This is book 4 in the Games Earls Play series. I have enjoyed all the books in this series so far and this one also did not disappoint. Christopher is the next Earl of Prestwick and also one of London's most notorious rakes. His family is believed to be cursed for their wicked ways, so once he inherits he decides to cheat the curse and reform himself and settle down. Tilly has a habit of causing scandal wherever she goes, and is better off staying far away from London. But when her good friend Harriet goes for her first season, she accompanies her to protect her from the Lo don scoundrels. Christopher decides to pursue Harriet, and Tilly steps in to protect her friend only to herself lose her heart to a most charming rake.
Such a captivating read! Christopher and Tilly were so well-matched. I enjoyed their interactions and the witty and fun banter between them. A light and enchanting read that I very much enjoyed!
I received a complimentary copy from NetGalley and Oliver Heber Books and am voluntarily leaving my review.
I have read Anna Bradley before and I enjoyed those books but this one, however, just didn't click with me. It didn't exactly match what was written in the blurb as Christopher fairly quickly decided to pursue Tilly instead of Harriett.
I also didn't like how Christopher's cousin who was only two months old and an orphan was the reason he wanted to get married. I felt blindsided by this fact as the newborn was never mentioned before and it really came out of nowhere.
The book was really low on steam, with some kissing scenes, and one scene where they have oräl sex and she gives him a bl0wj0b. The main side character was also her friend's dog and his friend.
The family curse plot wasn't developed much. His family members died very young in duels but is it really a curse? Why didn't they simply marry?

This was such a great story! A rake who suddenly becomes an Earl and is determined to break the family curse, turn from his wicked selfish ways and be a better man. What's not to love about that storyline. Add in a matchmaker who scandal seems to follow trying to aide her best friend find the perfect match and you have the recipe for a fabulous story! There was a lot going on in this book and I enjoyed every minute.
Christopher "Kit" Egan, 28 inherits the Prestwick Earldom when his young uncle dies in a duel. He's been a rake up until then and after he he witnesses his uncle die a terrible death he goes to the country estate to mourn and do a lot of soul searching. Long ago a witch cursed the family because one of the Earls compromised a young woman and refused to marry her and do right by her. As a consequence every earl after that has died a violent death before he was 30. Kit is determined to break the pattern and marry his best friend sister that they agreed upon seven years ago, Lady Harriett Fairmont.
Mathilda Templeton is the youngest of the sisters at 21 and just wants a quiet life out of the ton's cruel gossiping. Their mother ran off with her lover and the ton visits the shame on her daughters. The sisters are known to be matchmakers and she's helping Harriett with her current infatuation with Earl Wyle. He seems a devoted young man and they look like a perfect match. As Kit is in the mix for Harriett's hand Tilly gets to know him. Then Wyle goes too far and Kit finds himself in a bind when his friend insists Kit marry Harriett. Unfortunately he's really in love with Tilly. She turns around and tries to save him from the "curse". This was just a fun book with several hearts on the line.

I loved the interesting relationship between Christopher and Mathilda. She’s a sleuth and he’s a brut. The dog is the smart one when it comes to sniffing out trouble. The team is made for a most entertaining book. The humor was enjoyable and the romance was simply sweet. I liked that the book was an easy read without the heavy drama.
I enjoyed this series - I've read the previous ones about Matilda's sisters, and this one did not disappoint!
They are all fairly quick reads. In this book, Matilda is trying to keep her friend Harriet on the straight and narrow, away from would be rogues - to varying levels of success. She encounters Christopher who recently inherited the Prestwick earldom and is ... one of said rogues.
Worth a read. Light and fun.

