After reading the first title in the Rebel Blue Ranch series on Kindle Unlimited, I was so excited to receive this ARC and return to the ranch. I loved Ada and Wes. I thought their chemistry was off the charts. I so appreciated how open they were with each other regarding their mental health and trauma scars. I think Lyla writes a perfect combo of spicy and sweet, with the family scenes feeling like a warm hug. I'm not an outdoorsy person by any means, but her descriptions make me consider a visit to Wyoming to see the world she's talking about. I'm also obsessed with the cover art. The beautiful illustrations make this ebook reader want to purchase physical copies for her shelves. I can't wait for the next installment of the series. Take me back to Rebel Blue!

I loved this sweet book! I was so thrilled to get an advanced copy, after loving Lyla's first book in this series. I really love how Lyla makes us connect to each character, even when we don't think we have anything in common - it's a gift!

If you struggle with attachment issues or constantly build walls around you, you'll resonate with Ada. Her character is so relatable and makes you look inside yourself and want your own walls to crumble.

Halfway through the book, I fell hard for Wes. He selflessly brought out the best in Ada and let her be herself. He showed her how to be vulnerable, and then loved her for it.

Now, how long do I have to wait until the third book?!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. This book was one of my most anticipated reads of 2024! Lyla Sage’s writing is so engaging and I was instantly sucked back into Rebel Blue Ranch’s world and I loved it! I was giddy, emotional, all the feelings!!!

this book was so cute!! i absolutely devoured it reading it in one day. i read done and dusted last year and it was one of my favorite cowboy romances and was so excited about swift and saddled and it did not disappoint! wes and ada were everything i love about a black cat and golden retriever relationship. seeing ada grow more into herself and figure out what she wants. and i definitely related to her so some parts hit a little bit close to home. wes was EVERYTHING and i love him so much! the way we saw ada grow into herself after a toxic relationship and seeing wes treat her how she deserves was so cute. lyla really killed it with this one.

Sage does it again in this second installment in the Rebel Blue Ranch Series. I root for every character, I laugh and cry. If you want a steamy heartfelt contemporary romance make sure you check out Sage!

Lyla Sage is one of my new favorite authors. I couldn't wait to get my hands on to book two of the Rebel Blue Ranch series. I love that she keeps expanding on the Ryder family, and I cannot wait to dig into Gus and Teddy's future story.

I’ve never read a third act “breakup” that made me like a book even MORE…but somehow that happened here and it went from a great book to a REALLY great book

The character development was *chefs kiss* 😘 and I was twirling my hair and giggling every chapter. Everything about this book was so warm and cozy and loving I smiled the entire time. I literally can’t stop thinking about this book and Rebel Blue Ranch 🥹

I read done & dusted in less than 24 hours and I read swift & saddled in less than 12 hours!! I don't know what Lyla Sage puts in her books, but I cannot put them down. The writing is so easy, sexy and funny, but at the same time the characters and their problems are so relatable, profound and rare. Lyla handled their issues with so much care and love. I saw myself in so many of Adas and Wes' thoughts and worries. The spice was spicing !! The mouth on this man 😮‍💨😮‍💨 I love this series and I cannot wait for Gus' and Teddys book.

I absolutely loved swift and saddled! I read done and dusted and immediately read this one and I absolutely love the Ryder family and want so much more! Ada & Wes warmed my heart and I loved everything about this! I highly recommend. It had a lot of spice but not to much that it took over the story there was still plot and such a cute love story!

This book was just perfection. I loved Done and Dusted so naturally Swift and Saddled was an immediate want to read and i'm so glad I had the oppourtunity to read this prior to its release. I think that it will be a hit on Tiktok just as D&D proved to be. Our country boy himself was delectiable and your eally just fall in love with the whole town and dynamic.

I was so thrilled to receive an arc of this after loving Done and Dusted! I had really high expectations and I think they were very well met!

Both characters were so well thought out and we see so much insight into why they are who they are and how that affects them. I don’t always love the “reformed pick me” girl and it felt a bit repetitive how much Ada talked about it, when she still acted that way sometimes. You could definitely see her growth and how much she worked through to be where she is and accept the support and love around her.

I didn’t think anyone could top Luke Brooks but…… Wes is definitely up there. I loved how sure he was, he knew he wanted Ada and was ready to wait and give her whatever she needed to prove himself. He knew she was struggling to let herself be happy and he didn’t punish her for that. How he acted when she tried to run was the best thing.

This series continues to be amazing! There’s such a great family/crew that make you excited to read about them. The Ryder family dynamic is so fun and each character feels flushed out, even the side characters it feels like you know their personalities so well.

“He looked sincere as he said, “You say you’re not nice, or warm, or bright, or any of these other stupid fucking words that people use to describe the sun, but I never asked you to be the sun.” I rolled my eyes, trying to move them in a way that would stop the tears from falling. “I would rather have the moon anyway.”

