Thank you NetGalley for the chance to read this amazing book! It is Hallmark holiday in a book. Jace and Mia are the sweetest and I absolutely love them. This was my first book by this author and I cannot wait to read more of her books…. Also now I need mistletoe kisses in my life and a Jace.

This is your holiday Hallmark movie in book form. As I read it, I could see it playing on my television. It is full of tropes that many love.

I don't believe that I have read any other books by this author. This book is part of a series, it and I know I haven't read the previous ones. I was able to follow this story without any trouble. But I do try to read series in order whenever possible. Having said that, this can absolutely be read as a standalone book.

I enjoyed the writing style the author has. There was witty banter between characters that had me smiling as I read. It's a light hearted, easy Christmas story that most will find a quick read. Just want we need when we are so busy and need an escape from reality.

I want to thank the author and Netgalley for the opportunity to read an advanced digital copy of this book. I am happy to leave an honest review.

First let me thank netgalley and Grace Worthington for the chance to read this book early!

Rating:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is such a cute Christmas romance. Mia is a bit of a Christmas Scrooge, and Jace is just trying to escape a bad year. But when both are roped into helping with a dying towns Mistletoe Festival they may both find not only their Christmas spirit but also a piece of their souls they were missing.

I loved the plot of this book, it was so interesting to see how these two were going to work together to save the town. What really kept me reading though were the characters! I loved Jace and Mia. Together their chemistry was off the charts, their banter had me in, tears and their romance was just so sweet!!

If you’re looking for a Christmas romance between a sassy, tough as nails, but loves her family FMC, and a rockstar who just wants a little piece and quiet while looking to rediscover his muse, forced together in the slowest burn romance full of Christmas time shenanigans then this is the book for you!

The Mistletoe Makeover by Grace Worthington delivers a heartwarming holiday tale blending celebrity romance, festive cheer, and unexpected connections. Mia MacPherson, an unemployed event planner, reluctantly teams up with Jace Knight, the country rock star in need of a reputation overhaul, for a grand Christmas festival. The story beautifully explores themes of healing, second chances, and the magic of Christmas, making it a perfect read for those who enjoy sweet and enchanting holiday romances.

The Mistletoe Makeover by Grace Worthington is an absolute delight! Celebrity fake-dating, forced proximity with a touch of never-been-kissed thrown in for good measure, this story will warm readers' hearts.

Mia, the burnt-out event planner who is also burnt out on Christmas with a world of hurts behind the Christmas aversion, is coerced into helping her mom's hometown revamp their Christmas festival. While she struggles with the idea, she goes along to help pay her mom’s bills. To add to the “fun,” her mom has coordinated for Mia to convince a local country rock star to perform a special concert to bring in tourists and money for the town.

Jace, a leading country rock star with a bad-boy image, wants to be left alone. He’s tired of being used as a means to make people money, and his last relationship left him bitter and wanting to avoid all things Christmas. When Jace and Mia first meet, it is definitely not “cute.”

While Mia and Jace get off to a rocky start, they push through and begin to admire one another. Though they start with a challenge to chase happiness and fun, the feelings grow so much deeper. Of course, all relationships have roadblocks, and theirs is no different. They have to make the choice to be open, communicate, and commit. While happiness can sometimes be fleeting, love stays. Be sure to snag this on the 29th to follow Mia and Jace's journey to their HEA. You won’t be sorry!

I really loved the small town romance, enemies to lovers vibe! I also really liked the friendship between Mia and Jaz. Mia’s character was so relatable.
