Missing baby…….or something more…..

When Haley gets an awesome opportunity to babysit for an Uber rich couple she thinks she’s landed the job of the summer. Until she’s suddenly accused of losing a child she didn’t even know existed!!! She thought the family only had twins but turns out they also had a baby named Fallon…..why did nobody mention this?
When her past rears its ugly head will anybody believe she’s innocent.

So I struggled with this book. On the surface it’s a quick and easy read. About halfway through I realized that the characters personalities seemed superficial. The author kept throwing out theories for the reader vs giving things. I think I got whiplash from all the different ideas. Honestly I think if that is your kind of book you will love this read. I just tend to like my mysteries a little more subtle .

Thanks to net galley, Bookouture, and Shari Ryan for this chance to read the digital ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

The Pefect Nanny by Shari J. Ryan started off strong for me and continued to build toward a shocking climax, though I felt that the latter part of the narrative ventured slightly too far into the bizarre.

Haley is a college student seeking summer employment. When an opportunity arises to nanny for Lara and Corbin Smith's twin girls, the chance is too good to pass up. Her first night on the job, however, takes a very dark turn when the Smiths return home from an evening out to discover that their baby is missing, a third child whose existence was never made known to Haley.

So unfolds an intriguing whodunit that will have Haley in the crosshairs of a mystery that becomes more and more complex as the plot well and truly thickens. 3.5 stars

Many thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for an ARC.

This book started off with a bang and hooked me right away. All of the characters appeared to be very likable in the beginning, but about halfway through I wasn’t sure who I could trust. Twist after twist after twist. I read this in one sitting as it was fast paced and exciting, however I found that many parts were not realistic and I much prefer a more realistic approach to a thriller. The writing style kept me engaged and overall I enjoyed it.

I absolutely loved the start of the book, the writing style, the twists and all. I have some mixed feelings about the end, though. But overall, it was a very interesting read !

Thanks to Netgalley and Bookouture for access to this arc in exchange for my honest review.

Who doesn’t love a good nanny book? A gripping thriller that starts on simmer and builds to a boil. Dazzlingly clever, twisting and constantly surprising. An unputdownable rollercoaster of a read.

Some parents have busy lives and they have the feeling they don't spend enough time with their little ones as they should especially during holidays. One solution could be to cut back and take time off. Another solution could be to hire a nanny to help.

Lara and Corbin decide on solution 2 and it seems like they were lucky in finding the perfect nanny. This really feels like the start of a very good working relationship or is it the beginning of a nightmare. The question is who is haunting who...?

I was pulled into this story from the very beginning. There were so many characters I trusted one moment and would have run from as far as I could the next. I kept pointing fingers, but started doubting this decision just as fast.

And then suddenly, there was that dawning realisation...

A great book with heartbreaking passages, twists and turns and filled with riddles. I enjoyed this author's first thriller a lot and this one was as wonderful. 5 stars

Thank you
