This reads like a Hallmark Romance. Noelle is a YouTube Star who works for a Social Media company. When her views are down, her boss assigns her to cover Christmas in Christmas Town USA, also known as Evergreen Creek. A small town with a hunky young mayor, Collin. Noelle is a Grinch and can't stand Christmas the last thing she wants to do is go to Evergreen for Christmas.
When she arrives in Evergreen, Collin welcomes her and she begins to start filming the Christmas festival they've got going on. She soon learns the meaning of Christmas and learns to love the holiday as well. But will someone else's actions cause problems for her? Book is out December 5th, 2023.
"No. I don't think you have a heart of stone. I think you've built a stone wall around your heart to protect it. There's a difference."
Thank you to NetGalley for providing me this ARC. All thoughts are my own.
This book felt like watching a Hallmark movie. A grumpy girl meets the sunshine-y mayor. This was a super quick read and it is definitely one to put you in the Christmas spirit. I do wish that this book was a little longer, it felt like there were some instances where things were progressing very quickly and jumping around. All in all, I liked this. The characters were likable and it was fast paced.
Thank you NetGalley and publisher for this ARC!
This holiday romcom was so much fun! I enjoyed it so much! It was funny cute and the holiday backdrop was perfect. I loved the love story and the characters. Cute holiday romcom.
This holiday romcom did not disappoint at all. It was funny, super cute and of course had some holiday cheer which we all love to see this time of year. I enjoyed how the female character portrayed the grinch. The love story was a bit rushed but still managed to give me the holiday vibes I was looking in a holiday romance.
Laughing All The Way had a lot of potential, loved the idea that the FMC Noelle makes content with sassy remarks because I'm a very blunt person. I just thought it would be more of a plot point in the story and when she showed up to the small town for the Christmas festival, she was just nice pretty much the whole time. Didn't really make sense. Overall, just a meh holiday story.
Thank you Netgalley and Sterling & Stone for the eARC in exchange for an honest review!

Laughing All The Way had me laughing the first half and then rolling my eyes, like Noelle, in the second half. But, if you truly enjoy Hallmark Christmas movies, I wholeheartedly believe you will love this book. It starts with a cynical Christmas-hating FMC (Noelle) and a jolly Christmas-loving MMC (Colin), who also happens to be the town mayor. I'm sure you can guess how the story will go. But even through the predictability, the story was really cute and endearing. I would love to be a part of the magical Christmas festival and the town as a whole. The author did a fantastic job setting the scene and creating a town that even a grinch would enjoy being a part of!
Mini spoilers ahead:
I felt that things kind of started to disintegrate towards the end of the book, during the third act conflict especially. The FMC's assistant manipulated a chaos situation, ruined a relationship and created mistrust. But instead of getting upset, Noelle says it's probably for the best, and skips town!! What?? Excuse me?? She barely tried to set the record straight and just gives up. I didn't understand at all. She wasn't even upset with the assistant! Not even a little bit! It just didn't make sense to me.
There were a few holes and inconsistencies in the story that I noticed along the way. They didn't affect the overall story, but they did leave me scratching my head. In the end, I did like the story. Most of it was very enjoyable. Fans of Hallmark Christmas movies will enjoy this one too!
Thank you NetGalley for letting me read this book. It was adorable and felt like a hallmark Christmas movie. I loved the growth of Noelle and “the hot mayor”. My only complaint is that parts felt rushed, due to it being a shorter book, but I loved all of the little details. Super cute holiday read.
"This town IS my family." I absolutely adore Colin and his Christmas-y town. In the coziest way, this romcom is a perfect read for the holidays. I mean, it reads like your favorite movies (in a good way).
Noelle is snarky and hilarious (without necessarily meaning to be). She admits to being a bit of a snob, but hates being called an influencer. Obviously, she's not fond of Christmas anymore, and Evergreen Creek isn't exactly where she wants to be.
My favorite thing is that Colin can see through her tough veneer, but also not want to change who Noelle really is.