I've really been loving this series by Anna Bradley. It's super cute and charming. There isn't a lot of angst, which is sometimes very needed when you read a heavy book right before, and it just makes me smile. Christopher and Tilly were adorable, and I enjoyed the secondary characters. This series is on the shorter side, which I've complained about before, because I want to always read more. I think that a lot of writers could not fit a lot of character development or growth into such a short book, but I can never doubt Anna as she is a master at crafting character driven stories ripe with sexual tension.
My last thought is that Anna Bradley, I love you. You'll always be one of my favorite writers. I will read anything and everything you write. I can't wait for the next one.
to the risk of sound redundant, man. crazy. in, love. is. my. favorite. thing. AND THIS DIDN'T DISAPPOINT ONE BIT . I LOVED. I LOVED IT. I LOVED IT.
Thanks to NetGalley for a copy of this ebook and this is my freely given opinion.
This is book 4 of the Games Earls Play series and can be read as a stand alone, even though it continues with another Templeton sister, Mathilda (Tilly). In this one, Christopher Egan is unexpectedly the new Earl of Prestwick, following the untimely, tragic, painful death of his dear uncle. Used to living life as a carefree rake, he has inherited the responsibilities of the Earldom, and also the care of his uncle's orphaned infant. Chris is also under the cloud of the family curse, and cognizant of his duty to marry well, give up his rogue ways and live an upstanding life. To this end, he has returned to London after his mourning period, intent on following through with an agreement he had with his childhood friend, to wed said friend's sister if he were to become Earl.
Tilly has accompanied her friend, Lady Harriet, to London to be her companion and protect her from fortune hunters and rogues. She has not intentions of wedding, herself, not wanting to abandon her older sister, and knowing that she is prone to scandal and folly. Thanks to a mischievous pup, she and Chris have a midnight meet-cute that, to her at the time, is anything but cute, and cements in her mind that Chris is the epitome of scandalous rake and should be kept away from Harriet at all costs, while aiding Harriet in being courted by the Season's Nonesuch, Lord Wyle. Chris, after their first ill-met meeting, cannot help but continue to be intrigued by Tilly, and her protective, caring, loyal personality and uses his prior association to Harriet and her family to further his relationship with Tilly, and convince her to be his countess.
This was a cute lighthearted romance with a bit of humorous misunderstandings, secret trysts, and a thwarted kidnapping. Generally enjoyable, and likeable, especially with the dogs and the secondary characters like Chris' friend, and Lady Fossberry.

An enjoyable read with just the right amount of spice. Not too long but a fun story with a little adventure to keep you on your toes.
Anna Bradley is a new author for me, and I thoroughly enjoyed this light-hearted romance, Earl Crazy. Christopher Egan ('Kit') is the new earl following the recent demise of his uncle, the previous earl. Kit decides that if he were to leave his scandalous behaviour behind and settle down to a life of wedded bliss, he would escape the curse that has plagued every earl in the family.
Kit has promised to marry his best friend’s sister, Harriet who is a sweet girl. Harriet's good friend Matilda ('Tilly') Templeton knows that should Harriet marry Kit it would be disastrous – a known rake who has engaged in debauched behaviour all this time. There is no way he will be able to settle down without reverting to his usual ways.
Kit and Tilly’s initial meeting is memorable; she is helping a drunk Kit back to his home late one night and this intrigues Kit who decides she should be his countess. He proceeds to try to convince her to agree. Lots of funny LOL scenes, wonderful characters and sweet, romantic story telling.

I read this book on a day I was feeling low and sick and it was an absolute perfect book for that. It is a romantic story in between Kit and Tilly who have a disastrous first encounter that propels them into each others orbit. It is a light and sweet story even though the underlying premise is a little dark. I think the cousin part was a little unnecessary and didn’t help the story move anywhere but I still enjoyed the book.
Thank you NetGalley and Olivia Heber Books for sending this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own.
Earl Crazy is book 4 in the Templeton sister series. This story is about the youngest sister Mathilde or Tilly. She's in town for her first season but has no intention to marry. She just wants to help her friend Harriet make a successful match.
On her first night I'm town, she meets the Earl of Prestwick Kit. He is handsome, but he is a rake. He's also interested in Harriet and that will not do. So she volunteers to help find him another bride.
Kit has already decided for himself that Harriet won't do. After spending time with Tilly, he decides that she is the only one for him. But she is convinced that she will not marry.
What's an Earl to do? Ask her to be his matchmaker, which gives him the excuse to spend time with her.
I liked the characters of Tlliy and Kit. I liked seeing their relationship develop. Butthe story seemed to make two abrupt changes within the space of a few pages that I was confused. At the same time a new character is introduced. I wasn't crazy about all those changes.
As a result...⭐⭐⭐
I want to thank Netgalley for the opportunity to review this book.
This historical romance was well worth the read. I adored it! Tilly is adorable and funny. Kit is mischievous and determined. I loved reading this match!
Many thanks to Net Galley and Oliver Heber Books for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
this was a fun book with good set up and stories and character, although once I finished the book, it didn't stick with me

