It’s not the author’s fault but I found the poems boring. It took me forever to dredge through this book. I wanted to love it as I love history and poetry.

I fear that I can’t really add anything new to what is in the description already printed . I can only say that I experienced a perspective of the presidents that I never had before. It’s fascinating! I can’t imagine the poetry they wrote. I am so glad I got to read a different aspect of our United States presidents.

Good research but I didn’t like a lot of the poems. You really really really have to enjoy American history and knowing about these guys to like some of the poetry,

This was a fairly boring collection of poetry. A few of the poems were interesting, but not enough of them were interesting enough to make this a collection of poetry I would recommend to anyone.
