It’s hard to base my rating solely off two chapters but I can guarantee that these two chapters will suck you in and have you begging for more. I’m so excited to meet these characters in greater detail, especially Jo. I feel like this is going to be a hot read this spring and I know it’s definitely on my TBR!

The excerpt quickly sets up the characters with each being distinctive. The excerpt jumps right into the plot and excerpt ends at a cliffhanger that wants me to keep reading. It is hard to tell how a book will go with just one chapter though but I did enjoy reading it.

From the first two pages I knew this is the style book I love to read. The sharp wit, blunt humor, and champion of women banter grabbed my attention immediately.
Although the extract was twelve pages, I quickly fell into step with the characters. They are so contrasting and quirky, yet mesh together well. The depth and personalities are notable as I found myself trying to decide who I saw myself in most.
These girl friends meet up after a fallout many years back where quite a little twist unfolds.
I will say the writing style is a bit jarring at times due to the heavy Aussie emphasis (#Americanproblem), but it settles in quite well once the story starts to unfold. I'm definitely left wanting more and can't wait to get my hands on the full book for some much needed 'girls rule/rue the men' fun.

The cover and the title of this book peeked my interest immediately!

This book appears to be a bit Sex in the City and a bit First Wives Club where a group of friends reunite for lunch after some time apart. They soon learn a shocking surprise from one of them and alas, the seed was planted with Revenge on the menu!

I enjoyed the wit and humor including the self deprecating kind, which had me giggling. The end left me with a cliffhanger that I can’t wait to read more about!

The excerpt was so fun! I was immediately sucked into the characters and wanted to know where the story was going to go. The writing is sharp and funny even in these first 12 pages. If the rest of this book is this fun, I will definitely be picking it up as soon as it comes out!

Lette's signature writing style, a perfect blend of humour and cheekiness, shines through, making this book an absolute joy to read.

Lette manages to establish a quick pace that keeps the narrative engaging and fun. The banter between the characters is sharp, and their personalities leap off the page. I really enjoyed this extract of The Revenge Club. You can immediately tell this story is filled with so much drama. It follows the story of 4 girlfriends on a reunion. You can just tell SO much is about to unfold from just that short portion.

Having read one chapter as an extract, I am hooked!

The extract is intriguing and mysterious. Who does Jo/Joe want revenge on, and why does she/he need to live "as a man" to extract it?

I'll definitely be looking out for this book when it releases.
