Thank you Netgally for this arc! Lyla Sage and Cowboys. Need I say more? The mental health rep was everything and I love that we see these themes in Lyla's books. So sweet and fun and spicy. Genuinely the perfect cowboy romance.

Adorable! I liked Ada and Wes’ story better than the first one. Wes’ confidence was perfect for Ada’s introverted insecurity. Loved their dynamic and I loved that the third act breakup barely lasted a page because Wes wouldn’t let it happen…so cute! A quick, easy, romantic and spicy read (literally all the things I love in a romance novel)
I loved this story so much! The characters in this series are so interesting and relatable. I loved Wes and Ada's characters and story.
lyla did her thing, i’m very happy with this book! i was interested in how this was gonna play out but it didn’t disappoint. the easy chemistry between rte characters made me smile and the payoff?? YEAH
I'm obsessed - this is SO GOOD!!!!!!
Black Cat heroine is one of my favorite fmcs. Ada was true perfection. And Wes? He is the KING. What more could you want in a gu?
The writing is beautiful and I love Lyla Sage's story telling abilities. I was completely submersed in this story and tbh I didn't want to leave Ada and Wes.
Also there's a scene with a baby calf and I damn near exploded!
I am fully immersed in the world that Lyla Sage has created and I will read every novel that takes place in this gorgeous universe. Her writing feels natural and magnetic--every word pulls you toward Meadowlark and the warm, genuine people who live there. There is so much heart on these pages.
Lyla Sage’s contemporary cowboy romances continue to deliver. I loved this just as much, if not more than Done & Dusted!
We head back to Rebel Blue Ranch and get to know Weston as he takes on a huge new project. Part of the restoration of the old house on the property involves working with the designer, who also happens to be the woman he made out with at the bar the prior night…
Ada is looking to grow her business and an opportunity this big is one she can’t mess up. That means staying far away from anything romantic with the man who hired her… Except Wes is persistent and even her hardened heart seems to be falling for his charms.
I can't get enough of the men of Rebel Blue! They are cowboy perfection and Lyla's writing is a delight.
Swift & Saddled was the perfect sequel to done and dusted. It’s a fun and vibrant cowboy romance where you’ll be out buying cowboy boots next week. The couples chemistry was off the charts
Liked this more than Done & Dusted but still felt like it was lacking some depth. Ada and Wes had great chemistry but I wanted him to put his foot down more lol.
“Can I touch you now? Please, god, let me touch you.”
This is the second book in Lyla Sage’s Rebel Blue Ranch series. & I don’t know what it is about her writing but when I tell y’all I ATE this book up. Like a starved women. I couldn’t get enough.
I really was anticipating it being great, but I LOVE book 1 so much j didn’t think it’d be close to that but DAMN. This book was up their neck & neck with Done & Dusted.
“I wanted him - the man looked at me like I was worth looking at.”
Truly, this man, made me weak in my knees for him. Swooning from the go. Which, Wes was the quiet character in book 1 so I was really surprised (in the best way) it’s always the quiet ones 😏

WADA 4 LYFE 💜 I was stocked to receive an ARC of this book from @netgalley and @thedialpress and loved every minute of it. Wes and Ada were everything I wanted them to be and more and Lyla really outdid herself with this one. I absolutely ADORED Wes from the beginning of Done and Dusted and fell even harder for him in this book. As a fellow middle child, I relate to Wes is so many ways and his chapters had me all in my feels. I love the way he loves his family and the way he shows Ada so much love and care. Ada is such a badass and I love how she grows throughout the story and really heals from her past had my heart breaking and being put back together throughout the store. Wes and Ada were perfect together and they only made each other better. Everything about being back at Rebel Blue was amazing and getting to see more of Emmy and Luke and Amos and Gus was 🥰 I cannot wait for Gus and Teddy’s story and I REALLY cannot wait for Book 4.

