This was an interesting read but nothing really mind blowing for me. I thought it was interesting that the author says we're not really asked to tithe.
This is great! There aren’t enough books that emphasize the importance of giving in the way of tithes and offering. With what is happening in churches who are struggling in our current economy, this would be a book I’d recommend. What we have is not ours, but is God’s and it is our privilege to give our time and money. I will note that about 12% the way through, there was a typo “Pau” where is should have said “Paul”.
Thank you, NetGalley and B&H Publishing Group, for my free e-copy in exchange for an honest review.
I loved this book. The length of the book made it easy to read and the content was solid biblically and helpful practically. I appreciated the way that the author started first with a history of biblical tithing back to the Old Testament and the theology of the law and Christ came and fulfilled it. I think that this book captures well what biblical generosity looks like while calling out unbiblical financial heart attitudes and practices.
I would highly recommend this book!
