If you have ever watched a Hallmark movie, you have read this book. This book is sheer predictability from start to finish. Even the "scrooge" who hates Christmas and lands in a small Christmas town and falls in love trope isn't well played out. I wish there was an ounce of drama to make you connect to the characters. Instead, I was literally replaying every hallmark movie I've ever seen in my head while reading this. A book is meant to suck you into the world, not make your mind wander.

I received a free copy of this book to read and review.

I absolutely adored this book, it was sweet and funny and had a solid story arc all while giving all the feelings of a stereotypical hallmark Christmas movie.

The standard trope of a city girl (or guy) going to the middle of nowhere for work only to fall in love with a small town local was front and center. While it was fairly telegraphic and predictable, it was a joy to read. I smiled from page 1 right through to the end.

The story started out great, and I couldn’t wait to see how sarcastic, Grinchy Noelle would fare in a perfectly bucolic little Christmas town. But she just… disappeared? And sweet, romantic Noelle filled the rest of the pages? Idk. It sort of fell flat, and was missing something to me.

Thanks to #NetGalley and the publisher for access to this book in exchange for an honest review.

I had a really hard time with this book, the story line was like an outline that a stranger tried to connect the dots on. Something would be said on one page, and two pages later it would be completely different. There was huge editing errors. I don't even understand how the main couple got together in the end. The overarching idea should have been good, but there was no execution.

I have read a few Mia Summers books and I always enjoy them. This was a short Christmas read with grumpy/sunshine trope. Thankfully since it was short they fell faster then some books which I enjoyed. You will also get Hallmark vibes which is perfect for this time of the year. I would recommend giving this book a read for the holiday season.

Thank you NetGalley and Sterling & Stone for allowing me to read this ARC in advance for my honest opinion.

Laughing All The Way is a great quick Christmas themed book! I enjoyed the grumpy/sunshine trope and because it was a shorter story you know there is bound to be insta love! It is a closed door, which I normally wouldn’t seek out, but I enjoyed it just the same!
I think I enjoy when the female is the grumpy one and the male is the sunshine. It just makes it more fun since I personally am a sunshine character.
I would recommend reading this before the end of the year to get you into the holiday spirit!

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher/author for the ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I will start out with saying I have NEVER EVER read a romance novel so this is my first. Let me just say it completely exceeded my expectations and I absolutely loved it. Although I am not a big watcher of Hallmark Christmas movies, this one made me want to turn a bunch on and have a marathon. It was the perfect snowy, cold day short story and I couldn't put it down. I will be checking out other things from Mia Summers and adding her to my list of authors that I enjoy. I am so pleasantly surprised at this novel and I'm so glad I decided to give it a shot. It may have just opened me to a whole new genre!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an advanced copy of Laughing All the Way by Mia Summers. This took me a bit to get into, but once I did, I was invested in the story and rooting for Noelle and Mayor Colin.

- Small town
- Grumpy/Sunshine
- Clean
- Minimal Cursing

This holiday rom-com was so cute! I really enjoyed the short chapters that made this a breeze reading. I appreciated that this was a clean read. There was no sex and just one kissing scene at the end of the book. There was minimal cussing, which totaled to 5 d*mns, and 1 instance where someone was referred to a horses rear end.
I loved all the characters, especially Noelle and her dry wit. Even though she was a grich at heart, I really liked that she was still a good sport and joined in the fun anyway. I think that made her a very likable character.
I would have loved if this was turned into a holiday series in the future. A book featuring different characters would be so much fun to read! Thank you, NetGalley, and Sterling & Stone for the opportunity to read and review this advanced copy.

I had high hopes for Laughing All the Way when I stumbled upon it on #NetGalley... A very Hallmarky tale of:

🎁 Big city meets small town
🎁 Town goes all out for Christmas
🎁 Enemies to lovers
🎁 Grinch vs Whoville

While it checked the boxes and had a great premise, it really fell flat for me. I was able to finish it quickly primarily because of length of the book more than out of interest, but I commit to the holiday reads so I stuck with it despite not feeling much connection to the characters. I think it had a lot of great things going for it, but maybe tried for too many tropes in one story?

Thank you to @netgalley for providing this digital copy in exchange for my thoughts.

THIS BOOK WAS SO CUTE! The vibes were every thing in this book it really felt like i was watching a Hallmark movie!! it did feel a bit rushed just because its short, but other than that I really loved it.

Thank you NetGalley. I unfortunately didn’t finish this one. I just couldn’t get into the dynamic. It felt forced and I just couldn’t connect with the FMC.

This was a cute, fast, holiday-themed read. I liked it and would have loved it if it had a stronger ending and at least one kiss before the conflict to make the resolution believable. I could totally envision Noelle and Colin in a Hallmark Christmas movie!

I love a good hallmark movie and this book scratched that itch well. I wish it had been longer, because the first half of the book felt like I was drinking out of a fire hose with how quickly we were getting to the main plot. I really like Mia's writing style and I think if this book had been 100 pages longer, it would be a favorite for me. I am excited to pick up more of her books. My biggest complaint about this book beyond the speed of the beginning, would be it doesn't make sense for the main character Noelle to be a YouTuber, I feel like had she been a news caster then the reporting and assignments would make more sense. Beyond that, this was a fun, very fast, Christmas read to get you in the holiday spirit.

Thank you NetGalley and Sterling & Stone for the ARC of this book!

Noelle a sassy no good influencer meets Colin the small town's sweetheart. A cute book that brings back the Christmas cheer in our lives as we watch Noelle learn to love again. It is a book that can be used to introduce the genre to younger readers. On the other hand some things were just too rushed. The book could have easily been another 50 pages longer, so that we could better understand the dynamics between certain characters and so the ending didn't feel as rushed as it did. Despite all that this is a fun book to read sitting beside a Christmas Tree in an overly decorated room.

Thank you Netgalley, the publisher & author for this joyful experience.

I love a good hallmark, reverse grump sunshine. This book was a quick and easy romcom. My only complaint is I felt it was a bit rushed, I would have enjoyed it more if it wasn’t. Love the cover though.

This was truly a Hallmark Christmas movie in book form, and oh so cozy. I enjoyed how fast paced the story was, and loved the characters. The banter between Noelle and Colin was silly, fun, and sweet. I often see the grumpy/sunshine trope with the man as the grump, but not in this case. Colin is sweet, friendly, and loves Christmas. Noelle is a snarky, sarcastic Grinch. The detail the author put in the description of the town and Christmas Festival events made me imagine I was there in the Christmas town myself. This story was so fun to read! Cheesy, but fun, and isn’t that why so many love Hallmark?!
