I really wanted to like this book because the premise had so much potential. I was hooked at first, but wow, there was just ''so much'' going on that it became hard to keep up. It felt overwhelming at times. And honestly, the FMC (Fran) was a bit of a letdown—she came across more like a teenager than a 28-year-old woman, and I found her pretty dull, if I’m being honest. I hate to say it, but this one just wasn’t for me.

Thank you NetGalley for the digital ARC of this book!

This book just wasn’t for me. It felt a bit juvenile for my tastes. It dealt a lot with K-pop, which I know nothing about and couldn’t relate to. Also, check your trigger warnings before you read. I’ll likely not try this author again, but this book/author might be for you!

Caroline Khoury's "Still Unwritten" is a captivating and emotionally charged novel that delves into themes of destiny, choice, and the power of unresolved pasts. The story centers on a protagonist facing critical decisions that could alter the course of her life, intertwining her journey with flashbacks that reveal significant moments and choices from her past.

Khoury's prose is expressive and poignant, effectively drawing readers into the protagonist's internal and external struggles. The narrative seamlessly blends past and present, highlighting how history and memories shape our decisions and futures. "Still Unwritten" is a thought-provoking read, offering a compelling exploration of how our stories are shaped by the choices we make and the ones we don't. It's ideal for readers who enjoy novels that explore deep emotional landscapes and the complexities of life's turning points.

If you like K-Pop, you'll love this book. I've never listened to K-Pop no do I know much about K-Pop, so it was hard for me to get into this book. I would check the trigger warnings as it does deal with suicide and aging parents. It's a complex story about finding love and dealing with family.

I .hate givinga a books a little stars rating, but what can I say I just didn't feel this one.
I didn't connect to the MCs, to the storyline.
It was cute, but not for me.

I couldn’t put it down! I loved the romance between the two MCs. I’ve been recommending it to everyone since it came out.

Loved this book, such a great and loved how quick the story moves but the detail doesn't lack. Struggled to put this down, but also did not want it to end. Also loved that it was just a love story of two characters but also so many stories happening amongst family and friends, which tied it all together. So beautifully written and have found a new author to support and read other books by.

This book was easy to read and has you hooked on the story very quickly. I loved the representation of different countries and cultures, which made the book and story really interesting.

The main characters had some great development both together and as their own individual characters which is something that I find very important. At times there was a bit too much happening at once, but other than that the book was cute and enjoyable.

Its sweet and cheesy at times but it works, a very easy read.

This was a really sweet and fun romance, I really enjoyed the concept, although found myself confused by the POV at times. Otherwise couldn't fault it.

This is a light-hearted romcom story.

It is cheesy but deals with trauma, anxiety, complicated family relationships.

I loved the diversity and all the languages.

A struggling actress and a K-Pop star who is not as anything that meets the eye.

Easy read with lots of love.

A cute story really loved the concept writing was a bit hard to follow at times would have loved to see his POV

I don't feel like it had enough romance for it to be a romance as it seemed to center more on the FMC and MMC facing their problems.

The plot could have been developed better there was just a lot going on and I feel like she forgave her mother way too quickly.

It was a cute read but didn't blow my mind.

Received as an e-arc from netgalley all thoughts are my own

Still Unwritten is an escapist romance between a K-Pop star in hiding and a wannabe actress from Italy. The scenery is probably the most enjoyable character and setting in a book and I really want to go there. The book took a long time to get into and even then I was just not sure I liked it all that much. The setting is great, some of the characters are great but the two mains just didnt connect and resonate with me as much as I had hoped. I think a lot of people will like this book, it just didnt capture me.

This was gorgeous. Lovely romance but also great world/character building. Overcoming trauma and finding where they fit into this world. It was cheesy, as all romance books are, but so beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed this.

it is apparent that the target market was the swifties but being one, this book did not resonate with me. it just felt over the place and topics weren't discussed as much as i'd want to as it jumped from one to another.

This was overall a really sweet romance. I really enjoyed the aspect of two people trying to find their way in the world and they leaned on each other to do that.

There were a lot of heavy topics in this book, I think they were handled really well and I liked the way they were explored throughout the story.

The romance could have been a little bit more fiery for me, I wanted a bit more passion. It was cute and really sweet, but I just felt something was missing in the relationship. It didn’t deter me from loving the characters, but they just haven’t ended up being a favourite romance couple I’d want to read more of!

Overall, I loved the premise of the story and I really enjoyed seeing the FMC being an amazing person/friend.

✅Rockstar romance. Francesca (Italian) is a struggling actress in London. Jae-seung (South Korean) is a KPop star.
✅ forbidden relationship
✅ Lots of Taylor Swift references
🌶️: a little

This was a sweet read, but it had way too much going on. I understand that characters are human, and need their own backstories, but this was next level. It hit the point there were so many negative, hard topics that we couldn't focus and get into the story.

3/5 stars. Thank you NetGalley for the advance e reader copy!
