Thank you Netgalley for the arc.

I enjoyed this sweet little rom-com; I think this was the perfect read for the week before Christmas.

I enjoyed the small town setting, the grumpy sunshine trope and that the misunderstanding at the end didn’t have anything to do with an ex lover or something of the sort.

What would have kicked this up a star was some more spice. I didn’t enjoy the teasing and then turn back or getting right up to the point of a potential hook up and then backing out.

Thank you for giving me the chance to read this cute and fun Christmas book. I adored it! I loved the characters and the details about the Christmas town. This was super cute, and I wanted to know what happened next on each page. I'd love to know what happens next with the characters, and think this could be a full, adorable series!

Thank you the the publisher and Netgalley for the ARC on this book in exchange for my honest review.

I enjoyed Laughing All The Way. The author did a great job with the backstory on both of the main characters to explain why each one feels they way they do about Christmas. It was a nice fun holiday read.

She is a Grinch. He loves everything Christmas.

She is forced to cover a small town’s Christmas Festival for her social media job. He is the mayor of said town and the person in charge of the festival.

Can he charm over her snarky ways? This books is a cute, slow paced Christmas book and a fun holiday read!

Grinch Noelle has lost her love of Christmas but, is the hot mayor of "Christmas Town" enough to warm her heart? Sweet and festive romance straight out of a Hallmark movie!

The perfect holiday romance for Grinches everywhere! Will influencer and Grinch, Noelle, find her heart growing bigger when she's assigned to cover the Christmas festival in Evergeen Creek? She will if the hot mayor Colin has any say in it!

Did I seriously enjoy a "Hallmark Christmasy movies-vibes" book? Yes, yes I did.

I hadn't expected myself to like it, I thought it would be like all cringe movies where they don't even have any chemistry/interactions/purpose in life. But you know what? that's these are the things movies always fail to deliver. Now that I read my first rom-com with Christmas spirit kind of book, I think my type is now changed. It could be a one-day read, depending on how busy you are. Anyway, it was great and left me smiling and giggling (again romance is not my type).
.
I like women with their priorities straight with a sprinkle of sarcasm to cope with hard situations to deal with. Noelle was the perfect example of that. Same for Colin, he was kind of a sensitive guy but with a backstory like that. It made sense. I love opposite attracts a lot so they literally were like "Midnight Rain" and "Sunshine"

Gretchen, *SPOILERS ALERT* irritated me when she posted the video with the fake voice-over of Noelle. They should've scolded or even confronted her a bit harshly because I wanted to. Also, Geoff was a cutie, I love how he popped up everywhere to help them. He was like the "one-man army" of the town.

After reading this, I am now considering ditching my current TBR and starting any rom-com I could find lol.

Super simple story and writing. I feel like not a lot happened? But I enjoyed all of the Christmas elements!

This books reads like a Hallmark Christmas movie. There are a few lines that allude to the town of Evergreen Creek as one from a Hallmark movie so they don't exactly shy away from it. It's cheesy, sweet and a cute read to get you into that holiday spirit.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This was a Hallmark movie in a book. It felt a little bit fast though and I wish it had expanded more on certain parts.
Noelle is an influencer who is best known for being sarcastic and kind of making fun of things. She is invited to a small town, Evergreen Creek which is known as Christmastown USA. She is positive she will find tons of things to make fun of, but when she gets there, everyone has a story and none of them she can find in her hidden soft heart to make fun of.
Noelle was kind of all over the place for me, it's obvious she has a hard shell with a softer heart inside and she is deflecting any good emotions because of something in her past. I figured she would kind of try to keep her softer side hidden from at least some people, but she didn't which went against her internet projected personality. The mayor of the town Colin knew Noelle was sarcastic and didn't want her to hurt is town. Especially since the festival they are visiting is a necessary fund raiser to fix the school's roof and the library's basement. He was Mr Christmas himself and obviously loved his town. I really liked Noelle's assistant Gretchen. She was so optimistic and Christmas-y, the exact opposite of Noelle and she wasn't put off by Noelle's sarcastic attitude even if it was directed at her.
Like I said, I feel like some of the parts I felt went a little too quickly and I wish had been expanded upon. Everything felt a little rushed, but the book was under 200 pages so was quite short. There were a lot of events that were quickly explained, but others that were a good length I thought which made the pacing feel weird.
The ending was cute and absolutely typical of a Christmas book. I like how it played out.

