet vibes. I'm intrigued, especially with that cliff hanger. I'll want to pick up the next volume for sure.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you Netgalley and Webtoon for this ARC.

Review:
I loved this! I first read it as a Webtoon and was excited to see this on NetGalley. I love Morgana and how, despite struggling with her magic, she still tries hard to practice. I love Oz and his broodiness, but also his kindness. I love the Romeo and Juliet aspect of it, the vampires vs. witches. I thought the story was interesting, especially Oz getting turned into a cat, which had me laughing. And you can tell there is more to the whole vampires vs witches than what we got and I can’t wait to find out more! The last bit of it had me on the edge and I can’t wait for more since it was only the first bit of the comic. And that crazy cliffhanger! Wow! So fun to read and such great art too!