Tilly is determined to help her friend Harriet have a successful season and marry the man of her dreams and make sure that Tilly doesn't cause any scandals.
Kit is now thr earl have a series of earls having died before him due to the family curse. He believes the only way to break the curse is to marry. And lucky for him, he has an agreement with Harriet's brother to marry her.
I think this book was a little too short and therefore not the best. I could have done with more connection between kit and Tilly. It all felt a little rushed and incomplete.
3 stars.
Christopher "Kit" Egan, suddenly finds himself the Earl of Prestwick, after the untimely death of his uncle. He's convinced a family curse is real especially after so many men in the family have died under unusual circumstances. Kit is determined to reform his rakish ways and find a wife. He does not want to be a victim of the family curse. His return to London is anything but ordinary when during a drunken episode, he meets Miss Tilly Templeton who tries to help him and nearly ends up drowning him. Now, he can't get the bewitching creature out of his mind and is convinced she should be the next Countess of Prestwick. Now, all he has to do is convince the young lady. to marry him.
Miss Tilly Templeton is only in London to support her friend Harriet during her Season. Tilly has vowed to behave with utmost propriety and not cause any more scandal to the Templeton name. On her first evening in London, she finds herself in a compromising position with the drunken Earl of Prestwick. How could she be so unlucky? She must navigate the Season trying to keep their secret. She never wanted to marry, but perhaps, the wicked earl could change her mind.
This was a cute story and I enjoyed it. I loved the banter between Tilly and Kit. Tilly was such a fun character. She tried so hard to be good, but always seemed to be in one precarious situation after another. The supporting cast added much to the story, although I think the ending when Kit rushes to save Tilly from an attack seemed a little far-fetched in how he even knew she was in trouble. This is a short read that can easily be read in one sitting. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.
When Kit's uncle dies in a duel making him an Earl, he knows he needs to change his wild rakish ways. All the males in his family have been cursed for hundreds of years to die in a duel as payback for a scoundrel ancestor. He's falling-down drunk. passed out when Mathilda finds him next door as she's looking for an escaped dog. I didn't think this was a great moment for a kiss between strangers. How is this romantic? It's a very short story. Mostly sweet as Mathilda tries not to cause any more scandal for her family. We know from book one her mother ran away with her married lover, leaving her five daughters to live with the ridicule and scorn. I would have liked a longer book with more details and drama. If you're looking for a cute, short read this would work for you.
A reformed rake is the new Earl of Prestwick. Promised to his best friend's sister, instead he falls in love with her best friend, Mathilda Templeton. Society considers it scandalous that three of the Templeton sisters married earls. The most eligible bachelors in London.
The curse on the Prestwick earls hangs over Kit's head, but he doesn't care as long as he has Tilly. Another engaging read from a favorite author. Descriptive sex.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
This was a really fun and enjoyable read. The chemistry is incandescent and the banter sharp and clever as the sparks fly between Tilly and Kit. The story itself is an enticing combination of emotion, heart, drama, humor, feels and heat that easily charms you and has you eagerly devouring every page.
The Earls of Prestwick are cursed, or so it seems. Because of their tendency to cause scandal, they seem doomed to die in a duel before the age of thirty. Christopher Egan, the current earl, is determined to break the curse. He has been betrothed to a shy, biddable sister of a friend for years. He has come to London to marry her. Mathilda Templeton, one of the infamous Templeton sisters and Harriett’s (Kit’s betrothed) best friend, is determined to thwart Kit’s efforts. Not to worry, Kit has turned his eyes on Tilly. This fast-paced, charming story has fun, a tenacious curse, snarky banter, a steamy slow-burn romance, and a precocious matchmaking dog. An entertaining read with a couple perfect for each other and a happy ending.
