To say I have been a bit obsessed by this book ever since I first heard of it might be an understatement. But now that I have finished reading it, I stand true. I’m obsessively obsessed. The push and pull between them was enough without being too much. Adored them.

Bellefleur flaunts her romance prowess in her second stand alone novel set in her romanticized Seattle saga. This is her first book set entirely in one perspective, and the change in style suits her writing. I thought the romance between the characters was well-paced and believable. They have their problems but support each other in all the right moments. I’ll continue to be a fan of Bellefleur’s work as long as she keeps up these charming connections in her work. She might even convince me to move to the American northwest at this rate.

The way I DEVOURED this book. I've always binged Alexandria's books because, like, how can you not? But the way I slacked in my job just to read this masterpiece?
I've yet to find another author of queer romances who can write such funny, heartbreaking, spicy books like Alexandria can. If I'd had the ability to highlight lines on my copy to share, I would have, but alas I could not.
I fell in love with both Truly and Colin almost immediately when starting this book. I especially fell in love with the way they both break the stereotypes of FMC and MMC in a romance book, even if it's queer. We don't have this huge, hot, burly man that the petite FMC falls in love with, but a 5'8" pretty boy "with a slutty little waist" who defies a million stereotypes of the common MMC. While Truly is our typical "I believe in love and love prevails over everything" FMC, she's also a dominate, ambitious woman who doesn't exactly know what she wants in life and isn't afraid to admit it, but is willing to work for it.
There wasn't ever a time where I willingly put the book down, especially during the promised spicy scenes. Alexandria promised spice and she delivered. I enjoyed the broken stereotypes within these scenes, and I absolutely cannot WAIT to get a physical copy of this book to tab, highlight, and annotate some of these scenes ;).
If you're looking for a good queer romance that breaks the typical character-of-a-romance-novel stereotypes, this is definitely your book! I'm recommending it to everyone who will listen to me!

I really loved this romance. It didn't have a big misunderstanding/argument towards the end like so many romances do, but was a lovely story of two people falling in love. In my opinion, this is Alexandria Bellefleur's best yet.

This was soooo cute! Alexandria Bellefleur writes so well and each book is a joy to get lost in. I loved getting to know Truly and her musical family. I thought she paired really nicely with Colin. I wish we had his perspective to delve a bit more into his side but I also liked it this way!

There aren’t ENOUGH good things I can say about Bellefleur’s newest novel!!!
This had me squealing, cackling, and tearing up all within a few pages. These characters were so beautiful and so relatable, you just couldn’t help but adore them and their sweet story.
I had absolutely no notes to give on this one. What an outstanding job by this author and her team!

Thank you to Avon and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review
I would recommend if you're looking for (SPOILERS)
-m/f contemporary romance
-bi rep
-meet hate
-frenemies to lovers
-hate how attractive you are
-incredible sexual tension
-amazing banter
I am an Alexandria Bellefleu stan and this only confirmed it. Truly and Colin were such the perfect match. Not starting out on the right foot at all, Colin was willing to absolutely grovel and who how deeply he cared about his sister to get in Truly's good graces, and also developing a bit of a crush. I adored how Colin beyond enjoyed it when Truly was a bit mean to him.
And Truly. How flustered she got as she fell for Colin. This was text message flirting and just modern dating done right I just ate this book up. The secondary characters were so well drawn I was just cacking. But the beating heart of the book is the incredible romance between Colin and Truly who first trust each other in the bedroom and then Truly learns to trust him with her heart as she struggles to after her engagement breaks up and her parents seperate.
This is steamy, banter filled, and just fun all of the hallmarks of an incredible AB book. I know this will be another favorite of mine to reread.

Thank you Avon and NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
THE BANTER IN THIS BOOK IS GOLDEN!!(see what I did there?)
Right off the bat, you can see how intense, hilarious, and sexy Truly and Colin’s chemistry is. I loved seeing their back and forth just as much as their vulnerable moments.
Special shout-out to beautiful bisexual rep for BOTH characters!
And for those who will ask - yes there’s a LOT of spice in this book. Colin McCory had already joined my long list of book boyfriends with his wit and charm, but he solidify that position when he…well if you know you know.
Overall, this was a fun romance with a lot of heart, It doesn’t get better than this. (Okay, now that was my last one.)
5 out of 5 stars!