Wow. I loved Ada Hart + Wes Ryder’s story 🤠🥀🪞🏠🐮

This book had so many of my favorite tropes!
🌹 golden retriever x black cat
🌹 sunshine x grumpy
🌹 he falls first and she falls harder

and my favorite trope of all time is someone who believes they are hard to love, and someone who love them as easily as breathing. 🥹🫶🏻 that’s what this love story is… it’s patient, it’s kind, and it’s gentle.

This book highlights major depressive disorder, and that was very beautiful and added raw vulnerability to their relationship, and made their connection deeper.

This book is for every shy, lonely girl who believes they’re hard to love. The girl who pushes people away and builds her walls up high. Just for the patient cowboy to come along and slowly takes down those walls brick by brick.

I was giggling & kicking my feet at Wes Ryder omg. THE blueprint. The spice was so good (Lyla can do no wrong), and it made their love story even sweeter. I truly loved how Wes & Ada started off hot and heavy, but then slowly fell in love. The tension, the crushing, and the build up was perfect! I enjoyed this different dynamic after reading about Emmy & Brooks.

The ending felt a little rushed and I needed more. That’s my only con and the reasoning for -.25 stars. I WANTED IT TO BE LONGER!!! It said epilogue and I was like what?! No!!! I know we will see more of them though in book 3 though so it’s okay💞🤭🫶🏻🤠

Apparently, Lyla Sage can do no wrong. I absolutely loved everything about this cowboy romance. I loved the mental health awareness. I loved the family dynamics. I loved the chemistry between Wes and Ada. I also want Ada's job and to live on Rebel Blue Ranch. Sage makes you fall in love with her characters, and now I can't wait for the next installment of the Rebel Blue Series!

Done and Dusted was a 6 star book for me so I was stoked to get to read this one early! Thank you to NetGalley for the arc of it - I flew straight to this one as soon as I turned the last page of Emmy and Brooks’ story!

Wes hires Ada, a designer recommended by Teddy, to help him renovate one of the houses on the ranch to turn into a guest home. She is recently divorced and looking for a fresh start - which leads to her unknowingly making out with Wes at a bar the night before they officially meet 🤪

I really loved the representation of depression in this book, and how sometimes the people you least expect suffer from it. I just love how close the Ryder family is, and how well all of their stories are woven together.

I will say there was just a little something missing that made it the slightest bit less magical than Done and Dusted but I can’t quite put my finger on what. Maybe I would’ve liked to learn more about Ada and Wes as individuals before the romance comes into play?

Aside from that, this book was wonderful and just as ooey gooey lovey dovey sunshine as the first - I loved the exploration of female friendship and just getting to spend more time in this magical setting. I’m so excited for the third book in the series, which there’s a bonus chapter of at the end of this book 😉 Lyla Sage is definitely an auto buy author for me!! 💕🎀🤠

Such a quick read! I was a huge fan of the first book and this one was no exception! When reading the first book I had a soft spot for Wes so finding out the next book was about him I was so excited! I loved the black cat x golden retriever vibe! I didn’t want this book to end! I loved that there was mental health representation. Dare I saw I like this one even more than the first book.

Ada was such a relatable fmc! I really felt her need of getting a new start and walking away from her past, her struggles with female friendships and her fears of love. Her healing journey felt raw and real, and I loved how well written her character was 🥹

Wes!!! I related to him the most. I loved how open and honest he was about his struggles with mental health and the way he spoke about them. He was so sweet and kind and patient and caring. The definition of soft and sunshine. Literally, everything that you want in a book boyfriend!! He’s the man you want in your corner because you know he’ll show up every single time ❤️‍🩹 & the mouth on this man!!!!🤭

them together was perfection, I love that they didn’t get together right away but that their connection and attraction still grew within that time. I loved the sides of each other that they brought out & their love just felt comforting and real to me. 🤍

the found family & their dynamics is what truly makes this book and series for me!! the friendship that is forming between Emmy, Teddy, Ada & Cam is so beautiful and the brothers never disappoint with the way they care for each other!! and amos, the mastermind that he is, this little family is everything to me!!!

Lyla’s writing is easy to digest but packs such a strong message. I’m truly so excited to continue this series and see where it goes!! love love love & I can’t wait for the rest of the world to experience wada 💖

we follow wes ryder, emmy’s brother from book 1, and ada hart. ada works for wes as an interior designer, fixing up an old house that he has always dreamed of turning into a guest house.

ada is such a complex character. she deals with insecurities about herself and doesn’t see herself as likable. she has walls put up and i loveeddd seeing wes tear them down!!! also, she formed friendships with the other girls of the series which was so sweet.

wes is the perfect man. he deals with depression and i loved the representation, especially in the mmc bc you don’t see that as often. he cares so deeply for the ones he loves, including ada. he’s so patient with her.

they are the moon & the sun!!! their connection was so genuine 🫶

the family/found family is perfect in this series. i especially love teddy & her dad and hopefully we’ll get to know their relationship better!

I really love this series by Lyla Sage. I head never read a modern cowboy romance until this series and it's so good! I like the way she has handled the "third act breakup" in both of these books. I really liked the pairing in this book and the steamy scenes were top notch! I also love the inclusion of the family and all of their antics. So excited for the next book!