Thank you NetGalley and Sterling & Stone for an advanced copy!

Influencer Noelle has earned a reputation for her sassy ways poking fun at everything. She just so happens to become a Grinch around Christmas time. So she's literally living her nightmare by having to do an assignment in self proclaimed Christmas Town USA for their annual week-long Christmas festival.

Colin is the youngest mayor in Evergreen Creek history. Since his mom was such an amazing mayor, Colin puts the entire festival on his shoulders to make sure it is successful. Though he loves Christmas time, he has forgotten what the holiday is truly about.

Once Noelle comes to town, Colin sets out on a mission to help her see Christmas through new eyes. Between hot chocolate, Christmas cookies, and ice skating, Colin pulls out all the stops. But will Noelle start to see Christmas in a new light?

This was such a cute Hallmark-like Christmas story that just leaves you with a smile on your face. The banter between Colin and Noelle was fun and kept me laughing. I loved all the fun ways Colin kept bringing to Noelle to help her see Christmas in a new way. The ending of this story is really what had me giving this 4 stars. Though I could see it coming, it was just a sweet ending. Read this if you are looking for a feel-good, smile on your face Christmas story.

A Cozy , Sweet Holiday Romance
🎄Sweet Holiday romance

Mia, an internet influencer, is a modern day sarcastic Scrooge whose parents divorced and abandoned her across the country leaving her with her beloved grandfather. After he died, her only love and stability was gone, leaving Mia bitter. Mia’s boss gives her an assignment to cover Evergreen Creek, otherwise known as Christmas Town, USA.

Colin, Mayor of Evergreen Creek, loves Christmas, but is working himself into the ground trying to keep his beloved town in the black. The Christmas Festival was his idea five years ago, in order to raise money for the community, and he will do whatever it takes to make it successful. Even if he has to teach Mia, the beautiful grinch, how to rediscover her Christmas joy.

This is the first book I’ve read by Mia Summers and it was such a whimsical journey! I truly felt like I was watching a Hallmark movie and could feel Mia’s heart grow with every person she met in Evergreen Creek. The events during the Christmas Festival made me want to find this town in real life! I recommend this book if you’re looking for a cozy read anytime, not just at Christmas. It will warm your heart ❤️. 4⭐️

i found the fme really annoying, and almost a bit childish because of her actions in the beginning, but she did grow on me as the book went on. i understand this book was only supposed to be a light-hearted little christmas romance story, and i think it did a decent job of doing exactly that.

thank you to netgalley and sterling & stone for the advanced reader's copy in exchange for an honest review.

A Hallmark movie in book form, and I love the Christmas town theme! Noelle is a "Grinch" that finds herself assigned to cover the town's festivities.
The female character was really hard to like though throughout the whole thing.

A feel-good Hallmark movie in book form. The short chapters and relatively short length make this a perfect read during the busy holiday season.
The plot is somewhat predictable, but in a good way. At the beginning, Noelle is a classic Grinch character, snarky and a bit unlikable. But you know Colin and Evergreen Creek (a/k/a "Christmas Town, USA") will work their way into her heart.
Mia Summers does a great job of writing atmosphere. From the high-energy stress of the busy city to the laid-back warmth and kindness of the small town, you can feel yourself there among the characters. The shifting POV adds dimension to the story, and helps us get to know both lead characters.
This book delivers exactly what you hope it will. It's a story with plenty of love - for small towns, the holidays, and family and friends.

Essentially a Hallmark movie in book form. Not substantial, nor memorable. Intro needs a bit more work as it did not pull me in -- I had to convince myself to continue reading and give this book a chance, but eventually I realized that I am not the audience for this book. Anyhow, if you're in a Christmassy mood and want to read something light and quick, this might be it.

This book is a cheesy Christmas Hallmark movie in book form - and I am totally fine with that. However, I wish the description was a little more along those lines. This is a fast paced, fall in love in a few days, grumpy-meets-sunshine and immediately spill life stories sweet rom com. I wasn’t quite prepared for how fast paced or cheesy this would be, but if you go into it expecting that, I feel like the read would be more enjoyable. Overall, it’s a classic sweet romcom with big city girl moving to a small town over Christmas after just meeting the mayor with a big heart (with several cheesy obstacles in their way). 3.5⭐️, 0.5🌶