Thank you to NetGalley and Avon for providing an ARC of this title in exchange for an honest review.
Alexandria Bellefleur might be my one and only romance ride or die. I will truly (madly, deeply) read anything she writes—I am not, in general, a fan of m/f romance, but she won me over with how good her previous m/f romance, Hang the Moon, was. And so even though I'm not an m/f reader generally (and even though I am super skeptical of whoever it was that decided to use Steve Harrington from Stranger Thing's face for the male love interest on the cover—NO Steve Harrington shade, he's indisputably the best character on that show), I was eager to dive into this, the sophomore title in her new, loosely-connected romance series. (Seriously, I'm talking LOOSELY connected—the only reference to her previous book, The Fiancée Farce, is a blink-and-you'll- miss-it connection between two characters.)
And overall I was pleased! Our love interests are Truly, a successful romance novel who's down on her luck romantically—her fiancée has just been caught cheating on her, and her parents have announced they are separating—and Colin, a divorce lawyer who's much more of a realist when it comes to love than a curmudgeon about it. The two inevitably clash with such differing world views (Truly, despite her recent spate of bad luck, remains fiercely a believer in fairytale romance), but there's sparks there, too, and I loved, loved, LOVED the banter and flirtation that Bellefleur wrote between the two of them. The progression from agitators to lovers was super natural and kept me riveted, and I especially loved the way Colin was written: even while Truly can be a little hot-tempered and quick to judgement, Colin is super respectful, gives her space, and is in general an extremely generous partner and individual. I think an early advertisement for this book described their dynamic as "she's everything, he's just Ken", and as funny as that is, I don't think it's quite accurate; yes, he's in awe of her, and yes, it's very romantic and sweet, but Truly admires and cares for Colin in equal measure, and that's what makes the dynamic so appealing to read. It's also got a fair amount of spice—I feel like Bellefleur's books are getting spicier and spicier as she goes on, and you will not see me complaining about it.
There were a few things that I thought could have been better—the way Truly puts her parents' love story on a pedestal sometimes comes across as painfully juvenile, with her assertion that their love is perfect because she's never seen them fight making her sound much younger than 27. I understand that she's very naïve in some ways, and doesn't have a ton of romantic experience (the cheating fiancée who sets the story in motion has been her boyfriend since college), but that just struck me as an odd perspective. Actually, I wished that the story leaned in a little more to the conflict between Truly and Colin's opposing views of romance and less on the relationship drama between the parents overall. The parents, who are both huge theater people, also have this "game" that they play where they talk to each other in song titles from Broadway shows, and while I'm also a theater person, I found this extremely annoying—especially because they do it even while telling Truly about their separation! Luckily, it's just a small part of the book, but it definitely left an impression.
Overall, though, a really satisfying addition to the body of work of an author I love. Can't wait to see what's next!

Truly, Madly, Deeply is a queer m/f romance where both main characters are bi. The bisexual representation in this book is incredible and I ate this book up! I literally had to force myself to put it down.
Truly and Colin have amazing chemistry and the banter is some of the best I’ve ever read. The spicy scenes are top notch. 🔥🔥🔥 Truly and Colin literally had me blushing, giggling, and kicking my feet!
Colin deserves to be at the top of every best book boyfriends list.
I also love that this book didn’t use some stereotypical romance plots like miscommunication and a third act breakup. It was so nice to read a romance without those tropes.
I will be reading this again (and again).
Thank you to NetGalley and Avon for an eARC of this in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you to Avon for this eARC! OH. MY WORD. Alexandria Bellefleur simply cannot miss. She sits down, cracks those knuckles and writes the most fantastic charming sexy little characters you EVER did see. Truly and Colin are not subtle and they are not shy. When they figure out they are wild for eachother oh baby do they go after what they want. I also loved the added layer of their families conflict. Seeing how they stand up for each other, support each other and how they know when to sit the other person down and tell them something they may not want to hear. Two bi main characters is also EXCELLENT and makes my heart do jumping jacks. This is going to have a place of honor on my bookshelf right next to all of Alexandria's other remarkable work.

