Really quite short collection that is easy and quick to read. It's about romantic love, I'd say, dating and everything that comes with it, good and bad moments included. The approach to these subject felt quite contemporary and down to earth, not too cheesy or anything like that. I liked the writing style, the poems were really short (too short?), but maybe I wasn't quite the target audience, since I didn't understand many of them. Maybe I'd be willing to try some of the author's other works in the future to determine if the author's style isn't for me personally or if it was just this collection.
poetry collection is short but engaging while reading it. I wouldn't mind reading more from the author
It was cute little poem book ,i enjoyed reading it , the cover is very beautiful that drew my attention on the first place,. the poems are focus on the love and life , and they all have wonderful meanings . Overall it is a very beautiful book of pomes and i would recommend reading it.
Thank you NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for the chance to read and review this book.
While I had high hopes for this, the book wasn't actually very good. The poems were written very simply but were quite cheesy. I also feel like spinster is such an odd concept to bring up in 2023.
I love how simple each poems are but have wonderful meanings. Tolu' is amazing with his words. This poetry book is worth recommending to other readers.
The poems are a bit hit or miss. Breakfast, Play Right, A Write Off, and Choices were all hits in my opinion. Like me, I'm sure others will discover their hits and appreciate Tolu'A Akinyemi's writing.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing this ARC.
I find poetry is a hit or miss genre and unfortunately this collection of poems did not resonate with me. These poems focus on love and life, but they just did not hit home for me. I am sure there are plenty of readers who will adore these poems.
Not quite what I was expecting. The poems felt much more fun and light than what I thought they'd be like for a book of poems about love.
I loved this collection. I was highlighting some sections of the poems, sometimes an entire poem. There's definitely a poem that will resonate with everyone. It was beautiful crafted and thought out. I'm going to be adding a physical copy of this book for my shelves. Cannot recommend this one enough.
Thank you, NetGalley for the chance to read this. Now, I have to say I'm not usually the kind of person who really understands poems, though I still love reading them. This one was definitely an interesting read for me - I really loved Plot Twist and Memoriam. So if poems are your thing, definitely give this one a try. It feels like a journey you might want to take.

The cover and the description of this chapbook immediately drew my attention, as what is more universal than love? This poetry collection is comprised of 27 short, moving poems. As is the way with poetry, some poems resonated with me more than others. "Onward" and "Light" in particular really struck a chord.
In summary, Voyage is a short, sweet, and accessible poetry chapbook that I recommend.