Laughing All The Way is a holiday romance and reads exactly like a Hallmark movie.
It is sweet, and when our Grinchy FMC reaches Christmas Town USA and meets its hunky Mayor, the ice around her heart begins to that and by the end of the book, a cute romance had developed.
My favorite part of the book was the final two chapters as I felt like they were the ones that brought the book together and made it worth the read.
It is a short, cozy book with no spice which I did not mind at all.
With that being said, this was not my favorite holiday romance as I felt that some points in the plot were rushed while others were longer than they needed to be. Also, some times the characters felt a little juvenile for my taste.
However, the book did scratch the itch, and I can honestly say it put me in the holiday mood.
I loved this sweet holiday romance. And the best part... it's part of the Kindle Unlimited catalog! In girl math, that means you can read for free! 😂
Influencer Noelle’s ratings are declining, so her company sends her to Christmas Town, USA, AKA Evergreen Creek, to highlight their Christmas Festival. Did I mention that Noelle despises all things Christmas?
Colin is the mayor of Evergreen Creek. Colin loves Christmas, but keeping the town running smoothly is stressing him to the max. And when Colin hears about Noelle’s visit, he’s determined to go all out including greeting her in a full Santa suit accompanied by a band playing Christmas carols. However, Noelle remains skeptical, until they have that moment under the mistletoe…
I love a good holiday romance, and this one was so cute! I found the characters lovable, especially snarky Noelle. If you’re looking for a Hallmark movie read, this is it! Out on December 5th!
Thank you NetGalley, Sterling & Stone, and Mia Summers for letting me review this book! All opinions are my own.
Thank you to Sterling and Stone for the chance to read this for an unbiased review.
Laughing all the way is an easy fun read. While it may lack the 'spice' of many seek it makes up for this with warmth, charm and and a town that makes you want to dive into Christmas.
The female character is strong and finds her way to what is a classic holiday town, to do a series, for her YouTube series. She's grumpy and Christmas is not her thing, until she meets the towns mayor, who is handsome and of course in love with all things Christmas.
The characters had good chemistry, though at times the romance felt a bit choppy. It is a short read which is perfect for winter nights and a bit of holiday cheer.
A sweet story and a fun Christmas romance. Not spicy if that’s what you’re looking for. 3.5 stars rounded up.
Lower star rating because a lot of the book was really repetitive :
"We had a flood in the library basement this morning, so we're hoping to make enough to cover that as well."
"Oh no! Were any books destroyed?"
Colin shook his head. "Luckily, no books were destroyed.
The flooding was in the basement, so the books were safe."
Thanks to NetGalley and the author for the opportunity to engage with this story!
As a self proclaimed lover of Hallmark Christmas movies and, well, Christmas in general, I’m finishing this book with an enthusiastic two thumbs up!
Laughing All The Way tells the story of snarky social media influencer Noelle, who hides her brokenness under sarcasm and humor- oh, and she also hates Christmas. Along for the ride is Colin, our family oriented, Christmas loving male MMC and mayor of the town where Noelle has received her next assignment.
As Colin works to offer his town- and Noelle’s viewers- a truly magical Christmas festival, both he and Noelle must wade through their preconceived notions and carefully constructed exteriors and decide if they have the courage to open up to themselves, and to each other
. Maybe it’s the hormones, but I both chuckled aloud and teared up reading Mia Summers’ latest work. A cup-of-cocoa in a book, this story is just the quick, holiday romcom you’ve been looking for!
This book read like a mix of a Christmas hallmark movie and Gilmore girls. Noelle was a sarcastic and independent female main character while Colin is the down to earth mayor. I loved the gender switch on the classic grumpy sunshine and the small town Christmas festival setting was absolutely fantastic to get you in the holiday spirit. I 100% got Stars Hollow vibes from Evergreen Creek with the town hall meetings, festivals, and the coffee shop being the town center! It’s a short read and that impacts the depth of the romance a bit but it definitely didn’t reduce the fun of this classic Christmas romance. I would love a longer book in the future and am looking forward to more from this author!!
Social media star Noelle is known for her snark, sass, and sarcasm, enrapturing viewers with her candid opinions. Soon, Noelle and her assistant Gretchen are assigned to review Evergreen Creek's legendary Christmas festivities. While promoting the events could translate to more exposure and higher fundraising profits, town mayor Colin makes it his personal mission to make sure Noelle only has positive things to say.
This Hallmark-esque small-town Christmas story leads to an inevitable romance complete with misunderstandings, grand gestures, and holiday cheer. Exactly what you'd expect.
Biggest downfall for me: Noelle isn't witty or clever. It's a bit amazing to me that her show was such a hit based on her schtick... and the relationship between her and Colin seems pretty one sided in terms of him being the one to go above and beyond to show his care for her.
Overall: 4 stars
I'll tell my students about: language, LGBTQ+, parental death, violence

Noelle and Colin were so cute. The progress of their relationship was so smooth and honestly adorable! My biggest gripe with this story is...Noelle is not funny 😭😭 Don't get me wrong, there were moments where I literally giggled out loud! Noelle, being the queen of sarcasm, just didn't work. It's not Noelle, it's me. I actually AM the queen of sarcasm--so I guess I just expected more.
That being said, Laughing All The Way by Mia Summers, is so cozy, so sweet, and so fast-paced. I might just reread this book every Christmas--cheesy jokes and all.
3.5/5 stars

this novella read exactly like a hallmark christmas movie. small town, reverse grumpy sunshine in the most picturesque holiday setting made this feel so cozy. it was funny and quick, while still giving you enough on the characters to care to read it.
this had no spice and read like a ya romance. a lot of the dialogue (and parts of the story in general) was almost painfully cheesy. it had me cringing and skimming over it at times because it was just… not my thing. but that being said, i think it was cheesy like most christmas books are so it didn’t ruin it for me.
at the end, i was just happy to see colin and noelle find their happy ending. it gave me the itch to start christmas decorating, too! 🤭
Thank you NetGalley for this opportunity to read and review my first arc!
A strong, independent woman who works as the lead influencer on a YouTube series which focuses on her snarky one-liners and brutal honesty is tasked with covering a towns week of Christmas festivities. Her task becomes more difficult when she meets the hot, Christmas-loving mayor.
This Christmas town, USA is the quintessential hallmark movie holiday town. This town reminds me of hallmark meets who-vile only in this case the fmc Noelle is the grinch.
I would have loved some more depth in the characters, I had difficulty really connecting deeply with them which was a bummer. However, this may have been affected by the third person pov , which I am generally not a fan of.
Overall, this was a nice quick read to kick off the holiday season, but I do believe it could have been executed better.
Thank you NetGalley and Sterling and Stone for the ARC.
This is like a feel good Hallmark Christmas movie to get you into the Christmas spirit, but in book form. It is a quick fast read. The romance felt a bit rushed, but the story is so short it makes sense. Light hearted reads just in time for Christmas.