I am Truly, Madly, Deeply in love with this book. I have high expectations for Alexandria Bellefleur and she delivers. Truly Livingston is a romance author who believes in happy ever afters. While doing a popular podcast on love she is a counterpoint to cynical divorce (family law) lawyer Colin McCory. They clash on air but he reaches out for a second chance. The texting and banter is top tier clever and I highlighted so many funny lines. Her parents love of musical theater and composers is off the wall hilarious to a theater nerd like me. Best friend Lulu is a wonderful sounding board and I missed her during the second half of the story.
This book is sizzling hot. I think it is the most steamy Bellefleur has written. I love the conversations and connection while getting busy with each other. Truly and Colin are both bisexuals and I enjoyed the inclusion and discussion of bi-erasure. Truly is just the right amount of a mess with recent events in her life and of course the pressure to write. (I am trying to keep this spoiler free.) Colin is perfect. He is pretty, boundary accepting, loves his quirky sister and can use his words to express himself. I think the only storyline I wanted more closure on deals with Colin and his family. And I did catch a few lines that puts this book in the same world as The Fiancee Farce (April 2023).
Read this if you want a romance that is funny, hot, and leaves you feeling wonderfully happy. I absolutely will be purchasing a physical copy. On my last trip to NYC I wandered through small Brooklyn Bookstores and purchased signed copies of Bellefleur’s previous novels. I will have to figure out how to get a signed copy of this one to add to my collection of Alexandria Bellefleur books. This is my first book to read in 2024 and I chose a fabulous one to start the year. Thank you to Avon and Harper Voyager for the ARC via NetGalley and I am leaving a voluntary review.

I truly, madly, deeply, enjoyed this book. I will be adding it to my bookstore! It is a crime that I can't put it out right now!

Alexandria Bellefleur could do no wrong! Another wonderful and pleasant novel her! She has easily become one of my favorite authors and people should not miss out on this book!

Bellefleur has nailed the witty and snarky romance banter! While this book isn't quite enemies to lovers, it does feature excellent banter between the main character and her love interest. The book was well-paced, engaging, and believable. Bellefleur also provided readers with excellent bisexual representation, with both characters identifying as bi and having been in primarily straight-passing relationships, they really took the opportunity to discuss the stigma and double standards that come along with that.

Alexandria, you are the queen of characters. I rooted for Truly & Colin SO FAST.
And seeing bi characters in a m/f relationship on a page?! Give me more of that. Nuanced discussion about bi erasure was such a
My ONE thing? GIVE THE LOVABLE SIDE CHARACTERS MORE PAGE TIME! I looooved Truly’s best friend and Colin’s sister- I just wanted more of them!
I also love when spice doesn’t overtake plot- this was really nicely balanced, as her other books have managed to be.

Does happily ever after actually exist?
Truly used to think so… but when her own relationship ends and her parents’ separation is weighing heavily over her, she’s got every reason to question it- especially after encountering divorce attorney, Colin.

Alexandria Bellefleur is the QUEEN of queer romance. This book was flawless! The banter, the chemistry, the emotion, the swoon- all of it was so enjoyable. I loved the characters, their honest and healthy communication and their passion. I also really appreciated the bi representation. Thank y0u Netgalley and Avon for my copy!

The story of Truly and Colin was cute. The banter was great, but at times it felt like the story was really dialogue heavy and didn't always set the scene. I would have loved to see more interactions with Truly's best friend because the sex shop scene was great. It's definitely a great book to pick up if you're in the mood for a sweet, quick romance.

Truly is a successful romance author facing a deadline and getting over a cheating ex. Colin is a divorce lawyer who can never live up to his parents' standards. Both are bisexual disasters who cannot stop thinking about each other after a romance advice podcast forces them into a bickering tension that will not let up. Bellefleur does a great job with writing enjoyably mean dialog between the two leads, which spills over plentifully into the very explicit and openly communicative sex scenes. Secondary characters are interesting, but most of them fade into the background for much of the book and their threads are either tied up too quickly or left loose. A quick and smutty read with some necessary bi/bi representation and not a lot of drama.

Truly Madly Deeply was so good that I already can't wait to read it again once I buy a physical copy. Bellefleur slways writes incredible characters that are full of layered, complicated humanity, whip smart, and smoking hot. Truly is a wonderful, beautifully flawed character that caught my attention and earned me love from the first page. Collin McCrory is the ultimate Wife Guy and a delightful brat - the perfect partner for Truly. These two characters changed the game for my hopes and dreams from a romance. As always, I wait on bated breath for Bellefleur's next book!
