This is one spicy book and I loved it!! It follows a married couple in their 40's who find they are growing apart. In a desperate attempt to save their marriage, the husband tries to woo his wife and includes all sorts of bedroom gymnastics even though it rarely happens in the bed!!
The characters are relatable and are true to life. It's a well written book but the spice level really is what did it for me! This is the first book I've read by this author and would love to read more!
I enjoyed reading Laken and Paul's story. I like that this was an older married couple on the verge of a divorce. I would have enjoyed more storyline with my smut. But all in all the book was a fun read.
She had a gorgeous sexy husband, beautiful home, and two successful grown children. Layken was lonely. It's been a long and agonizing process but she knows that she needs more of a purpose than stay at home housewife. She has to plan for the future, her future, without Paul.
I really don’t think this book was for me. However it could be right up someone else’s alley!
It just didn’t scratch my brain the way I’d hoped it would. I loved the idea of an older couple spicing things up but it didn’t pan out for me.
Love Me Like You Do is a seductive story about a failing marriage and the search for a passionate reunion. Paul sets out to win back his wife Laken by stimulating her senses and rekindling their passion after learning that she is thinking about divorcing.
The entire copy of the Complete Five Senses Series is contained here. This is quite spicy. The five senses are used by the husband to court his bride. I'm having a great time reading this book. You read at your own peril.
I really enjoyed how this novel managed to combine a sensual romance with real emotional depth. With each individual battling their own ambitions and fears, the characters felt remarkably real. Paul's resolve to keep his marriage intact and Laken's quest for self-awareness were both inspiring and realistic.
The book combines themes of a failing marriage, second chances, and the difficulties of intimacy and connection throughout. The plot is deepened by tropes like later-life romance, troubled marriages, and second chances at love; the hot scenes are spiced by kinky romance aspects like BDSM and voyeurism.
The suspenseful nature of the book was one of my favourite elements. I was glued to the screen, eagerly turning pages to find out what would happen next because of the plot's unexpected turns. The scenes were masterfully written, flitting between tense, passionate, and reflective times with ease.
There were a couple small issues with "Love Me Like You Do," even though I really liked it. I thought some of the character backstories might have been explored a little more, and there were moments when the pacing seemed a little too quick.
This book is a must-read for anyone who enjoys moving stories and sensual romance. Readers who appreciate stories about mature relationships, second chances, and complex character dynamics should definitely check it out. Fans of writers such as Sylvia Day or E.L. James will be enthralled with Minx Noir's gripping storytelling style. Just be mindful of the triggers woven throughout the narrative, which include explicit sexual content, marital issues, and emotional pain.
This very short collection of stories was not for me. They all seemed very stilted and I just didn't care about anyone. The story was kind of meh and just didn't grasp me at all.
Thank you NetGalley and author Minx Noir copy in exchange of my review.
"Six weeks. Five senses. One chance.
When an attorney at a rival firm alerts Paul that his wife has been searching for a divorce lawyer behind his back, his whole world shatters. But, truth be told, the signs were there; he’d just ignored them. With both of their daughters now in college out of state, Laken is restless and lonely. And Paul–who’d once been a doting husband–is truly married to his career.
But when faced with losing the love of his life, Paul concocts a plan. Combining the five senses with Laken’s love of romance novels, he sets out to make her fall for him all over again, reigniting a spark that sets their hearts–and bed sheets–afire."
This is the complete copy of the Complete Five Senses Series. This is very very spicy. The husband wooing his wife using the 5 senses. I thoroughly enjoy reading this book. Read at your own risk.
This was a spicy little number!
I loved the concept of it being an older established couple, heating things back up... no insta love, no one night stands... REAL LIFE!
If you're looking for something fun and HOT, I highly recommend

Love Me Like You Do by Minx Noir - 4.5/5 ⭐
My oh my. Firstly, incredibly picky when it comes to smut. I need an equal amount of smut and story. If there's no story, it bores me, if there's no smut, it bores me. You can't win with me! But, Love Me Like You Do was perfect!
The story and plot kept me gripped! It kept me interested and satisfied, the main thing I want from a book. And the smut? That's just a huge added bonus. I've read a lot of smut books over the last year and unfortunately I have yet to give one more then 4 ⭐ because of the lack of plot.
The writing in this one was phenomenal. It was descriptive and kept me intrigued. I was so enthralled with the smut as well as the story. The entire thing kept me going and I read it within 2 days.
Characters were the absolute best! I can't fault the writing behind them. It was just amazing. The whole thing. Front to back. Phenomenal.
Thank you to NetGalley and Minx Noir for allowing me to read this ARC - this is an HONEST review from my own personal opinion.
Wow, what a HOT HOT SPICY read!
Paul and Laken are a married couple with two grown up kids who have just moved out, and as a long term married couple they have grown apart. Paul has been immersed in building his legal career, and Laken has been a stay at home Mum and has grown to resent playing second fiddle to Paul’s career and starts divorce proceedings.
This is the catalyst for Paul to fight for his marriage, and to win back Laken and to show her how important she truly is to him - and he starts with spending time reigniting the couple’s sexual bond and fulfilling all their fantasies.
