Dark shadows on coronation close, another great read in the series. The story centers around Thelma and Jenny and their families who all live in coronation close. As with all Lizzie lane books, it’s a great story, with great characters, all having their own story to tell, but mixing in to make a wonderful book. Definitely worth 5 ⭐️

Another great book in the Coronation Close series. Lizzie Lane is the best when it comes to books of this genre and time set, she really manages to capture the feel of the people during these years.
Great story and wonderful characters.

I love a book that has a bit of everything, family, suspense, working life and not forgetting the romantic part.
Coronation close is a tight-night group of neighbours so when a stranger is lurking someone will notice. Jenny Crawford is busy in her garden when she spots the stranger who looks as if they are watching her friend Thelma’s house, Jenny feels duty bound to pass this on, is it who Thelma thinks it is and just who are they watching and why. So many questions that will keep you turning the pages.
I especially loved that after only a few pages the characters were familiar again, my favourite one was Robin who was so patient. My least favourite was Doris for her selfishness. Recommend it.