Review:
I thought this book was so fun! I loved Weston and Ada’s dynamic. I really liked Done and Dusted when I first read it and I’m glad to say enjoyed this one too. I think Lyla Sage is really starting to find her voice as an author and I’m excited to see what she does next. I was also head over heels with how sweet Weston was to Ada and how he was patient with her. He wears his heart on his sleeve and it’s pretty adorable. I’m starting to think I have a thing for cowboys haha. I definitely recommend this book if you’re looking for a fun romance to read.
Thank you Netgallery and Dial Press for an ARC in exchange for an honest review
I love this book so much!!!! I read it in one sitting and I can now for sure say I have gained a new book boyfriend. Ada's and Wes relationship is just so pure and cute! This book is perfect if you like.....

As expected, I absolutely loved this book! Bring back at Rebel Blue Ranch was just so comforting!
I loved how Sage incorporated realistic mental health topics so seamlessly into the romance. Wes was such a sweet, golden retriever of a hero. Watching Ada learn to trust and love again with him was a dream!
The first book in this series was such a breath of fresh air, especially in a subgenre of romance that had previously felt like outdated and a bit toxic (cowboy romances from yesteryear). Swift and Saddled truly cemented Lyla Sage as a go to author for me when I want a heartfelt, yet sexy, romance with a side of cowboy and a heaping of patient understanding for their woman.
I think I loved this more than the first, and that’s saying a lot because I thoroughly LOVED the first book, and now I am on pins and needles for book three!
I mostly read these days thanks to audiobooks, and with this story I read both kindle and did the audio and OMG did the audio stand out! The dual narrators for the dual POV knocked it out of the park and breathed so much life into these characters. I highly recommend both the book in general, and the audiobook particularly.
I enjoyed this book much more than the first book. But this book was almost too easy for the characters. They didn't have much of anything to over come. Ada is a city girl by all means but she wasn't afraid to get dirty which was a nice change to your typical city girl. I loved how Ada and Wes met each other. But the romance between these two characters were a little rushed. Ada was supposed to be friends with Teddy but I don't seem them being as close of friends as I thought compared to the other books. Wes was such a sweet guy and I loved that he was the one struggling with mental health than the female lead. It was a refreshing change. And I love how he was actually taking steps to take care of it. I do wish we saw more of what happened between Ada and her ex husband. I feel like there a story there itself. I love the cover for these books. I can't wait till I get to read the book about Teddy and Gus.
“Swift and Saddled” by Lyla Sage is a solid, sweet cowboy romance. Ada is an interior designer looking for a fresh start in Meadowlark, WY, where she happens upon Weston Ryder, middle son of the Ryder family. After a scorching kiss at the bar one night, Ada realizes that Weston is actually her boss and in charge of the renovations of the guest ranch on Rebel Blue Ranch. While they try to deny their attraction and chemistry, they soon realize it’s better to give in and let each other support and love each other. Ada has a tough exterior but is a softie inside and Wes is just a pure cinnamon roll. Lyla Sage does a wonderful job of integrating emotional and mental health issues into the story line without it becoming a whole personality trait. It is very refreshing to see in books!
It was wonderful to see Emmy and Brooks from Done and Dusted and to be back at the Rebel Blue Ranch! I can’t wait for the next installment in the series, which I think might be Teddy and Gus!!
Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC!
I was originally drawn to Swift and Saddled because I loved the first book in the series Done and Dusted. Unfortunately, while I think this is a strong romance that will find it's audience, I was personally a little disappointed. On one hand I really enjoyed the setting and the male love interest. On the other hand I felt like their connection in the beginning of the was purely physical, which I don't prefer in my romances. It wasn't until the middle of the story I felt they truly started to form a bond and a relationship. I also felt like Ada's backstory could have been explored more. However, I do enjoy Lyla Sage's writing and will be continuing on with the series.
Thank you NetGalley and Random House for the ARC!
Not my favorite by this author. I may just not be into the cowboy romance thing but those that are into that trope would love this series.
Is there such a thing as cozy cowboy romance? Because I think this is it! Low stakes, charming characters, and hunky cowboys... what else can you ask for? It was kind of nice just to read a fluffy book. Nothing that was going to send me into an agonizing spiral. The characters were still real and relatable, but there wasn't all that angsty miscommunication bullshit that gets annoying pretty quick. Like yes! Talk to each other! It's not that hard!
Anyway, Lyla Sage remains an author I reach for when I need a simple, cozy story that's not going to make me want to gnaw off my own arm. I can't wait to see what she writes next for Gus and Teddy!