Minx has managed to create a novel that’s not just super spicy, but also features three dimensional characters. I cannot wait to read her next books!
Such a cute idea for a book! Husband and wife are struggling in their marriage and the husband decides to try and woo his woman and win her back by doing something special for her in each of the five senses! LOTS of smut but also a very good storyline!
♡ Tropes:
• Marriage in trouble
• Second chance at love
• MCs in their forties
• Kinky
• Food play
• Voyeurism
• Public play
• Five senses involved
• Plan to make her fall back in love with him
• Dual POV (1st person)
♡ This story... I first read it as little novelettes, and each time I was dying to read the next book. I absolutely fell in love with them! I won't say I'm not a fan of troubled marriages, but I haven't read many of them. But this one? It definitely became my favourite marriage in crisis story EVER!!!
♡ I fell in love with them throughout the whole book, I felt everything they did, it was like I was living in it. And that? That feeling? That's what I LOVE about a book. To be able to feel, to connect with the characters. And the damn hot scenes were just the icing on the cake!!!!
⚠ Be sure to check the TW before reading this book. The topics discussed are not for everyone. Respect your boundaries if you think this book might trigger you. ⚠
♡ I would also like to thank the author and Netgalley and for sending me an ARC of this super book!! ♡
Very sexy. Loved the heat. Some spelling errors that go me tripped up and putting the book down. Overall I liked the story and the couple.
I enjoyed the story and the development. Definitely a saucy book and would recommend on to others to read
I think this book is good if all you want to read is smut. I needed more plot to enjoy the story more. The story just didn't seem very realistic.
2.5 stars
This book was previously published as five novellas, and I think it actually worked better that way. Having them all combined results in a lot of repetition.
I have two main reasons why this book did not rate higher with me:
1. There is frequent mention of how they are “disconnected“ and how they need to “reconnect“. However, this reconnection only takes place with their groins. There is never any mention of reconnecting on an emotional level or an intellectual level. Like, just have a conversation with each other! Sex was never their problem.
2. Each of the novella’s revolves around one of the five senses, and I expected there to be some sort of explanation as to why. As a plot device, it’s clunky, especially some of the senses. I assumed going into the book that there would be some mention that this was a special interest of the husband, or the wife was fascinated by the senses, something like that. But no. It seems to be completely random and I don’t understand why.
Thank you to NetGalley for this advance reader copy. All opinions are my own.
I love, love love this book! I discovered Minx Noir on Amazon Stuff Your Kindle Day and they have quickly become one of my favorite authors!
I was introduced to this book when it was a series of novelettes (The Five Senses) when I got the first book on Stuff Your Kindle Day. Each novelette was sexy, intriguing, intimate, and everything under the sun. I was finally able to read the fifth part when reading the complete collection in Love Me Like You Do.
Love Me Like You Do follows Laken and Paul, a couple in their 40s, who seem to have lost their spark over the years. Laken believes that she is no longer happy in her marriage and makes the decision to begin the divorce process with her husband's rival law firm. Though the rival lawyer would love nothing more than to handle Paul's divorce and beat him in the courtroom, he breaks his attorney-client privilege by going to Paul and letting him know that his wife is seeking divorce advice. Paul takes this information as an opportunity to spice things up and save his marriage.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching Laken and Paul reignite their flame and rediscover the reasons that they love each other. There was a lot of sexual exploration, giving us lots and lots of spicy!
If I could critique anything, I wish there was just a tiny bit more story. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely appreciated the smut (which is the main reason I picked up this book), but seeing a little more into their life would have added the perfect touch.
I always tell people that I am not a fan of third-person POV, but the writing in this book was so captivating that it didn't bother me in the slightest. I was so invested in the story that nothing else mattered.
Sometimes I just need a book that is fast-paced and extremely spicy to get me out of a slump, and this book definitely hit the spot.
Troubled marriage and things that come with it. This book was relatable and if you've been married for awhile you'll understand the ups and downs. I enjoyed it. It was a quick read for me and easy to follow.
oooh, it's spicy as hell.
😅😅 This book is on another level of spicy. I read Spice but this was too much for me..lol!!!.I skipped so many parts just because of that. Don't get me wrong I am not saying the book was not good. It was good like really good. I am sure some people will love all the spice in there.
The book was well-written and all the ladies who love spice would enjoy that a lot.

So, I got my hands on an ARC of this book, and I gotta say, it was a blast from start to finish! I usually go for darker romance stuff, but this one was a bit lighter. Still, it brought the heat – seriously, it was spicy! 🌶️ 🥵
Paul, the main character, was dreamy as heck. Tattoos on his neck and knuckles, fitting suits, and the way he talked about Laken – total book boyfriend material. And the things he did to win her back? Oh, boy. He's like an alpha guy with a golden retriever personality for his girl. Weird combo, but it worked.
My only gripe? I could've used a bit less steamy stuff to make room for the why behind Laken going for a divorce. That part felt kinda skimmed over, and I wanted more deets.
Overall, it's a solid read, like 4.5 stars solid. Just wished there was more backstory. If you're into spicy yet sweet stories, this one's for you!
